Wide Receiver Player Notes
For The Last 15 Days

Marques Colston, WR, NOS11/25/2014 9:32:00 AM
Description: Saints wide receiver Marques Colston led the team with 56 receiving yards versus the Bengals.
Insight: Colston posted his best yardage total since Week 7 and scored for the first time since Week 3. That's solid work, though fantasy owners probably haven't been starting him because he has been unproductive over the past month.
Kenny Stills, WR, NOS11/25/2014 9:30:00 AM
Description: Saints receiver Kenny Stills caught 8-of-9 targets for 98 yards against Baltimore.
Insight: Stills has taken over for injured Brandin Cooks in the Saints offense and his fantasy value should be similar down the stretch.
Torrey Smith, WR, BAL11/25/2014 9:16:00 AM
Description: Ravens wideout Torrey Smith recorded a season-high 98 receiving yards against New Orleans, but couldn't find the end zone.
Insight: Smith led the team with six targets and five receptions, but didn't reach double-digit fantasy points. He had scored in four of the previous five games.
Steve Smith Sr, WR, BAL11/25/2014 9:13:00 AM
Description: Ravens wide receiver Steve Smith Sr. was big early, with a touchdown and 69 yards at the half, but didn't do much after the break
Insight: Smith looked like he was going to go revert to his early season production, but Torrey Smith was more active after halftime. Steve Smith had four 100-yard games in the first six contests, but hasn't posted triple-digits since Week 6.
Sammy Watkins, WR, BUF11/24/2014 10:08:00 PM
Description: Bills wideout Sammy Watkins did not do much on Monday.
Insight: He saw only five targets and caught three of them, for 35 yards. Look for Watkins to rebound in Week 13.
Robert Woods, WR, BUF11/24/2014 10:07:00 PM
Description: Bills receiver Robert Woods had a big night on Monday.
Insight: He had nine receptions for 118 yards and a touchdown. Woods is a little too inconsistent is still a borderline WR3.
Eric Decker, WR, NYJ11/24/2014 10:03:00 PM
Description: Jets receiver Eric Decker had four catches for 63 yards on Monday.
Insight: Decker is a victim of poor quarterback play, is really a WR3, at best.
Dexter McCluster, WR, TEN11/24/2014 4:41:00 PM
Description: Titans RB/WR Dexter McCluster is battling a concussion.
Insight: He will now have to go through the league's protocol to get cleared. If McCluster does not play in Week 13, Bishop Sankey will see more work on passing-downs.
Doug Baldwin, WR, SEA11/24/2014 12:18:00 PM
Description: Seahawks receiver Doug Baldwin caught just two balls for six yards against the Cardinals.
Insight: Russell Wilson spread the ball around and didn't challenge the Patrick Peterson and Antonio Cromartie duo, instead targeting his tight ends for most of the afternoon.
Wes Welker, WR, DEN11/24/2014 12:05:00 PM
Description: Broncos receiver Wes Welker was actually sighted catching a touchdown pass.
Insight: That's as rare as spotting a Yeti. It was just his second score of the season. The problem is that Emmanuel Sanders has taken over the Welker role ,so the real Welker, has become a non-factor for fantasy owners.
Emmanuel Sanders, WR, DENHot11/24/2014 12:04:00 PM
Description: Broncos wideout Emmanuel Sanders (concussion) was a question mark during the week, but there was no questioning his performance on Sunday.
Insight: Sanders is a WR1 as he racked up his seven 100-yard receiving game of the season (9-125-0).
Demaryius Thomas, WR, DENHot11/24/2014 12:01:00 PM
Description: Broncos receiver Demaryius Thomas caught 10 of 13 passes for 87 yards and three touchdowns.
Insight: Thomas is simply the best receiver in the league. Even when he doesn't crack the 100-yard mark he still posts huge numbers.
Mike Wallace, WR, MIA11/24/2014 11:55:00 AM
Description: Dolphins receiver Mike Wallace caught four of five targets for 35 yards and a touchdown.
