Denver, CO (Sports Network) - Danilo Gallinari scored 18 points and grabbed six rebounds, Corey Brewer chipped in 15 points, and the Denver Nuggets held off the Golden State Warriors, 104-98, Monday in a preseason matchup at the Pepsi Center.
Jordan Hamilton shot 3-for-6 on his 3-point attempts on his way to 11 points, Andre Iguodala had 10 points and seven assists, and Ty Lawson scored eight to go with five assists in the victory.
Timofey Mozgov scored 10 and hauled in eight boards, and Kosta Koufos pulled down a game-high 13 rebounds to go with six points for the Nuggets.
Stephen Curry shot 10-for-15 -- including a 4-for-5 effort behind the arc -- on his way to a game-high 25 points, and Klay Thompson dropped in 21 points to go with six rebounds.
David Lee had 15 points and Jarrett Jack had six points and a team-high five assists for the Warriors.
Though the score was tied 86-86 heading into the fourth, the Nuggets built up an 8-point lead with 5:48 left and held on down the stretch for the victory, with Brewer netting nine points in the final quarter.
