Description: Rangers C/1B J.P. Arencibia went 4-for-5 with two doubles, two homers and seven RBI Tuesday against the Yankees and he has a good matchup Wednesday against Hiroki Kuroda.
Insight: Arencibia is 9-for-24 (.375) with three doubles and a homer against Kuroda. He's faced the Yankees in six of his last nine games and hit four home runs against them.

Insight: Castro hit .276 with 35 doubles, 18 homers and an .835 OPS in 435 at-bats last season, but he's failed to follow that up with a fantasy-worthy campaign. He's hit .226 with 10 home runs, 40 RBI and a .679 OPS.

Description: Phillies catcher Carlos Ruiz has gone 8-for-16 (.500) with four doubles in four games since he returned from a concussion.
Insight: Ruiz sat out close to a month with the injury. He went 4-for-4 Monday at New York and is hitting .272 with two homers, 16 RBI and a .757 OPS in 246 at-bats.

Insight: d'Arnaud has gone 29-for-96 (.302) with seven doubles, a triple, four homers, 16 RBI and 13 runs in 25 games since he returned from the minors on June 24.

Insight: Zunino has hit 15 homers this season, but he's batting just .209 with 37 RBI, 36 runs and a .677 OPS. Catcher is a weak fantasy position, but you can probably do better.

Insight: Gomes has hit .439 with three home runs in his last 12 games. Between Gomes and Carlos Santana, the Indians have two catchers who rank in the top five at the position in home runs.

Description: Yankees catcher Francisco Cervelli has started eight straight games and hit safely in all of them.
Insight: Cervelli went 1-for-4 with his first homer of the season Sunday. He's been seeing a lot of time because Brian McCann has had to play first base with Mark Teixeira out. He'll likely move back to the bench when Teixeira returns Tuesday or Wednesday, though he could be a trade target for catcher-needy teams.

Description: Colorado catcher Wilin Rosario is 8-for-20 (.400) with two homers in his career against Pirates starter Edinson Volquez.
Insight: Rosario's numbers (.238, 9 HR, 36 RBI) are well off from last season (.292, 21 HR, 79 RBI) because he's batted just .180 with a .545 OPS on the road. The good news is that Sunday's game is at Coors Field and Volquez will start against Colorado.

Insight: It's just a routine day off for the catcher. Tuffy Gosewisch will get the start, but has zero fantasy value.

Insight: Just a routine day off after a night game. Zunino isn't batting for a high average (.202), but has knocked out 14 homers with 36 RBI this season.

Insight: Pierzynski was cut by the Red Sox earlier this month after hitting .254 with just four homers, 31 RBI and a .634 OPS. He batted .272 with 17 homers, 70 RBI and a .722 OPS a season ago with the Rangers. With Yadier Molina (thumb) out, Pierzynski should see most of the starts behind the dish for St. Louis, but he's not an option in standard leagues.

Description: Catcher A.J. Pierzynski has signed with the Cardinals and will join the team Saturday, according to Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports.
Insight: Pierzynski was cut by the Red Sox earlier this month after hitting .254 with just four homers, 31 RBI and a .634 OPS. He batted .272 with 17 homers, 70 RBI and a .722 OPS a season ago with the Rangers. With Yadier Molina (thumb) out, Pierzynski should see most of the starts behind the dish for St. Louis, but he's not an option in standard leagues.

Insight: Montero hasn't homered since June 28, but he's still knocking in runs and has 58 RBI for the season. If the top of the order can get on base Friday, Montero should be able to add to his total.

Insight: The 27-year-old Posey's numbers are down a bit this season, but he's still an top-tier fantasy catcher batting .284 with 11 home runs and 53 RBI.

Insight: Ruiz (.257, 2 HR, 14 RBI) suffered a concussion on June 26 when he was hit in the head by a pitch. He should be back early next week at the latest provided he doesn't have a recurrence of symptoms.