Insight: Ryan Tannehill threw a lot of short passes and that left Wallace with little production. At least his seven touchdowns this season have helped make up for his lack of yards (592).
Jarvis Landry, WR, MIAHot11/24/2014 11:52:00 AM
Description: Dolphins receiver Jarvis Landry has become Ryan Tannehill's new favorite receiver.
Insight: Landry was targeted a team-high 11 times, catching seven for 50 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He's not a bug yardage guy, but he does have four scores in the last four games.
Michael Crabtree, WR, SFXCold11/24/2014 11:42:00 AM
Description: 49ers wide receiver Michael Crabtree caught five of seven targets for 58 yards against the Redskins.
Insight: Crabtree's production just isn't up to preseason expectations and likely won't improve now that he taken a backseat to Anquan Boldin. he has just one double-digit fantasy point output in the last five games.
Anquan Boldin, WR, SFXHot11/24/2014 11:37:00 AM
Description: 49ers wideout Anquan Boldin broke out with nine receptions for 137 yards and a touchdown.
Insight: In case you haven't been paying attention, Boldin, not Michael Crabtree or vernon davis is Colin Kaepernick's favorite target. He's now scored in three of the past four games.
DeSean Jackson, WR, WAS11/24/2014 11:26:00 AM
Description: Redskins receiver DeSean Jackson caught two passes for 39 yards.
Insight: Jackson, like Pierre Garcon, couldn't do much with a struggling quarterback and a tough 49ers defense.
Pierre Garcon, WR, WASCold11/24/2014 11:23:00 AM
Description: Washington receiver Pierre Garcon caught three balls for just 34 yards angainst the 49ers.
Insight: When your quarterback throws for just 106 yards, it's going to be tough for any receiver to produce. Garcon has produced just two double-digit games all season. Thanks DeSean.
Rueben Randle, WR, NYGCold11/24/2014 11:08:00 AM
Description: Giants receiver Rueben Randle took a backseat to Odell Beckham Jr.
Insight: After he posted seven catches for 112 yards against the 49ers, he returned to mediocrity catching three balls for 36 yards versus Dallas. As the No. 2 receiver with an inconsistent quarterback, this is to be expected.
Odell Beckham Jr., WR, NYGHot11/24/2014 11:06:00 AM
Description: Now we know why Giants receiver Odell Beckham Jr. practices those one-handed catches.
Insight: Beckham made an outstanding one-handed catch for a touchdown as part of a huge night in which he led the Giants with 10 receptions for 146 yards and a pair of scores. He's special.
Cole Beasley, WR, DAL11/24/2014 11:00:00 AM
Description: Cowboys wideout Cole Beasley made to big catches in Dallas' come from behind win over the Giants in Week 12.
Insight: Beasley caught just two balls but one was a 45-yard catch and run that got the team back into the game in the third quarter. It was his first multi-catch game since Week 5, so he's not fantasy worthy despite the nice effort Sunday night.
Terrance Williams, WR, DAL11/24/2014 10:57:00 AM
Description: Cowboys receiver Terrance Williams was a non-factor against the Giants Sunday night.
Insight: Williams was targeted just twice, catching one of them for 18 yards and hasn't been part of the offense in a month. Cole Beasley was much more active with two big catches for 66 yards and a score.
Dez Bryant, WR, DALHot11/24/2014 10:21:00 AM
Description: Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant rebounded from a dull first half with a pair of second-half touchdown receptions, including the game-winner with one minutes remaining.
Insight: Bryant has two touchdown catches in each of the last two games and 10 touchdowns this season along with 879 yards.
Jeremy Maclin, WR, PHI11/23/2014 7:40:00 PM
Description: Eagles receiver Jeremy Maclin recorded six catches for 59 yards in Sunday's victory.
Insight: Maclin has produced as much under Mark Sanchez, but is still a WR1 in this high-octane offense.
