With the fantasy football season just two weeks old, there is no doubt that the owners who have a record of 0-2, are beginning to panic just... Full Story | Player Stats: LacyThomasWoodhead

Matt Asiata, RB, MINHot9/16/2014 6:31:00 PM
Description: ProFootballTalk reports that it should not be a surprise if the Vikings reverse their decision to activate running back Adrian Peterson for Week 3. Insight: That means Matt Asiata has a decent chance to start again against New Orleans. He rushed 13 times fo 36 yards and caught five passes for 48 yards with a touchdown versus New England in Week 2. In a pinch, he is a viable FLEX or RB2 option in 12 or 14 team leagues.
Adrian Peterson, RB, MIN9/16/2014 6:24:00 PM
Description: Profootballtalk reports the Vikings could still reverse the decision to reinstate running back Adrian Peterson. Insight: Although it is extremely unlikely Minnesota releases Peterson like Baltimore did to Ray Rice, the call for Peterson\'s head in the press will not be ignored. The governor of Minnesota is calling for "All Day" to be suspended and Radisson suspended its sponorship of the Vikings due to Peterson\'s indictment for child abuse. Do not drop Matt Asiata yet as there is at least a 50/50 chance that Peterson will again be inactive in Week 3.

 Alex Avila, C, DET9/17/2014 4:48:00 PM
Description: Tigers catcher Alex Avila (head) is still not in the lineup for Detroit on Wednesday.  Insight: He took a foul ball off his mask Sunday, and with a history of concussion problems, Detroit is not taking any chances. Bryan Holaday will continue to handle the catching duties during Avila\'s absence.
 Mark Teixeira, 1B, NYY9/17/2014 4:35:00 PM
Description: Yankees first baseman Mark Teixeira is back in the starting lineup on Wednesday against the Rays. Insight: Teixeira is dealing with lingering wrist discomfort. It used to be you could count on him for 30 homers like clockwork, but he hit 24 last season and has 21 so far this year.

Greg Monroe, PF, DET9/9/2014 2:49:00 PM
Description: Detroit PF/C Greg Monroe has been suspended for two games after pleading guilty to a DUI. Insight: The loss of two games shouldn\'t change his fantasy value over an 82-game schedule. He averaged 15.2 ppg, 9.3 rpg and 2.1 apg last season. Monroe\'s season debut is now Nov 1 against the Brooklyn Nets.
 Derrick Rose, G, CHI9/3/2014 12:31:00 PM
Description: Bulls point guard Derrick Rose is planning on playing in three games over three days for Team USA. Insight: This is a nice test for fantasy owners for whether Rose will be able to withstand an NBA schedule or whether he\'ll need off games in back-to-backs like Dwyane Wade did last season.

 Steve Mason, G, PHI8/21/2014 1:56:00 PM
Description: Flyers goalie Steve Mason (finger) returned to the ice this week after not skating the past three weeks according to the Philadelphia Daily News. Insight: He suffered a broken pinky finger while playing ball hockey, but Mason should be ready for training camp. He posted a 33-18 record with a 2.50 goals against average in 61 games last year.
Clarke MacArthur, LW, OTT8/21/2014 1:48:00 PM
Description: Left wing Clarke MacArthur and the Senators have come to terms on a five-year extension. Insight: MacArthur went on to tell the Ottawa Sun that he will not change the way he plays the game. "Just because I\'ve got a five-year deal, that doesn\'t mean I need to change a whole lot. I kind of want to play the same game. I want to play good in both ends." MacArthur had 24 goals and 31 assists in his first season in Ottawa last year.
