Description: Winnipeg goalie Ondrej Pavelec stopped 25-of-27 shots in Friday's 2-0 loss to Nashville.
Insight: He played well but was outdone by his counterpart, Pekka Rinne. Pavelec is a second goaltender on fantasy teams, at best, as he is playing for a team unlikely to make a playoff push.

Description: Winnipeg goalie Ondrej Pavelec will miss Monday's game against St. Louis with a lower body injury.
Insight: Pavelec was expected to miss at least two games with the injury and this is No. 2. Al Montoya (7-2 win over Dallas on Sunday) should get another start with recently called up Michael Hutchinson as backup.
11/8/2013 10:49:00 PM
Description: Winnipeg goalie Ondrej Pavelec had a 41-save shutout Friday against the Predators.
Insight: Pavelec has been a below-average fantasy netminder throughout his career. He came into Friday's game 4-7-2 with a 3.09 GAA and a .902 SV%. Avoid him.
4/18/2013 6:30:00 PM
Description: Winnipeg goalie Ondrej Pavelec will start Thursday's game against the Carolina Hurricanes.
Insight: Pavelec has been an average to below-average netminder in all four months, but he does have a 2.36 GAA and .928 SV% in three starts against Carolina this season.

Description: Winnipeg netminder Ondrej Pavelec sticked aside 38 of 39 shots Tuesday against the Hurricanes to pick up his 15th win of the season.
Insight: Pavelec (15-14-2, 2.75 GAA) isn't a great fantasy option but you could certainly do worse.
2/15/2013 4:40:00 PM
Description: Jets goaltender Ondrej Pavelec will return to the net Friday against the Penguins for his first start since Feb. 7.
Insight: Pavelec was sidelined with the flu over the weekend and watched as Al Montoya shut out Ottawa to earn another start. However, Montoya left Tuesday's game with an injury and has been placed on injured reserve, leaving Pavelec with no discernible competition.
2/12/2013 1:59:00 PM
Description: Jets goaltender Ondrej Pavelec is probable for Tuesday's game against Philadelphia while recovering from flu-like symptoms.
Insight: Pavelec is 3-5-1 with a 3.28 GAA and .885 save percentage. Al Montoya started Saturday and improved to 2-0-0 with a 2.68 GAA and .899 save percentage. His shutout of Ottawa could have earned another start for Tuesday.
Cold2/5/2013 5:56:00 PM
Description: Jets goaltender Ondrej Pavelec has had four days to think about his abysmal effort Friday against the Lightning -- 25 minutes, 5 GA. He'll try to rebound Tuesday on the road against Florida.
Insight: Pavelec has allowed 14 goals over his last three starts but the team won't turn to Al Montoya anytime soon after giving Pavelec a five-year contract in the offseason.
Cold2/1/2013 10:57:00 PM
Description: Jets goaltender Ondrej Pavelec was tagged for five goals on 14 shots in just 25 minutes Friday night against the Lightning.
Insight: That will hurt the old GAA. Pavelec only gave up nine goals over his first four starts but he's let in 14 in 143 minutes over his last three. He shouldn't be used in any leagues until further notice.

Description: Jets goaltender Ondrej Pavelec will start his fifth game of the season Tuesday against the red-hot Canadiens.

Description: Jets goaltender Ondrej Pavelec shut down Washington on Tuesday, allowing two goals on 34 attempts in 60 minutes in a 4-2 win.

1/22/2013 5:41:00 PM
Description: The Jets will go with Ondrej Pavelec between the pipes again on Tuesday.
Insight: Pavelec has saved 92.2 percent with a 2.40 GAA over his first two games but hasn't won either of them due to Winnipeg providing him just two goals in 125 minutes of play. It doesn't seem like backup Al Montoya is going to get much playing time this season, which gives Pavelec more value.

Description: Ondrej Pavelec stopped all 27 shots he faced in the Jets' 4-0 win over Montreal on Thursday. TSN
Insight: Pavelec's shutout was his third of the season. Following the Jets' 3-2 shootout loss to the Islanders on Tuesday, Pavelec criticized his teammates for not driving to the other team's net. Jets' head coach Claude Noel affirmed Pavelec's statement, saying that he was the main reason the team earned a point in that game. Obviously his team heard the message, as he was provided with more goal support against a struggling Habs team.