Jordan Matthews, WR, PHI11/23/2014 7:39:00 PM
Description: Eagles rookie receiver Jordan Matthews had a team-high 77 yards in Week 12.
Insight: Matthews had six grabs and continues to be a favorite of Mark Sanchez. He is a borderline WR2.
Justin Hunter, WR, TEN11/23/2014 7:33:00 PM
Description: Titans receiver Justin Hunter scored a touchdown in Sunday's loss to Philadelphia.
Insight: He had four receptions for 64 yards on 10 targets. Kendall Wright was unimpressive on the other side, going for one catch and 28 yards, while Nate Washington had four receptions for 63 yards. There is too much inconsistency among Titans' wideouts.
Alshon Jeffery, WR, CHI11/23/2014 7:27:00 PM
Description: Bears wideout Alshon Jeffery caught a touchdown during Sunday's win against the Buccaneers.
Insight: He had only 3 receptions for 22 yards, so the score saved his day. Jeffery is a WR2 for Week 13.
Brandon Marshall, WR, CHI11/23/2014 7:26:00 PM
Description: Bears wideout Brandon Marshall had only 32 yards on Sunday.
Insight: He did so on just three catches, and will look to rebound Thursday against the Lions.
Mike Evans, WR, TAM11/23/2014 7:21:00 PM
Description: Tampa Bay wideout Mike Evans scored a touchdown in his fourth consecutive game, on Sunday.
Insight: He has six scores during that span, and finished the day with three catches for 47 yards. Evans is a solid WR2 for Week 13.
Vincent Jackson, WR, TAM11/23/2014 7:20:00 PM
Description: Buccaneers wide receiver Vincent Jackson had a team-high 117 receiving yards on Sunday.
Insight: It was his first 100-yard game since Week 5, and he did so on five catches. Jackson is a WR3.
DeAndre Hopkins, WR, HOU11/23/2014 7:15:00 PM
Description: Texans receiver DeAndre Hopkins had five catches during Sunday's loss to Cincinnati.
Insight: He had only 39 yards, and just like Andre Johnson, Hopkins will continued to be plagued by poor quarterback play.
Andre Johnson, WR, HOU11/23/2014 7:14:00 PM
Description: Texans receiver Andre Johnson had only 36 yards in Week 12.
Insight: Johnson had just three catches, and is no more than a WR3 with inconsistent quarterback play.
Mohamed Sanu, WR, CIN11/23/2014 7:10:00 PM
Description: Bengals receiver Mohamed Sanu scored a touchdown in Week 12.
Insight: He had five catches for 48 yards on seven targets. Sanu is a WR3 with A.J. Green back and fully healthy.
A.J. Green, WR, CIN11/23/2014 7:07:00 PM
Description: Bengals receiver A.J. Green had a big day during Week 12's victory versus Houston.
Insight: He had 12 catches for 121 yards, on 16 targets. Green is over his toe injury and is a WR1 from here on out.
T.Y. Hilton, WR, IND11/23/2014 7:02:00 PM
Description: Colts receiver T.Y. Hilton had a big day on Sunday.
Insight: After the birth of his baby girl, Hilton went out and recorded four catches for 122 yards and a score. He eclipsed the 1,000-yard mark in the process, for the second consecutive season.
Marqise Lee, WR, JAC11/23/2014 6:55:00 PM
Description: Jaguars rookie wide receiver Marqise Lee had a team-high 52 receiving yards on Sunday.
Insight: Nothing special, as Lee had only three catches, but no wideout outperformed him. Hopefully owners have better options that receivers on Jacksonville.
Denard Robinson, WR, JAC11/23/2014 6:54:00 PM
Description: Jaguars running back Denard Robinson was not very effective in Week 12.
Insight: He rushed 14 times for 25 yards and lost a fumble. Robinson did help owners with four catches for 47 yards. We still like him as an RB2.
