Tim Duncan, F/C4/12/2015 9:44:00 PM
Description: Spurs power forward Tim Duncan recorded a double-double during Sunday's victory against the Suns.

Tony Parker, G4/8/2015 2:58:00 PM
Description: Spurs point guard Tony Parker is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Rockets.
Insight: San Antonio could use this game to move up the standings and possibly earn home court in the first round, but at the end of the day, it is in their better interest to make sure Parker is healthy for the playoffs. The Sports Network will be surprised if Parker plays. Expect Cory Joseph to make the start.
Kawhi Leonard, F4/7/2015 10:34:00 PM
Description: Spurs small forward Kawhi Leonard scored a team-high 26 points during Tuesday's victory against the Thunder.
Insight: Leonard was very efficient, going 10-of-15 from the field, 2-of-2 from the line, and 4-of-4 from downtown. He also managed two assists, two boards, three steals, one block, and three turnovers.
Tony Parker, G4/7/2015 9:48:00 PM
Description: Spurs point guard Tony Parker left Tuesday's game with tightness in his right Achilles and will not return.
Insight: With the Spurs just killing the Thunder, there was no reason for Parker to play through the injury. It is unclear how serious this injury may be. Stay tuned for updates.

Description: Spurs power forward Tim Duncan had 19 points in the, 107-92, victory over the Warriors on Sunday.
Insight: Duncan hasn't played much lately, mostly because the Spurs have been playing so well and beating team by more than 10 points. He hasn't played more than 24 minutes in the last four games and as a result, averaged just 8.0 ppg and 6.5 rpg. Duncan only played 24 minutes Sunday, but scored 19 points with seven rebounds and two assists.
Kawhi Leonard, F4/5/2015 9:46:00 PM
Description: Spurs small forward Kawhi Leonard had an awesome game on Sunday in the victory over the top seeded Warriors.
Insight: The seven steals is a season-high. With the fantasy playoffs in full swing, Leonard is in full swing. Leonard scored 26 points, shooting 11-for-17 from the field. He also had seven steals, five rebounds, three assists and one 3-pointer.
Kawhi Leonard, F4/3/2015 10:59:00 PM
Description: Spurs small forward Kawhi Leonard continues to be San Antonio's best player.
Insight: Part of that is due to the fact the Spurs are blowing out teams lately, and the older players like Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili aren't playing much, but Leonard didn't play long on Friday either, scoring 20 points in 22 minutes. He hit two 3-pointers and had four assists, two rebounds, one steal and one block.
Danny Green, G4/3/2015 10:56:00 PM

Description: Spurs starting center Tiago Splitter left Friday's game after just six minutes with a calf injury according to Roto World.
Insight: Splitter has dealt with these calf issues before, so this is not good news. Perhaps this was a precautionary move because this is the Spurs we are talking about here. Check back for further updates.
Kawhi Leonard, F4/1/2015 9:17:00 PM
Description: Spurs small forward Kawhi Leonard led all San Antonio starters with 10 points on Wednesday versus the Magic.
Insight: Leonard also had seven rebounds which was tied with Tiago Splitter and Cory Joseph for the team lead. None of the San Antonio starters played more than 22 minutes. Tim Duncan played just 12. If the Spurs are in a blowout down the stretch, coach Gregg Popovich is not going to play the starters a lot of minutes, which makes them a risky play for fantasy.
Tim Duncan, F/C3/31/2015 10:50:00 PM
Description: Spurs power forward Tim Duncan scored 12 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in the, 95-81, victory over the Heat on Tuesday.
Insight: Duncan shot 50 percent from the field and also had three blocks, one steal and one assist. Duncan is very consistent, recording a lot of double-doubles in games this season, but he has very little upside.

Description: Spurs small forward Kawhi Leonard scored a team-high 22 points in the, 95-81, victory over the Heat on Tuesday.

Manu Ginobili, SG3/24/2015 7:37:00 PM
Description: Spurs guard Manu Ginobili is expected to play on Tuesday versus the Mavericks according to the San Antonio Express-News.
Insight: Ginobili has missed the last four games, but coach Gregg Popovich expects him to play on Tuesday. Still, Ginobili is a risky play in standard leagues.

Description: Spurs small forward Kawhi Leonard had 20 points and 10 rebounds in the, 114-95, victory over the Hawks on Sunday.

