Description: Browns running back Willis McGahee (concussion) has been cleared to play, according to Scott Petrak of chroniclet.com.
Insight: McGahee is averaging just 2.7 yards per carry this season and will return to a committee. Edwin Baker had 38 yards and a touchdown on eight carries in Week 15 against the Bears after being signed off Houston\'s practice squad and could remained involved in the offense, but no Browns RB is worth playing in Week 16 against the Jets.
Description: Orlando power forward Glen Davis tweaked his left knee during Wednesday\'s contest and went to the locker room, but he started the second half, according to Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel.
Insight: Davis suffered the injury after he landed while contesting a shot but he appears to be fine.
Description: Detroit guard Rodney Stuckey (shoulder) is not active Wednesday, according to Vincent Goodwill of the Detroit News.
Insight: He was clearly affected by a shoulder injury in Monday\'s win over Indiana (two points in 16 minutes). Detroit is using a mix of Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Chauncey Billups and Kyle Singler at shooting guard.
Description: Flyers center Vincent Lecavalier is encouraged with his progress but he is still 2-3 weeks away, according to Tim Panaccio of csnphilly.com.
Insight: The 33-year-old is out with a non-displaced fracture in his back. Lecavalier was given a 3-4 week timetable on Dec. 8 and appears to be on schedule. He has nine goals, 14 points, 19 PIM, 49 SOG and seven PPP in 22 games this season, his first with Philadelphia after spending his entire career in Tampa Bay.
Description: Minnesota dealt utility man Ryan Doumit to the Braves on Wednesday. SOURCE: Jeff Passan, Yahoo Sports
Insight: Doumit\'s greatest asset is that he\'s still eligible at catcher though he spent the majority of last season as a DH. The jack of all trades has also started at first base and both corner outfield positions. He\'ll be a low-risk, high-reward fantasy option in 2014.
Description: The Diamondbacks were able to re-sign third baseman Eric Chavez on Wednesday. SOURCE: Jon Heyman, CBS Sports
Insight: It\'s believed to be a one-year deal though terms of the contract haven\'t been released yet. Chavez was a trendy pick in fantasy leagues last season after batting .303 in the first half, though he only managed to hit .241 the rest of the way. We\'d expect some regression in 2014.
