Jimmy Butler, G/F, CHI11/25/2014 11:03:00 AM
Description: Bulls shooting guard Jimmy Butler scored a team-high 25 points against the Jazz Monday night.
Insight: This is great news for Butler owners as he did it despite the return of veterans Pau Gasol and Derrick Rose. We like where his game is headed and fantasy owners should keep starting him.

Insight: Young missed time due to the passing of his mother. He's seeing almost 32 mpg and averaging 14.3 ppg, 5.0 rpg, 1.6 apg, 1.6 spg. That's not quite as good as last season, but its a new team and it takes time to adapt.

Taj Gibson, PF, CHI11/22/2014 11:40:00 AM
Description: Bulls forward Taj Gibson sprained his left ankle on Friday for a third time since last spring.
Insight: Gibson will likely sit out longer with this sprain because the same injury keeps reoccuring. Gibson said he wants to be out there and play, but it is a long season and that he needs to rest and get healthy. That could help the value of Nikola Mirotic, who posted 24 points and 11 rebounds replacing Gibson on Friday, but Pau Gasol will play in front of Mirotic once he is healthy.
Nikola Mirotic, F, CHI11/22/2014 9:39:00 AM
Description: Bulls forward Nikola Mirotic replaced the injured Taj Gibson on Friday and scored a career-high 24 points with 11 rebounds, two assists and four 3-pointers in 35 minutes.
Insight: This makes Mirotic the hottest add in fantasy at the moment, but Gibson's X-rays were negative on his ankle, so do not get too hyped up because Mirotic's minutes aren't guaranteed. Mirotic would still be a nice add in standard leagues as long as owners don't drop a player of need.
Andre Iguodala, SF, GSW11/22/2014 9:23:00 AM
Description: Warriors small forward Andre Iguodala led Golden State with 17 points against the Jazz while coming off the bench on Friday.
Insight: Iguodala had his best game shooting, going 7-for-8 from the field and making both 3-pointers he took. He was able to turn in those numbers in 25 minutes, which is his season average. Iguodala should continue to see that kind of volume in minutes and shot attempts, but he obviously won't continue to make them at a 87.5 percent clip.
Anthony Davis, PF, NOP11/22/2014 9:20:00 AM
Description: Pelicans power forward Anthony Davis had a subpar night for his standards.
Insight: Davis scored 18 points and grabbed nine rebounds, which most players would take, but he averages 24.8 ppg and 11.2 rpg. He also had two assists, two blocks and a steal, which are right around or just below his averages. All that means is Davis is having a tremendous start to the season.

Kevin Love, F, CLE11/21/2014 10:52:00 PM
Description: Cavaliers power forward Kevin Love was pretty invisible in the Cleveland offense once again.
Insight: Love took just eight shots, which were fewer than LeBron James, Kyrie Irving and Anderson Varejao. Love had eight points. At least he also had eight rebounds too, but even that is short of his average.
Zach Randolph, F, MEM11/21/2014 10:36:00 PM
Description: Grizzlies power forward Zach Randolph scored 16 points and grabbed 16 rebounds on Friday.

Description: Trail Blazers small forward Nicolas Batum will start on Friday against the Bulls.
Insight: Batum returns after missing two weeks due to a knee bruise. He may have his minutes limited on Friday, but because he is such a big part of the Portland offense, he is still worth starting.
Giannis Antetokounmpo, G/F, MIL11/21/2014 8:00:00 PM
Description: Bucks Giannis Antetokounmpo will not play against the Raptors on Friday. UPDATE: He will play against the Raptors.

Description: Hawks small forward DeMarre Carroll is expected to play Friday against Detroit.
Insight: Carroll suffered the injury on Monday against the Knicks missed four games. He's played well when healthy averaging 12 ppg, 6.3 rpg, 1.5 apg. He may not start and may be on a minutes limit, so fantasy owners should wait a game to re-install him in their lineups.

Description: Knicks forward Andrea Bargnani injured his calf and hamstring during Friday's practice and will not play on Saturday.

Rudy Gay, F, SAC11/21/2014 9:30:00 AM
Description: Kings small forward Rudy Gay was questionable for Thursday's game against Chicago due right Achilles tendinitis, but played well.
Insight: Gay went 7-of-11 from the field for 20 points along with seven rebounds and three assists. We did see him with a heating pad on the foot in the second half, so he'll still have to be watched for upcoming games to make sure he's ready to go.
Jimmy Butler, G/F, CHI11/21/2014 9:20:00 AM
Description: Bulls shooting guard Jimmy Butler was called upon to score with Derrick Rose and Pau Gasol out of the lineup posting 23 points and eight rebounds, eight assists and two steals.

Blake Griffin, F, LAC11/20/2014 10:39:00 PM
Description: Clippers power forward Blake Griffin shot 12-of-18 as Los Angeles dominated Miami, 110-93, on Thursday.
Insight: Griffin finished with 26 points, and also had seven rebounds, four assists, and three steals. Those numbers are pretty much on par with his season averages; it was just impressive Griffin hit 67 percent of his shots.
Matt Barnes, SF, LAC11/20/2014 7:07:00 PM
Description: Clippers forward Matt Barnes will start on Thursday against the Heat.
Insight: Barnes has played well, scoring in double digits in two of the last three games, and looks to have won back his starting job. He has a favorable matchup versus the Heat, and if he remains in the lineup, he is worth picking up in standard leagues.
Jason Thompson, F, SAC11/20/2014 2:02:00 PM
Description: Kings forward Jason Thompson is probable for Thursday's game against Chicago with tightness in left quadriceps.
Insight: Thompson's game Tuesday, playing with the quad injury, was the best of the season - 15 points and nine rebounds.

Luol Deng, F, MIA11/20/2014 1:46:00 PM
Description: Heat forward Luol Deng did not play on Monday, but despite a doubtful tag practiced Thursday morning.
Insight: Owners should consider him a game-time decision for Thursday's game against the Clippers.
Danny Granger, SF, MIA11/20/2014 1:46:00 PM
Description: Heat shooting guard Danny Granger played 20 minutes Monday and could see that much time Thursday if Deng is again inactive.
Insight: Deng did practice at the morning shootaround and even with the 20 minutes Granger only managed four points, zero rebounds and assists. He's not fantasy worthy.
Giannis Antetokounmpo, G/F, MIL11/19/2014 10:59:00 PM
