A tremendously talented interior defensive lineman who was dismissed from the Florida roster because of disciplinary problems midway through his senior season...In 41 games for the Gators, including 31 starts, Thomas racked up 157 tackles, including 14 sacks...Thomas also blocked a pair of kicks, proof of his power and quickness...Taller and more lean than the average nose guard, Thomas is much more than just a space-filler who can eat blocks...Has long arms and is explosive in close...Plays hard from snap to whistle and can chase down ball carriers before they reach the secondary...Gets consistent penetration into the backfield...Does not possess a large arsenal of pass rush moves...Has not shown the ability to beat double teams...A bit of a risk with a high potential for reward.
