Description: Damian Lillard hit the shot of his life Friday in Portland's series-clinching win over Houston.
Insight: With the Trail Blazers down by two and less than a second remaining, Nic Batum inbounded the ball to Lillard (25 points on 8-of-14 shooting) who sunk the game-winner from 25 feet out. Rockets coach Kevin McHale is going to get a lot of heat for this one because Houston still had a foul to give when Lillard put up his shot. It's the first time the Blazers have advanced past the first round since 2000.

Insight: Lillard missed practice Tuesday because of a stomach bug but he seems to be feeling much better today. The 23-year-old is averaging 20.1 ppg at home this season.

Insight: Lilliard generated 38 points on 15-for-26 shooting. He also produced a game-high 11 assists. Next week, the second-year guard out of Weber State will become the first player to compete in all five events at All-Star weekend (Rising Stars Game, Skills Challenge, Three-Point Shootout, Dunk Contest and the All-Star Game).

Lilliard has hit 15 threes over the last two games after going 0-of-7 from behind the arc on Sunday. Insight: He's just the third rookie in history to accomplish that feat (Wilt Chamberlain and Elvin Hayes). Voters won't have to think too hard when they're filling out their Rookie of the Year ballots this season.

Description: Portland guard Damian Lillard will be available for Monday's game versus the Jazz. Lillard has been nursing a sore shoulder since he collided with a camera man a week ago in Atlanta.
Insight: Lillard hasn't missed a game yet and he's averaging 18.5 ppg since the injury so he can't be hurting too badly. He's the clear favorite to win this year's NBA Rookie of the Year award.

Insight: Lillard finished with the fastest time in both rounds, knocking off Philadelphia point guard Jrue Holiday in the finals. Lillard also competed in the Rising Stars Challenge on Friday, scoring 18 points for Team Shaq.

Description: Portland point guard Damian Lillard had what might have been the worst shooting game of his life Sunday night against Orlando. He made just 1-of-16 from the field and 0-of-8 from the 3-point arc and finished with four points.
Insight: Lillard did have 12 assists and one steal in the game. The guard averaged 21.4 ppg on 47.1 percent shooting in the first five games this month and he should bounce back quickly.
