For The Last 365 Days

Greg Oden, C5/30/2015 3:18:00 PM
Description: The Memphis Grizzlies have shown some interest in free agent center Greg Oden, according to realgm.com.
Insight: Why?
Marc Gasol, C5/16/2015 12:19:00 AM
Description: Grizzlies center Marc Gasol scored 21 points to lead Memphis in scoring during Game 6 of the Western Conference Semifinals on Friday.
Insight: Unfortunately, Memphis just didn't have enough deep shooting to stay in this series. Golden State outscored Memphis, 45-12, from behind the arc in Game 6. The 3-point shooting was lopsided in all four of Golden State's victories. Gasol is an unrestricted free agent this offseason, so he could have played his last game in Memphis.
Jeff Green, F5/13/2015 6:45:00 PM
Description: Grizzlies forward Jeff Green will start in Game 5 of the Western Conference Semifinals on Wednesday according to Marc Stein of ESPN.
Insight: Tony Allen is banged up, but this move is mostly due to the fact the Grizzlies need more offense. Memphis coach Dave Joerger said they will have to score more than 100 points to win another game in the series.
Zach Randolph, F5/9/2015 11:03:00 PM
Description: Grizzlies power forward Zach Randolph led the team with 22 points in the, 99-89, Game 3 victory over the Warriors in the Western Conference Semifinals on Saturday.
Insight: Randolph was 9-for-15 from the field overall and 4-of-4 at the line. He also had eight rebounds, three assists, and a steal. In the last two games versus Golden State, which were both victories for Memphis, the Grizzlies held the Warriors to 89.5 ppg. Randolph is averaging 14.0 ppg and 8.4 rpg this postseason.
Marc Gasol, C5/9/2015 10:57:00 PM
Description: Grizzlies center Marc Gasol had 21 points and 15 rebounds in Game 3 of the Western Conference Semifinals as Memphis beat Golden State, 99-89, on Saturday.

Mike Conley, G5/9/2015 12:40:00 PM
Description: Grizzlies guard Mike Conley will wear a different mask for Game 3 as the swelling has started to recede.
Insight: Given his 22-point performance in Game 2, a superstitious player would keep the same mask on. We guess Conley doesn't need luck, he's got great skills.
Zach Randolph, F5/6/2015 9:49:00 AM
Description: Grizzlies power forward Zach Randolph had 20 points and led the team with seven rebounds as Memphis beat Golden State, 97-90, in Game 2 of the Western Conference Semifinals on Tuesday.

Mike Conley, G5/6/2015 9:42:00 AM
Description: Grizzlies guard Mike Conley played outstanding in Game 2 of the Western Conference Semifinals versus the Warriors.
Insight: With Conley wearing a mask to protect his fractured face, all he needed was a cape to completely look like Superman because his play was certainly super. He led the Grizzlies with 22 points, shooting 8-for-12 from the field, including 3-of-6 at the 3-point line. He also had three assists. Memphis won, 97-90, and evened the series at one.
Mike Conley, G5/5/2015 10:31:00 PM
Description: Grizzlies guard Mike Conley will start in Game 2 versus the Warriors in the Western Conference Semifinals on Tuesday.
Insight: Conley still looks like he got punched in his left eye, but he will give it a go. Conley will be supporting the clear super hero mask. That's great news for the Memphis Grizzlies. The fact he is playing, not the mask.
Mike Conley, G5/5/2015 9:15:00 PM
Description: Grizzlies guard Mike Conley is going to try and play in Game 2 on Tuesday versus the Warriors according to NBA.com.
Insight: Memphis could still decide to sit Conley after warm ups, so check back before tip, but clearly Conley and the Grizzlies want him out there. The offense is much better when he plays, and Memphis would like to avoid falling behind Golden State, 2-0, in the series.
Mike Conley, G5/4/2015 6:21:00 PM
Description: Grizzlies guard Mike Conley said he will play in Game 2 of the Western Conference Semifinals against the Warriors.
Insight: Conley can barely see out of his eye since receiving surgery on his face. It might be just wishful thinking to believe he can play in Game 2, but there are three days off before Game 3 on Saturday, so perhaps he will suit up then. Memphis could certainly use him as they have their hands full with the league MVP and the rest of Golden State.
Mike Miller, G5/4/2015 6:18:00 PM
Description: Cavaliers wingman Mike Miller will start in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals on Monday.
Insight: Cleveland is without Kevin Love and J.R. Smith, so Miller and Iman Shumpert will start in Game 1. Miller is getting the nod over center Tristan Thompson. LeBron James played power forward a lot after Love left in Game 4 versus the Celtics, so that should continue. Neither Miller nor Shumpert are great fantasy options as Kyrie Irving will see the biggest increase in value due to the absence of Love and Smith.
Zach Randolph, F5/3/2015 6:34:00 PM
Description: Grizzlies power forward Zach Randolph had 20 points, nine rebounds and five assists in the, 101-86, loss to the Warriors in Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals on Sunday.

Description: Grizzlies power forward Zach Randolph had 19 points, shooting 9-for-17 in the, 95-86, victory over the Nets on Tuesday.
Insight: Randolph also had eight rebounds, three steals and an assist. As we have been saying, Randolph was a sell-high candidate at the end of January, and if owners didn't trade him yet, they missed their chance at the higest value. After averaging 19.3 ppg and 13.8 rpg in January, he is averaging just 14.6 ppg and 10.6 rpg in five February games.

As we thought here at The Sports Network, Randolph has slowed down his incredible January pace and has averaged 15.0 ppg and 12.6 rpg over the last five games. Owners will gladly still take those numbers.

Description: Grizzlies guard Mike Conley had 15 points and seven assists during Friday's loss against the Timberwolves.
Insight: He also had four boards, one 3-pointer, one steal, and three turnovers. Conley still does not seem to be completely healthy. The All-Star break will be much needed.

Description: Grizzlies guard Mike Conley is back in the lineup, but has accumulated just six assists over the three games since returning from a wrist injury.
Insight: Six assists against eight turnovers for a guy who averages 5.4 apg this season seems to indicate he's not completely healthy. At least he's scored 40 points over the last two games, so that part of his game is ready.
Marc Gasol, C2/3/2015 9:18:00 AM
Description: Memphis center Marc Gasol blocked the Suns final shot attempt as the Grizzlies held on to a, 102-101, victory.
Insight: That was Gasol's third block of the game. He didn't shoot well, going 4-of-11 from the field, but he did turn in 15 points, eight assists and six rebounds in addition to the three blocks. Gasol was also 7-for-8 at the line.

James Johnson, F1/30/2015 6:26:00 PM
Description: Raptors power forward James Johnson will not play on Friday versus the Nets due to a hamstring injury.
Insight: Johnson hasn't played much this week, but that could be because DeMar DeRozan is back in the lineup. He isn't worth owning with DeRozan back.
Jeff Green, F1/29/2015 10:37:00 PM
Description: Grizzlies forward Jeff Green was 4-for-9 from the field, going 2-of-6 from the 3-point line on Thursday.

Description: Grizzlies guard Mike Conley dress, but didn't play on Tuesday and is questionable for Thursday's game against Denver.
Insight: Beno Udrih started Tuesday's game and would likely get another start if Conley can't play, but Udrih has yet to prove he's fantasy worthy. Nick Calathes, Courtney Lee and Vince Carter all saw a boost in their production Tuesday.