Greg Jennings, WR, MIN11/23/2014 6:51:00 PM
Description: Vikings wideout Greg Jennings caught a team-high four passes on Sunday.
Insight: Jennings had only 38 yards. Charles Johnson led the receivers with 52 yards and a touchdown, while Cordarelle Patterson had just two catches for 18 yards. All wideouts should be avoided in Minnesota.
Randall Cobb, WR, GBP11/23/2014 6:45:00 PM
Description: Green Bay wideout Randall Cobb had just 58 yards on Sunday.
Insight: Just a subpar outing for Cobb, with only four catches on five targets. Look for him to rebound in Week 13.
Jordy Nelson, WR, GBP11/23/2014 6:44:00 PM
Description: Packers receiver Jordy Nelson had a team-high eight receptions for 68 yards.
Insight: Not the best outing for Nelson, but Green Bay did not do much through the air. He is still a WR1.
Julian Edelman, WR, NEP11/23/2014 6:38:00 PM
Description: Patriots wideout Julian Edelman caught a team-high 11 passes on Sunday.
Insight: He did so on 15 targets, and finsihed with 89 yards. Edelman is a borderline WR2.
Brandon LaFell, WR, NEP11/23/2014 6:37:00 PM
Description: Patriots receiver Brandon LaFell had a team-high 98 receiving yards during Sunday's win over Detroit.
Insight: LaFell had nine catches on 12 targets, and is clearly turning into a favorite of Tom Brady. He will be a borderline WR2 for Week 13.
Calvin Johnson, WR, DET11/23/2014 6:32:00 PM
Description: Lions receiver Calvin Johnson had 10 targets, but recorded only 58 yards on Sunday.
Insight: He did so on four catches. Johnson will look to rebound Thursday against Chicago, and should be considered a WR1 for that matchup.
Golden Tate, WR, DET11/23/2014 6:31:00 PM
Description: Lions receiver Golden Tate led the team in receiving during Week 12's loss to the Patriots.
Insight: Tate had four receptions for 97 yards, on 11 targets. He should continue to be a solid WR2.
Julio Jones, WR, ATL11/23/2014 6:26:00 PM
Description: Falcons receiver Julio Jones scored his first touchdown in his last eight games.
Insight: It was the longest drought of his career. Jones finished the day with five catches for 68 yards.
Roddy White, WR, ATL11/23/2014 6:25:00 PM
Description: Falcons receiver Roddy White had a nice day Sunday against the Browns.
Insight: He had nine catches for 96 yards, which led the team. White should continue to be a solid WR2.
Josh Gordon, WR, CLE11/23/2014 6:19:00 PM
Description: Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon did not disappoint in his return to action.
Insight: He had eight receptions for 120 yards on 16 targets. Gordon is a clear WR1 for the remainder of the season.
Emmanuel Sanders, WR, DEN11/23/2014 3:22:00 PM
Description: Broncos wideout Emmanuel Sanders (concussion) is officially active for Week 12 against Miami.
Insight: Owners need to make sure he is in all lineups. Sanders is a WR1 for Sunday versus the Dolphins.
Larry Fitzgerald, WR, ARI11/23/2014 3:10:00 PM
Description: Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald (knee) is officially out for Week 12.
Insight: No surprise here. John Brown will see a bump in value against a tough Seattle secondary.
T.Y. Hilton, WR, IND11/23/2014 12:48:00 PM
Description: Colts receiver T.Y. Hilton was a little late to the stadium due to the birth of his baby girl.
Insight: He stated that he wants to score a touchdown for his newborn, so we will keep track. Congrats to the Hilton family.
Julio Jones, WR, ATL11/23/2014 12:09:00 PM
Description: Falcons receiver Julio Jones (illness) has returned to practice Friday and so it's not a surprise that he's ready to go Sunday.
Insight: He still has a tough matchup, facing Pro Bowl cornerback in Joe Haden, so may not be a top play.
