Description: Ronny Turiaf's bone bruise could cost him up to three weeks. The T-Wolves center injured his knee Wednesday against the Pacers. SOURCE: Andy Greder, St. Paul Pioneer Press
Insight: Minnesota is now down two centers and may resort to starting Gorgui Dieng (1.3 ppg, 2.1 rpg) at the five Saturday against Utah. The good news for Minnesota is that Nikola Pekovic (ankle injury) shouldn't be on the shelf for too much longer.

2/20/2014 2:41:00 PM
Description: Minnesota PF/C Ronny Turiaf injured his knee Wednesday night and was not at Thursday's practice according to Timberwolves.com.
Insight: Turiaf (4.1 ppg, 5.7 rpg, 1.7 bpg) has been starting at center in place of Nikola Pekovic. His lack of scoring makes him a difficult player to own in fantasy.

2/12/2014 10:44:00 PM
Description: Minnesota PF/C Ronny Turiaf has grabbed at least 10 boards in three straight games.
Insight: Turiaf has rejected 22 shots in his last seven games (3.1 bpg) while playing 27.3 minutes per game in that span. He has been starting in place of Nikola Pekovic (out until after the All-Star break with ankle bursitis).

1/31/2014 11:08:00 AM
Description: Minnesota PF/C Ronny Turiaf has been the benificiary of Nikola Pekovic's injury, seeing 32 and 26 minutes over the past two games.
Insight: That's the good news. The bad news is that he hasn't done much with it averaging 9.0 ppg and 7.5 rpg.

1/6/2014 10:14:00 AM
Description: Minnesota PF/C Ronny Turiaf (elbow) has been involved in some limited full contact work and may be back soon.
Insight: Turiaf doesn't provide much for fantasy owners. He's not a scorer, doesn't rebound much and provides the occasional block, but needless to say, he won't be a fantasy option in 2014.

7/18/2013 9:42:00 PM
Description: Jerry Zgoda of the Star Tribune reports Ronny Turiaf has signed a two-year, $3.2 million deal with the Timberwolves.
Insight: Turiaf has now played for seven teams in his last seven seasons. The journeyman averaged just 1.9 ppg backing up DeAndre Jordan last year in Los Angeles. Needless to say, he won't be a fantasy option in 2013-14.

3/26/2013 1:40:00 PM
Description: Clippers backup center Ronny Turiaf is probable for Tuesday's game against Dallas with a sore left knee which has forced him to watch the last four games from the sidelines.
Insight: Turiaf has no fantasy value, but his absence helps C DeAndre Jordan and PF Lamar Odom build their statistics.

3/18/2013 10:55:00 AM
Description: Clippers backup center Ronny Turiaf is questionable for Tuesday's game against Sacramento with a sore left knee which also kept him out of Sunday's game with the Knicks.
Insight: Turiaf has no fantasy value, but his absence helps C DeAndre Jordan and PF Lamar Odom build their statistics.

7/27/2012 10:11:00 PM
Description: Center Ronny Turiaf has signed with the Los Angeles Clippers.
Insight: Turiaf was a part of Miami's championship squad this past season but his role with the team didn't amount to much statistical significance (3.5 pgg, 4.5 rpg in 15 games for Miami in 2011-12). Turiaf will serve as DeAndre Jordan's backup in Los Angeles next season and probably won't see enough minutes to be a consistent fantasy contributor.

5/15/2012 10:32:00 PM
Description: Ronny Turiaf started in place of Chris Bosh Tuesday night in Miami's Game 2 loss to Indiana. He finished with three points and two rebounds in 13 minutes of action.
Insight: The Heat ended up turning mostly to Joel Anthony (zero points, six rebounds in 35 minutes) late in the game but neither player was particularly effective. If this is the kind of production Miami is going to get from the power forward position going forward, this could be the last series the Heat play in in this year's playoffs.

5/14/2012 8:57:00 PM
Description: Ronny Turiaf is the most likely candidate to take Chris Bosh's place in the starting lineup Tuesday night in Game 2 against Indiana.
Insight: Turiaf had four points and three rebounds in 10 minutes against the Pacers on Sunday. There's absolutely nothing fantasy-worthy about Turiaf but he might be the best option Miami has with Bosh injured.

4/16/2012 6:38:00 PM
Description: Ronny Turiaf won't play Monday night against New Jersey. He's dealing with a hamstring injury.
Insight: Turiaf has now missed Miami's last three games. Expect Udonis Haslem (6 ppg, 7.1 rpg) to continue to start at center for the Heat until Turiaf returns.

4/13/2012 7:25:00 PM
Description: A hand injury will prevent Ronny Turiaf from suiting up Friday against Charlotte.
Insight: Turiaf was scoreless in 30 minutes Thursday night against the Bulls. With Udonis Haslem also unable to play tonight, expect Joel Anthony to return to the Heat's starting five.

4/3/2012 7:03:00 PM
Description: Ronny Turiaf will get the start Tuesday night against the 76ers instead of the Heat's usual starting center Joel Anthony.
Insight: Erik Spoelstra is shaking things up. Turiaf has showed some nice hustle in his first couple of weeks with the Heat but that hasn't really translated into much fantasy production (3.2 ppg in his last five contests).

3/21/2012 9:59:00 PM
Description: Ronny Turiaf ended his week-long free agency by signing with the Heat Wednesday.
Insight: Turiaf, who hasn't played in a game since January 1st, could help Miami on defense, but he won't play enough minutes to help you in any major fantasy categories. If you need center help, keep looking.

4/21/2011 2:57:00 PM
Description: Ronny Turiaf will notbe able to give it a go for Game 3. SOURCE: Newsday
Insight: Turiaf was aggressive on the glass, but as long as Stoudemire is close to 100 percent, he will not be needed. Jared Jeffries played above what we've become accustom to and he will need to step it up again.

1/19/2011 12:41:00 PM
Description: Ronny Turiaf will play tonight and will come off the bench. SOURCE: Newsday
Insight: Turiaf loses some value now that Gallo is back, but is a target for deep league owners seeking a center.

1/12/2011 12:39:00 AM
Description: Ronny Turiaf had a man-sized game with 19 points, 10 boards, three steals, and two blocks as he helped the Knicks cruise to the road win at Portland.
Insight: Danilo Gallinari should be back very soon which puts a time limit on Turiaf producing lines like this one. He is a great shot blocker and D'Antoni could fall in love with the way he hustles rather quickly. However, fantasy owners should not cut any player with moderate value for him.

11/27/2010 3:20:00 PM
Description: Ronny Turiaf could not finish the game on Saturday due to a knee injury.
Insight: The Knicks went small for most of the second half by playing Wilson Chandler at the four and STAT at the five. Timofey Mozgov got some minutes as well to chip in with five points, six boards, and three blocks. It's unlikely that Ronny will suit up on Sunday, which makes Timmy a premium spot-start for owners seeking some last minute blocks.

11/20/2010 4:01:00 PM
Description: Starting at center Friday night for the Knicks, Turiaf scored seven points, grabbed four boards, and even had eight assists. He also blocked three shots against the Warriors.
Insight: Turiaf is a good add in deeper leagues for teams that need help in the blocks category. (RapidDraft.com)