Manu Ginobili, SG3/15/2015 11:02:00 PM
Description: Spurs guard Manu Ginobili (ankle) could miss anywhere from 7-10 days, according to head coach Gregg Popovich.
Insight: He left the locker room on crutches, so there is clearly cause for concern. Danny Green, Marco Belinelli, Cpry Joseph, and Patty Mills should all see an increase in minutes.
Kawhi Leonard, F3/15/2015 9:50:00 PM
Description: San Antonio small forward Kawhi Leonard led all Spurs' players with 15 points during Sunday's 123-97 win against the Timberwolves.

Insight: He scored a team-high 32 points by shooting 13-of-19 from the field and 5-of-8 from the line. Parker also recorded four rebounds, two dimes, one 3-pointer, two steals, and one turnover. Owners who stuck with him are now being rewarded.

Description: Spurs point guard Tony Parker may be finally finding his groove.
Insight: Parker is having a disappointing season, mostly due to his lingering injuries and age. He is averaging just 13.8 ppg and 4.8 apg this season, but he has scored 19 points in two of the last three games. Of course in the game between the 19-point affairs, Parker had just six points.

Kawhi Leonard, FCold.2/19/2015 10:30:00 AM
Description: Spurs small forward Kawhi Leonard did not shoot well in the last three games before the break.
Insight: Leonard was just 11-of-41(26.8 percent) in the final three contests before the All-Star game. He's still a 44 percent shooter this season and a career 49 percent shooter, so he should be able to turn it around.
Tony Parker, G2/19/2015 10:28:00 AM
Description: Spurs point guard Tony Parker was playing better just before the All-Star break and with the added rest should continue to play well.
Insight: Parker is having a disappointing season, averaging 14.5 ppg and 4.7 apg this season, but averaged 16.4 ppg, 2.0 rpg, 4.4 apg in the five games just before the break. The Spurs are a deep team, so Parker isn't going to average 20 ppg as he did in 2012.

Description: Spurs guard Danny Green knocked down five 3-pointers during Wednesday's victory against the Pistons.

Description: Spurs power forward Tim Duncan had a key turnover that hurt San Antonio in their loss to Toronto on Sunday.

Description: Spurs point guard Tony Parker's numbers continue to plummet.
Insight: Since returning from injury, Parker has averaged just 11.3 ppg, 1.9 rpg, 4.0 apg in his last 14 games. That's not fantasy worthy. He's only playing 26 mpg in that span which could be one of the reasons and unfortunately, that may not change much the rest of the way.

