Insight: Kane skated off the ice favoring his shoulder. Chris Kuc of the Chicago Tribune tweeted he may have a broken collarbone, but he made it clear that has not been confirmed. He also reported Kane will miss more than six weeks and maybe as many as 10 weeks. ESPN also confirmed Kane will be out six to 10 weeks. Not good news for a guy who came into Tuesday as the leader in points.

Insight: Chicago never led in the game, but they did score twice within a minute of Detroit taking the lead. Crawford allowed two of three shootout attempts to slip past him, so the Red Wings won, 3-2.
Description: Blackhawks defenseman Niklas Hjalmarsson scored Chicago's only goal in the, 2-1, shootout victory over the Penguins on Sunday.
Insight: Chicago won a faceoff in the offensive zone early in the second period, and Hjalmarsson released a nasty, knuckling slap shot that beat Marc-Andre Fleury. Hjalmarsson, however, isn't fantasy relevant being that was just his second goal of the season.

Insight: Crawford struggled in the shootout, allowing two goals, but he did stop Kris Letang's attempt, and the Blackhawks converted all three of their shootout attempts. Chicago won, 2-1. Crawford is 23-12-3 this season.

Insight: Versteeg has been out since Jan. 1 with a hand injury. He was supposed to be out four weeks, but coach Joel Quenneville said Wednesday that, "It's probably going to be a little bit more than that."
Description: Blackhawks right wing Marian Hossa had a goal and an assist in the victory over his former team on Wednesday.
Insight: Hossa only spent a few months in Pittsburgh, but the fans remember. Hossa did quiet the crowd at Consol Engery Center on Wednesday with an assist on David Rundblad's goal in the first period, and then Hossa scored a power-play goal in the second period. Chicago won in a shootout.
Description: Blackhawks center Teuvo Teravainen had a goal and an assist against the Coyotes on Tuesday.
Insight: This was Teravainen's first multi-point game of his career. Teravainen was plus-two with shots on net. He has tremendous potential, but owners should continue to wait-and-see if he is worth adding in standard redraft leagues.

Insight: Shaw found the back of the net in the first and second periods. His first goal came on passes from Teuvo Teravainen and Bryan Bickell, and Duncan Keith received the helper on the second goal. Shaw amassed an incredible eight shots on net versus Arizona. Shaw has eight goals and six assists in 43 games this season.

Insight: Chicago plays Wednesday night as well, with Corey Crawford likely starting that contest against Pittsburgh. Raanta is an intriguing daily option, as he owns a 6-3-0 record with a 1.96 GAA and .934 save percentage.

Insight: Blackhawks fans have been waiting for Teravainen to make an impact at the NHL level. Although the 20-year-old has potential, he isn't worth picking up in standard leagues. Perhaps he is worth a look in dynasty leagues.

Insight: Crawford stopped 25-of-27 shots in regulation and overtime, then turned aside all three Lightning shootout attempts. Patrick Kane scored in the shootout, and Chicago won, 3-2. Crawford is now 6-3-1.

Insight: Richards tied the game at one with a score at the 9:13 mark of the second period. Kris Versteeg and Brandon Saad had the assists. Chicago went on to win in a shootout due to Patrick Kane's shootout goal.

Insight: Kane had an assist on Patrick Sharp's goal in the third period that tied the game with less than 10 minutes remaining in regulation. Kane was Chicago's second shooter in the shootout and easily put his shot past Stars goalie Kari Lehtonen. Chicago won, 3-2.

Insight: He had 78 points (34 goals, 44 assists) in 2013-14, and just like most members on the Blackhawks, should be able to produce similar numbers. Sharp should be taken no later than the third round.

Insight: He will begin the season on the Blackhawks top line, and after coming off a 47-point season in 2013-14, could be in line for a career-year. At 22-years-old, Saad should be a sleeper on owners' radars.

Insight: He is coming off a 51-point season with the Rangers, and really should improve upon those numbers, as he will be playing alongside Patrick Sharp and Patrick Kane. Expect around 60 points for Richards, in 2014-15.
