2012: Selected by Detroit in 2nd round (44th overall) of the NBA Draft.
Had a breakout season in 2011-12, averaging 14.5 ppg for the high-powered Missouri Tigers, earning Third-Team All-Big 12 Conference honors in the process...Outstanding from three-point range, draining 78 long-range buckets at a conference-best 45.9 percent clip...Averaged 10 ppg, 3.1 rpg and 2.0 apg during his junior year...A one-dimensional player on offense with nearly 80 percent of his scoring attempts coming as jump-shots, but his shooting percentage has shown improvement with each season...Can get free in open space and knock down shots...Though not a strength, can occasionally create for himself off the dribble...A sub-par athlete for a shooting guard, but plays solid defense and always gives maximum effort...Has a slight frame and lacks ideal strength for a pro prospect...Rarely puts the ball on the floor and isn`t shifty enough to elude defenders going side-to-side...Ability as a spot-up shooter affords him value on most teams, but limited overall skill-set projects him as a second or third guy off the bench type at present.
