Insight: Lewis lost his last two starts despite allowing just four runs in 14 2/3 innings. The right-hander lowered his ERA to 3.13 and his WHIP to a career-low 1.03 Tuesday. A major factor of Lewis' success has been his improved control this season. He's walked only 11 batters in 89 innings.

Insight: He had been 0-3 with a 6.54 ERA in his previous three starts so fantasy owners must be pleased to see Lewis climb out of his recent funk. The 121 pitches were the most Lewis (4-3) has thrown in any of his nine starts this season. His ERA dropped from 3.63 to 3.30 after Sunday's outing.

Description: Make it two tough outings in a row for Colby Lewis. The Texas righthander gave up five home runs in seven innings Thursday in a loss to the Orioles.
Insight: What a bizarre afternoon for the 32-year-old. Despite giving up six runs, Lewis retired 18 batters in a row at one point in this game and produced a season-high in strikeouts with 12. If Lewis had just been able to keep the ball in the stadium, this could have actually been a pretty decent outing.

Insight: Lewis came in having thrown five straight quality starts to begin the season, giving up two earned runs or less in each of them. After Cleveland knocked him around, his ERA rose by more than a run, from 1.93 to 2.97. Lewis' expected fielding independent pitching (xFIP) was 3.74 prior to this start, so expect his ERA to regress closer to that number as the season goes on.
