Insight: Edwards has emerged over the past two seasons as part of the Vikings' talent-laden line and appears ready to test free agency coming off 16.5 total sacks in the past two years. Still just 26 years old, he should find plenty of interest whenever free agency opens. (

Insight: If Edwards is able to play, he would almost certainly be limited. Brian Robison may have a significant role this week. (

Insight: The scary part is that Edwards couldn't even limp off under his own power. He needed assistance to make it to the sidelines and is considered questionable to return in the second half.

Insight: Edwards also reportedly said he thinks NFL commissioner Roger Goodell is overpaid. He may be overly optimistic about his own value, as the Vikings have apparently told him they will tender him a contract for 2010. That would most likely be a one-year deal. (