Insight: Parker also had three assists, three rebounds and one turnover. He shot 60 percent from the floor including 4-for-4 from behind the arc. Parker appears to be the focal point of the Spurs offense at least until Kawhi Leonard returns.
Tiago Splitter, C10/27/2014 8:21:00 PM
Description: Spurs starting center Tiago Splitter will not play on Tuesday against the Mavericks.
Insight: Splitter has a calf strain, which has kept him out of practice for the last couple weeks. Splitter will miss a few games. Look for Boris Diaw to get a few extra minutes.
Kawhi Leonard, F10/27/2014 8:03:00 PM
Description: Spurs small forward Kawhi Leonard has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Mavericks according to ESPN.
Insight: Leonard has been out since Oct. 11 with an eye infection. He should be back within three-to-five days. He should see a bigger role in the offense after breking out and winning the Finals MVP last spring.
Tiago Splitter, C10/24/2014 1:53:00 PM
Description: San Antonio starting center Tiago Splitter is questionable for Tuesday's game against Dallas with a strained right calf.
Insight: Splitter has only played more than 60 games once in his four NBA seasons so this shouldn't be unexpected. There are better fantasy center options.
Kawhi Leonard, F10/24/2014 1:52:00 PM
Description: San Antonio small forward Kawhi Leonard is questionable for Tuesday's game against Dallas due to an eye infection
Insight: Leonard was a breakout star last season and earned the NBA Finals MVP for his contributions. We're looking for him to improve on last season by racking up 14.8 ppg and 6.4 rpg. but it might not start on opening night.
Danny Green, G10/21/2014 11:58:00 AM
Description: Spurs guard Danny Green's play improved over the course of last season and by April he was a low-end viable option.
Insight: Green's season-long numbers aren't great, but has has shot over 41 percent from beyond the arc for three straight seasons. We're projecting 8.9 ppg, 2.9 rpg, 1.6 apg.
Tiago Splitter, C10/21/2014 11:53:00 AM
Description: San Antonio starting center Tiago Splitter is already dealing with nagging injuries after playing just 59 games last season.
Insight: In fact, Splitter has only played more than 60 games once in his four NBA seasons and his production isn't worth waiting for. Figure him for 7.7 ppg and 6.0 rpg.
Manu Ginobili, SG10/21/2014 11:50:00 AM
Description: Spurs veteran guard Manu Ginobili is not on this season's recommended list.
Insight: Ginobili simply can't stay healthy and also seemed to hold back until playoff time. If you want a guy who gives you 11 points, three rebounds and four assists for about 60 games, Ginobili is your guy. Most fantasy owners want more.
Kawhi Leonard, F10/21/2014 11:46:00 AM
Description: We loved what we saw out of San Antonio small forward Kawhi Leonard last season and in particular in the playoffs and expect that improvement to continue in Year 4.
Insight: Leonard was awarded the NBA Finals MVP for his contributions and while we don't think he can play 82 games at that level we're looking for him to improve on last season by racking up 14.8 ppg and 6.4 rpg. He's also got huge upside if one of the "old guys" goes down to injury.
Tony Parker, G10/21/2014 11:42:00 AM
Description: Spurs point guard Tony Parker must continue to shoulder a big part of the San Antonio offense as Tim Duncan's career winds down.
Insight: Parker's numbers fell last season after a huge 2012-13. Though only 32-years-old, he's played a lot of basketball, starting with the Spurs at age 19. We still think he's got more in the tank and rebounds to post around 18.5 ppg and 7.5 apg.
Tim Duncan, F/C10/21/2014 11:39:00 AM
Description: Spurs forward Tim Duncan is no longer the "Big Fundamenta,l" but he's still a pretty good player and a solid fantasy option.
Insight: Where once he would score 20-plus points and 10-plus rebounds every night like clockwork, he still averaged 15.1 ppg and 9..7 rpg last season. But with it comes the occasional night off that a 38-year-old with almost 1,500 games played requires.
Manu Ginobili, SG7/29/2014 12:06:00 PM
Description: Spurs guard Manu Ginobili (stress fracture in his right leg) has apparently not been granted permission by the Spurs to play in the FIBA World Cup of Basketball.
Insight: Ginobili wanted to play for his country in the World Cup, but only if healthy. After a long and successful playoff run, it's not surprising that the team wanted the 37-year-old to rest as much as possible in the offseason.
Manu Ginobili, SG7/22/2014 11:10:00 AM
Description: Spurs guard Manu Ginobili (stress fracture in his right leg) says he no longer feels any pain, according to an interview he gave to Argentine website Canchallena.LaNacion.com.
Insight: Ginobili would like to play for his country in the 2014 FIBA World Cup, but only if healthy and free of pain. We expect Spurs coach Gregg Popovich hopes he bypasses the games and rests for the upcoming season.
Patty Mills, G7/2/2014 7:31:00 PM
Description: The Spurs have agreed to a three-year deal with Patty Mills, according to Buck Harvey of the San Antonio Express-News.
Insight: A torn rotator cuff that will keep Mills out for seven months put a damper on his free agency tour, although he may have planned to sign with the Spurs regardless. He averaged 10.2 points, 2.1 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.7 threes in just 18.9 minutes per game for the Spurs during the regular season.
Patty Mills, G7/2/2014 4:47:00 PM
Description: Free agent guard Patty Mills is expected to miss seven months after having surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff in his right shoulder, reports The Sydney Morning Herald.
Insight: Mills, who was born in Australia, averaged 10.2 points, 2.1 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.7 threes in just 18.9 minutes per game for the Spurs during the regular season and was expected to be a hot commodity in free agency, but now he may just re-sign with San Antonio.
Manu Ginobili, SG7/2/2014 4:41:00 PM
Description: Spurs guard Manu Ginobili has a stress fracture in his right leg, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports.

