Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) - Blake Griffin tallied 26 points and 10 rebounds in the Los Angeles Clippers' 101-80 rout of the Chicago Bulls.
Jamal Crawford added 22 points off the bench for the Clippers, who have won five straight games and are off to their best start since the 2005-06 team came one win shy of the Western Conference finals.
"It's all about doing what we've worked on, I thought we did a good job defensively. If we play good d, the scoring will come," Griffin said.
Chris Paul dished out 10 assists in the win.
Carlos Boozer registered 22 points and 12 boards for the Bulls, who have alternated wins and losses over their last eight contests.
Los Angeles led, 18-15, after a quarter of play before the Clippers used a 24-13 swing in the second frame to seize control.
Crawford had 17 points during the surge and capped it after nailing all three of his free throws after being fouled on a 3-point attempt.
"The second quarter was the difference in the game," Chicago head coach Tom Thibodeau said. "The tone of the game changed. Our turnovers and their blocked shots got us."
The free throws gave Los Angeles a 50-32 advantage before the hosts took a 53-40 lead into the locker room.
The Clippers opened the second half on a 7-0 spurt and Griffin's jumper gave the hosts their largest margin of the contest at 71-48.
Los Angeles took a 78-61 edge into the fourth.
The Clippers shot 49.3 percent (37-of-75) from the field, while Chicago finished 33.7 percent (30-of-89) from the floor ... The Clippers tallied 26 fast break points.
