2009-10 Final Shooting Guard Rankings

Dwyane Wade finished the regular season fifth in scoring.
Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Miami's superstar guard Dwyane Wade wins the 2009-10 TSN Fantasy Shooting Guard Award, barely edging out Lakers guard Kobe Bryant for the title.

Wade led his Heat team to a 47-35 record by contributing in every facet of the game and it showed in his contributions to all fantasy categories. He finished the regular season fifth in scoring. In the one-on-one matchup with runner-up Bryant, Wade won four categories and Kobe won four...it was that close.

The 2009-10 TSN "Best Bargain Award" goes to Sacramento rookie guard Tyreke Evans. The rookie averaged 20.0 ppg, 5.3 rpg and 5.8 apg, a standard which has rarely been reached by rookies. The last 20-5-5 rookie was LeBron James in 2003-04.

The unfortunate "winner" of the 2009-10 TSN "Most Disappointing Award" goes to Orlando guard Vince Carter. Carter's 2009-10 production dropped in seven of the eight fantasy categories. Some of this can be attributed to playing six minutes-per-game less than he had in New Jersey last season, but he just didn't play as well when he was in there and he certainly wasn't worth the third-round pick (ADP 27) used for him on Draft Day.
