Insight: Tarvis Jackson beat him out for the backup job behind Russell Wilson. Pryor should have many suitors with his unique physical ability. He completed 21-of-39 passes for 281 yards, one touchdown and two picks. He also ran for 97 yards and a touchdown.
Description: Philadelphia point guard Michael Carter-Williams (shoulder surgery) has not yet been cleared for five-on-five workouts with contact, according to 76ers GM Sam Hinkie.
Insight: Carter-Williams had surgery over the offseason to repair his left shoulder. He missed 12 games his rookie season, but won the Rookie of the Year with averages of 16.7 points, 0.8 3-pointers, 6.2 rebounds, 6.3 assists and 1.9 steals per game. If he can stay healthy, he should be a reliable point guard option especially in leagues that have no penalty for turnovers.
Description: The Timberwolves have acquired Thaddeus Young as part of a three-team trade with Cleveland and Philadelphia.
Insight: Minnesota did a good job to get Andrew Wiggins, Anthony Bennett and Young for Kevin Love, who made it known that he was leaving in free agency anyway. Young was an underrated fantasy option last season, averaging 17.9 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.1 threes, 2.1 steals (third in the NBA) and 0.5 blocks per game. He\'ll start for the \'Wolves and should be the top offensive option as the team tries to replace Love\'s 26.1 points and 12.5 rebounds per game.
Description: Left wing Clarke MacArthur and the Senators have come to terms on a five-year extension.
Insight: MacArthur went on to tell the Ottawa Sun that he will not change the way he plays the game. "Just because I\'ve got a five-year deal, that doesn\'t mean I need to change a whole lot. I kind of want to play the same game. I want to play good in both ends." MacArthur had 24 goals and 31 assists in his first season in Ottawa last year.
