Description: According to the Pewter Report, Barber wants to return for 2010.
Insight: Barber's age (35) as he enters his 14th NFL season in 2010 doesn't seem to fit with Tampa Bay's youth movement, but he has had a decent 2009 season (66 tackles, two sacks) and clearly has something left. (SportsBuff.com)

Description: Pro Football Weekly reports that Barber will play a decreased role for the Bucs in 2009.
Insight: Barber will turn 34 in April, but he had a much more productive season in 2008 than he did the year before. Tampa figures to try to get Aqib Talib more playing time and is reportedly trying to re-sign Philip Buchanon. Both (or some other corner to be added) will have to play up to their talent levels to allow for Barber to spend more time on the sideline. (SportsBuff.com)
