Insight: Syndergaard's ERA is down to 3.58 in 37 2/3 innings this season after he got off to an inconsistent start. MLB.com ranks Syndergaard as the No. 10 prospect in all of baseball. The Mets will probably call him up in the summer like they did with Matt Harvey in 2012 and Zack Wheeler in 2013.

Insight: Syndergaard had a 3.06 ERA and a terrific 133/28 K/BB in 117 2/3 innings in the minors last season (Double-A and Class-A Advanced). The Mets will probably take the same path with him that they did with Matt Harvey in 2012 and Zack Wheeler in 2013, calling him up in June or later.

Description: Mets pitching prospect nearly made the big club this spring, but he struggled a bit at Triple-A Las Vegas in his first two outings.
Insight: He's given up 12 hits and three walks in 11 innings pitched (4.09 ERA, 1.363 WHIP), but he's got great stuff and a bright future. Other teams have asked for him in shortstop trade talks, but so far the Mets have resisted.