Brandon Marshall, WR, CHI11/23/2014 12:08:00 PM
Description: Bears wideout Brandon Marshall is officially active for Week 12 against Tampa Bay.
Insight: Marshall has been tending to an ankle injury. but there was no doubt he would suit up. Fire him up as a WR1.
Alshon Jeffery, WR, CHI11/23/2014 12:06:00 PM
Description: Bears wideout Alshon Jeffery is active, as expected for Week 12.
Insight: Make sure Jeffery is locked and loaded in all lineups.
Larry Fitzgerald, WR, ARI11/23/2014 10:50:00 AM
Description: Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald (knee) missed all three practices this week and according to Ian Rapoport it would take a miracle for him to play in Week 12.
Insight: He is dealing with a Grade 2 MCL sprain and though he has said he will try to go, he certainly won't be anywhere near 100 percent. Given his already reduced role as the "possession" receiver, we think John Brown and Michael Floyd are better wideout options.
Josh Gordon, WR, CLE11/22/2014 3:33:00 PM
Description: The Browns have officially activated wide receiver Josh Gordon.
Insight: Everyone knew he was going to play, so this is just a formality. Coach Mike Pettine has said he will be on a snap count limit, but we aren't buying it. Gordon is the most talented player on the Browns offense, and Cleveland is in a thick AFC North race. Gordon is a must-start.
Jason Avant, WR, KAN11/21/2014 4:55:00 PM
Description: The wide receiver starved Kansas City Chiefs signed recently released Jason Avant.
Insight: Avant is a slow-of-foot, but sure-handed receiver. Given their lack of talent at the wideout position, he's worth a shot. For fantasy owners, probably not.
Larry Fitzgerald, WR, ARI11/21/2014 2:34:00 PM
Description: Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald (knee) missed all three practices this week.
Insight: He is dealing with a Grade 2 MCL sprain and though he has said he will try to go, he certainly won't be anywhere near 100 percent. Given his already reduced role as the "possession" receiver, we think John Brown and Michael Floyd are better wideout options.
Greg Jennings, WR, MIN11/21/2014 2:30:00 PM
Description: Vikings wideout Greg Jennings left Sunday's game against the Bears with a rib injury, but after practicing on Friday is expected to play Sunday versus his old Packers team.
Insight: Jennings hasn't done much this season (36-463-2) and had just two catches for 31 yards in their previous meeting. He isn't likely to be a factor this weekend.
Emmanuel Sanders, WR, DEN11/21/2014 2:27:00 PM
Description: Broncos wideout Emmanuel Sanders (concussion) has been upgraded to probable for Week 12 after practicing Friday.
Insight: Sanders should be re-installed in all lineups, particularly as it appears TE Julius Thomas isn't likely to play leaving more targets for the rest of the pass-catchers.
Julio Jones, WR, ATL11/21/2014 11:54:00 AM
Description: Falcons receiver Julio Jones (illness) has returned to practice Friday.
Insight: Jones figured to be fine, but it's was worth watching. He still has a tough matchup, facing cornerback in Joe Haden, so may not be a top play.
James Jones, WR, OAK11/21/2014 9:17:00 AM
Description: Raiders receiver James Jones hauled in five balls for 47 yards and a touchdown.
Insight: Jones ran a great pattern on the game-winning score, but overall he's had a tough year in his first year with the Raiders. Rookie quarterbacks will do that to his receivers.
Andre Holmes, WR, OAK11/21/2014 9:16:00 AM
Description: Raiders receiver Andre Holmes saw a team-high 10 targets, catching five, for 55 yards.
Insight: Quarterback Derek Carr was looking for him all night long, but he produced only mediocre totals.
Dwayne Bowe, WR, KANCold11/21/2014 9:05:00 AM
Description: Chiefs wide receiver Dwayne Bowe had just three catches for 42 yards against the Raiders.
