Best NBA Fantasy Game of the Year

LeBron James posted the best single-game performance of the season.
Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - It's getting near the end of the NBA fantasy season and the die is likely already cast as to where you will finish, so it's time to start looking back on the basketball year.

Today, we will look for the best fantasy performances in a single game.

On February 18, 2010 in a game against the Denver Nuggets, LeBron James posted the best single-game performance of the season, albeit in a losing effort. In a 118-116 overtime loss, James played 47 minutes scoring 43 points. He added double figure rebounds (13) and assists (15), had two steals and four blocked shots. His only failing was shooting 1-for-9 from three-point range. Still, you can hardly ask for a better performance and in fact as you can see below, no one could.

David Lee came close on Friday night, posting 37 points, 20 rebounds and 10 assists in a 128-117 loss to the Golden State Warriors.

The best performance in a winning effort goes to New Orleans point guard Chris Paul. Paul's injury in the second half of the season has put a damper on fantasy owners, but on December 18th he put up 30 points, hauled in nine rebounds and dished out 19 assists as his team beat the Nuggets 98-92.

Tyreke Evans had the top rookie game of the year, a 29-point, nine-rebound, 11- assist effort which edged out Brandon Jennings' 55-point November 14th output.
