MLB Game Summary - Philadelphia at Baltimore

(Wednesday, March 12th)

Final Score: Philadelphia 6, Baltimore 5

Sarasota, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - The Phillies had scored just one run in each of their previous three games when Domonic Brown ripped a three-run triple in the first inning Wednesday, leading Philadelphia to a 6-5 win over the Baltimore Orioles in spring training.

Freddy Galvis added an RBI triple in the second inning and Maikel Franco and Ben Revere each knocked in a run in the fourth to back four-plus innings by A.J. Burnett.

The Phillies right-hander was pulled after giving up a two-run homer to Nolan Reimold with no outs in the fifth inning. He gave up three runs on four hits and a walk.

The Phillies knocked around Baltimore righty Ubaldo Jimenez for four hits and four runs and drew three walks off him.

Alex Gonzalez hit a two-run homer with two outs in the ninth and Reimold drew a walk to put the tying run on base for the Orioles, but Cesar Jimenez got Xavier Paul to pop out, ending the game and giving the lefty a two-inning save.