Insight: The weather wasn't conducive to the passing game, but in truth, Bowe hasn't been catching the ball in good weather either. He's just not the guy he was a few years ago and has limited fantasy value.
A.J. Jenkins, WR, KAN11/20/2014 1:35:00 PM
Description: Kansas City wide receiver A.J. Jenkins is expected to miss Thursday's game against Oakland
Insight: Jenkins joins Donnie Avery on the sidelines. The Chiefs don't have a fantasy-worthy receiver to start opposite the barely fantasy worthy Dwayne Bowe. Junior Hemingway and Frankie Hammond
Emmanuel Sanders, WR, DEN11/20/2014 1:32:00 PM
Description: Broncos wideout Emmanuel Sanders (concussion) did not practice Thursday. He also missed Wednesday's practice.
Insight: Sanders will need to be cleared by an independent specialist. Consider him questionable. His absence would add value to Wes Welker and Andre Caldwell.
Julio Jones, WR, ATL11/20/2014 1:28:00 PM
Description: Falcons receiver Julio Jones has missed another practice due to illness.
Insight: Jones figures to be fine by the weekend and in fact is expected to practice Friday, but it's worth watching. If he's less than 100 percent and facing a tough cornerback in Joe Haden he might not be a top play.
Eric Decker, WR, NYJ11/20/2014 12:09:00 PM
Description: Jets receiver Eric Decker told the New York Post he's finally 100 percent over his hamstring injury.
Insight: Great news, but heading to what should be less-than-ideal (read bad) weather conditions we will still worry about Decker.
Allen Hurns, WR, JAC11/20/2014 12:07:00 PM
Description: Jaguars rookie wideout Allen Hurns has passed his final concussion tests and isn't listed on the injury report.
Insight: We assume both Hurns and Marqise Lee will see plenty of playing time, but Hurns is expected to start.
Josh Gordon, WR, CLE11/20/2014 11:59:00 AM
Description: Browns receiver Josh Gordon, just reinstated from his long suspension, will be on a snap limit, according to coach Mike Pettine.
Insight: In other words, in his first game back, don't expect to see the guy who led the league in receiving yards last season. That may take a few games after missing three months. Still, he's too talented not to start.
Larry Fitzgerald, WR, ARI11/19/2014 3:45:00 PM
Description: Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald (knee) did not practice on Wednesday.
Insight: He probably will not practice much this week, and could come down to a game-time decision, as he is dealing with a Grade 2 MCL sprain.
Emmanuel Sanders, WR, DEN11/19/2014 2:01:00 PM
Description: Broncos wideout Emmanuel Sanders (concussion) did not practice Wednesday.
Insight: He seems to be okay after posting pictures and tweets on Twitter, but Sanders will need to be cleared by an independent specialist. Consider him questionable.
Sammy Watkins, WR, BUF11/19/2014 11:55:00 AM
Description: The Jets and Bills contest for Week 12 at Ralph Wilson Stadium is still expected to begin at 1 PM ET on Sunday, despite the threat of a severe snowstorm.
Insight: There is expected to be seven feet of snow on the ground by kickoff, but for now it is scheduled to start on time. If there is a change, the NFL will most likely announce it by Thursday afternoon.
Brandin Cooks, WR, NOS11/18/2014 5:51:00 PM
Description: Saints rookie wideout Brandin Cooks (thumb) has been placed on injured reserve.
Insight: His season is done, which is a bit surprising after it was thought Cooks would miss 4-to-6 weeks. At 21-years-old, he will bounce back next season.
Philly Brown, WR, CAR11/18/2014 1:25:00 PM
Description: Panthers wideout Philly Brown should jump into the No. 3 receiver role now that veteran Jason Avant has been waived.
Insight: Brown caught just one ball last weekend, but it was a 47-yarder for a touchdown.
Allen Hurns, WR, JAC11/18/2014 11:32:00 AM
Description: Jaguars rookie wideout Allen Hurns will replace Allen Robinson in the starting lineup, according to coach Gus Bradley.