Kawhi Leonard, FHot6/15/2014 11:15:00 PM
Description: San Antonio small forward Kawhi Leonard collected 22 points and ten rebounds before fouling out Sunday in Game 5 of the NBA Finals.
Insight: Leonard was awarded NBA Finals MVP for his contributions. He averaged 17.8 ppg in the series including 23.7 ppg in Games 3 through 5. Leonard is a superstar in the making and should play an even bigger role next season as the Spurs look to repeat.
Patty Mills, G6/15/2014 11:10:00 PM
Description: Patty Mills came out of nowhere to score 17 points Sunday in San Antonio's series-clinching win over Miami.
Insight: Mills sunk five three-pointers including four in a row during a 14-point third quarter. A non-factor in last year's Finals (2.0 ppg), Mills proved to be a legitimate difference maker this time around, scoring 10.2 ppg in 15.2 minutes per contest.
Boris Diaw, F6/10/2014 8:36:00 PM
Description: The Spurs are trying a different starting lineup Tuesday against the Heat. Boris Diaw, who started 24 games for San Antonio during the regular season, will move into the starting five for the first time this postseason. SOURCE: Bill Schoening, 1200 WOAI

Description: San Antonio power forward Tim Duncan gave a valiant effort Sunday in Game 2 of the Finals.

Manu Ginobili, SG6/6/2014 9:23:00 AM
Description: Spurs guard Manu Ginobili came off the bench with another stellar effort in Game 1 of the Finals against Miami.
Insight: Ginobili posted 16 points, five rebounds, 11 assists and three steals to be the best player off either bench in Game 1.
Tim Duncan, F/C6/6/2014 9:20:00 AM
Description: Spurs PF/C Tim Duncan was on his game in the Finals opener, shooting 9-for-10 from the field en route to a 21-point, 10-rebound, three-assist night.
Insight: The 38-year-old Duncan weathered the non-air conditioned arena as well or better than his younger opposition. He's averaging less points and rebounds than last season's playoffs, but he's been more efficient, shooting .529 from the field.
Tony Parker, G6/1/2014 7:18:00 PM
Description: Spurs point guard Tony Parker (ankle) expects to play Thursday in Game 1 of the NBA Finals against Miami. SOURCE: Yahoo Sports
Insight: He left Saturday's game in the third quarter and did not return. Parker has averaged 17.2 ppg on 48.7 percent shooting this postseason. Manu Ginobili and Patty Mills would share point guard duties if Parker can't suit up for Game 1.
Tiago Splitter, CCold5/29/2014 8:58:00 PM
Description: San Antonio center Tiago Splitter won't start Thursday's game against OKC. SOURCE: Kurt Helin, NBC Sports
Insight: Instead, Gregg Popovich will use Tim Duncan at center with Matt Bonner getting the start at power forward. Splitter had just one rebound in Game 4 and should spend most of Game 5 sitting next to Popovich on the Spurs' bench.
Manu Ginobili, SG5/29/2014 11:13:00 AM
Description: Spurs guard Manu Ginobili has been dealing with a sore left foot, but it shouldn't keep him from playing in Game 5 of the series with Oklahoma City.
Insight: Ginobili was horrible on Tuesday, going 2-for-8 for a total of five points with three fouls and ended up playing under 11 minutes. He averaged 17.3 ppg in the first three games of the series.
Tiago Splitter, C5/28/2014 8:14:00 PM
Description: Spurs center Tiago Splitter was fined $5,000 for flopping in Tuesday's loss to OKC. SOURCE: Associated Press
Insight: He's had a tough series, averaging just 5.5 ppg in 20 minutes per contest. Head coach Gregg Popovich benched his starters for most of the second half in Game 4 so it will be interesting to see how many minutes Splitter and the rest of the starting five will receive Thursday in Game 5.
Manu Ginobili, SG5/27/2014 10:52:00 AM
Description: Spurs guard Manu Ginobili is dealing with a sore left foot, but it shouldn't keep him from playing in Game 4 of the series with Oklahoma City.
Insight: Ginobili was on fire Sunday night, posting 23 points on 8-for-13 shooting, including 6-for-9 from beyond the arc. The Spurs guard is a career 15.5 ppg player in the playoffs as compared to 12.3 during 12 regular seasons. Description: San Antonio guard Tony Parker insists he'll be good to go when the Western Conference Finals open next week. SOURCE: Mike Monroe, San Antonio Express-News
Insight: Parker is dealing with a Grade 1 hamstring strain. He dealt with a Grade 2 strain in The Finals last season and was still effective (15.7 ppg, 6.4 apg) so we wouldn't worry about Parker being too hobbled for Game 1 on Monday.
Tony Parker, G5/15/2014 12:25:00 PM
Description: Spurs point guard Tony Parker is questionable for Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals.
Insight: Parker left Game 5 of the Western Conference Semifinals against Portland due to tightness in his left hamstring and did not return. it isn't considered serious, according to the team and he has four days or more to recover pending the completion of the Clippers-Thunder series.
