T.Y.'s time
Philadelphia, PA ( - What do the initials "T.Y." in T.Y. Hilton stand for? Actually, they don't stand for anything.

Hilton, whose given name is Eugene, was called "Little Ty" when he was younger after his father Tyrone, and it eventually became T.Y.

In fantasyland, however, T.Y. will stand for "Thank You," as in, thank you for all the points, Mr. Hilton.

At least it will for fantasy owners who buy in to Hilton's breakout.

Sure, the second-year receiver's pricetag went up after he had 121 yards and three touchdowns on seven catches Sunday night in Indianapolis' first game without Reggie Wayne, but he likely can still be had for a cost less than the value he'll produce going forward.

Andrew Luck is having an MVP-caliber season, throwing for 1,845 yards with 13 touchdown passes, three rushing touchdowns and three interceptions while leading the Colts to a 6-2 record.

He needs to throw the ball somewhere, and Hilton is the only Colts receiver who consistently got open against Houston.

Luck targeted Hilton 12 times in the game, and I think we'll not only see that usage continue, we'll see it increase.

He's not going to target Griff Whalen and Darius Heyward-Bey another 15 times combined, that's for sure. Those two came away with a total of four catches for 43 yards against the Texans.

Whalen often had defenders on him when Luck tried to force him the ball, and Heyward-Bey still cannot catch the football consistently even when he's open.

Hilton, meanwhile, had at least some separation on all seven of his receptions.

The St. Louis Rams will be no match for the Luck-to-Hilton combo in Week 10, and Hilton will be a top-15 receiver the rest of the season.

Get those thank you cards ready and addressed to Lucas Oil Stadium, 500 S. Capitol Ave., Indianapolis, Ind., 46225.

And send a couple to The Sports Network, too, when Hilton leads you to the playoffs.