Insight: We assume both Hurns and Marqise Lee will see plenty of playing time, so getting the start is only a little boost to his fantasy value. Hurns still must get final concussion clearance before he can play in Week 12.
Nate Washington, WR, TEN11/18/2014 9:32:00 AM
Description: Titans receiver Nate Washington caught just one ball, but it was an 80-yard bomb for a score.
Insight: Washington is the third receiver behind Kendall Wright and Justin Hunter and doesn't usually see enough work to be fantasy worthy.
Kendall Wright, WR, TEN11/18/2014 9:29:00 AM
Description: Titans receiver Kendall Wright led the team in targets (8) and receptions (4).
Insight: He's Mettenberger's favorite target, but is a low-end fantasy value. The 70-yard total Monday night was his best of the season.
Martavis Bryant, WR, PIT11/18/2014 9:21:00 AM
Description: Steelers rookie wideout Martavis Bryant caught just two of five targets for 11 yards and didn't get into the end zone.
Insight: The game plan reduced Bryant's chanes of adding to his touchdown total. There just weren't that many passes to spread around to all the receivers.
Brandin Cooks, WR, NOS11/17/2014 11:49:00 AM
Description: Saints rookie wideout Brandin Cooks suffered a broken thumb Sunday and is expected to miss 2-4 weeks.
Insight: Cooks has been solid this season with 53 receptions for 550 yards and three touchdowns. Kenny Stills fantasy value should rise for a couple of games.
Josh Gordon, WR, CLE11/17/2014 11:46:00 AM
Description: Browns receiver Josh Gordon has been reinstated from his long suspension and should give immediate help to the Browns receiving corps and Brian Hoyer's passing totals.
Insight: If somehow he's still available in your league, don't walk, run to pick him up.
Dexter McCluster, WR, TEN11/17/2014 11:45:00 AM
Description: Titans RB/WR Dexter McCluster has been limited in practice due to a knee bruise and is questionable for the Monday night game against Pittsburgh.
Insight: McCluster is the team's passing-down back, but has shown he's not fantasy worthy. He's yet to score a touchdown this season and his best yardage total is 58 combined yards.
Malcom Floyd, WR, SDC11/17/2014 10:34:00 AM
Description: Chargers receiver Malcom Floyd had four receptions for 44 yards and a touchdown.
Insight: Floyd has been consistent this season catching at least three balls in all but one game. But he's also cracked the 100-yard mark just once, so his fantasy value is dependent upon getting into the end zone and he's caught just four touchdown passes this season.
Keenan Allen, WR, SDC11/17/2014 10:29:00 AM
Description: Chargers receiver Keenan Allen led the team with 13 targets versus the Raiders.
Insight: Allen had eight catches but for just 63 yards. We need more out of him than that!
Larry Fitzgerald, WR, ARI11/17/2014 10:16:00 AM
Description: Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald caught just two of four targets for 33 yards, before injuring his right knee.
Insight: Fitzgerald seemed to have fallen behind John Brown even before the injury. He'll have an MRI on Monday.
Michael Floyd, WR, ARI11/17/2014 10:15:00 AM
Description: Arizona wide receiver Michael Floyd woke up Sunday and posted double-digit points for the first time since Week 7.
Insight: Floyd caught two first-quarter touchdown passes, but then disappeared again in the second half. He continues to frustrate fantasy owners.
John Brown, WR, ARI11/17/2014 10:12:00 AM
Description: Third receiver John Brown saw a team-high nine targets for 69 yards.
Insight: Brown has become the Cardinals' deep threat. He and new starting QB Drew Stanton seem to be working very well together.
Golden Tate, WR, DETCold11/17/2014 10:07:00 AM
Description: Lions receiver Golden Tate saw just two targets and managed just 41 yards against Arizona
Insight: Tate should bounce back next weekend as Calvin Johnson will likely have Darrelle Revis shadowing him and Stafford should look for Tate.
