NBA DRAFT ANALYSIS: Playing in the Western Athletic Conference with Louisiana Tech, Millsap went largely unnoticed by many NCAA basketball fans despite his amazing accomplishments with the Bulldogs...Became the first player in NCAA history to lead the nation in rebounding three straight years after clearing 13.3 boards per contest as a junior last year...Pulled down 12.5 rpg in 2003-04, becoming the first freshman in WAC history to lead the country on the boards...By winning the rebounding title in 2004-05 as well, Millsap became the first player in history to claim consecutive rebounding titles and was the first since early 1970`s to lead the NCAA in back-to-back seasons regardless of class...Leaves LaTech as the school`s second-leading rebounder with 1,172 and was seventh in scoring with 1,708 points as well...Earned honorable mention All-American from AP as a junior and had a stretch of 42 straight games in which he scored 20 or more points while recording a total of 69 double-doubles for his abbreviated career...Millsap was named to the All-WAC First Team last year as well as the All-Defensive Team...Recorded the second-highest rebounding total for a single game last year with 28 boards versus San Jose State and also cleared 23 rebounds versus Hawaii in March...Named WAC Freshman of the Year and Second-Team All-WAC in 2003-04...Is generously listed at 6-8 and plays much bigger than his size would indicate.
