St. Louis, MO (Sports Network) - The St. Louis Blues signed center Maxim Lapierre to a two-year contract on Friday.
The eight-year veteran had spent the past two-plus seasons with the Vancouver Canucks and had totaled four goals and 10 points in 48 games last season.
A second-round pick of Montreal in 2003, he has totaled 54 goals and 59 assists in 463 games with Montreal, Anaheim and Vancouver. He has also scored six goals with seven assists in 69 playoff tilts.