Calvin Johnson, WR, DETCold11/17/2014 10:04:00 AM
Description: Lions receiver Calvin Johnson was a non-factor in Week 11, catching just five of 12 targets for 59 yards and no scores.
Insight: The Cardinals were in the bottom five in passing yards allowed, but did a great job on Megatron and the Lions.
Davante Adams, WR, GBP11/17/2014 9:58:00 AM
Description: Packers rookie receiver Davante Adams was still not a big part of the offense against Green Bay, but he did get into the end zone.
Insight: Adams caught both targets for 13 yards and a touchdown, but as long as Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb are healthy he's not going to be fantasy worthy.
Randall Cobb, WR, GBP11/17/2014 9:56:00 AM
Description: Green Bay wideout Randall Cobb was targeted a team-high 13 times against Philadelphia.
Insight: Cobb caught 10 of them for 129 yards, but couldn't find the end zone to turn a solid day into a great one.
Jordy Nelson, WR, GBP11/17/2014 9:55:00 AM
Description: Packers receiver Jordy Nelson caught just four of 10 targets, but still managed to earn his fantasy owners the 100-yard bonus.
Insight: Nelson totaled 109 yards and a touchdown against the Eagles. He's scored in eight of 10 games this season.
Jeremy Maclin, WR, PHI11/17/2014 9:48:00 AM
Description: Eagles receiver Jeremy Maclin returned to stud status after a quiet game last weekend.
Insight: Maclin was targeted a team-high 11 times and caught nine for 93 yards and a touchdown. The worry from last weekend should be gone.
Jordan Matthews, WR, PHIHot11/17/2014 9:46:00 AM
Description: Eagles rookie receiver Jordan Matthews is clearly a Mark Sanchez favorite, particularly on crossing patterns.
Insight: Matthews caught five balls for 107 yards and a touchdown giving him a two-week total of 245 yards and three scores. He's a very good option moving forward.
Hakeem Nicks, WR, IND11/17/2014 9:40:00 AM
Description: Colts wideout Hakeem Nicks caught just two of five targets for 15 yards, but he did score once.
Insight: Nicks is still not a big part of the offense and can't be counted on by fantasy owners.
Reggie Wayne, WR, IND11/17/2014 9:33:00 AM
Description: Colts receiver Reggie Wayne was busy early on, but the Patriots put Darrelle Revis on him and he caught just two balls in the second half for 21 yards.
Insight: Wayne finished with five receptions for 91 yards, his highest yardage total since Week 4, but didn't get into the end zone.
T.Y. Hilton, WR, INDCold11/17/2014 9:32:00 AM
Description: Colts receiver T.Y. Hilton was double-teamed all night and Andrew Luck was forced to use other options to the disappointment of Hilton's fantasy owners.
Insight: Hilton saw just seven targets, catching three for a measly 24 yards. It was his lowest production of the season.
Antonio Brown, WR, PIT11/17/2014 9:21:00 AM
Description: Steelers receiver Antonio Brown continued to produce despite a renewed emphasis on the ground game against Tennessee.
Insight: Brown caught nine of 11 targets for 91 yards and a touchdown. He didn't run wild as in past games, but he's still a fantasy stud.
Brandon LaFell, WR, NEP11/17/2014 9:20:00 AM
Description: Patriots receiver Brandon LaFell was mediocre catching three balls for 62 yards.
Insight: The Patriots featured a ground attack to keep the ball away from Andrew Luck and it worked, but that forced low receiving totals for all Pats receivers, including LaFell.
Julian Edelman, WR, NEPCold11/17/2014 9:16:00 AM
Description: Patriots wideout Julian Edelman saw a team-high eight targets against the Colts, but didn't do much with them.
Insight: He caught five for 50 yards. Part of his poor numbers might have been the Pats use of multiple tight ends as they ran the ball down the Colts throats. He also took a big first quarter hit that may have slowed him down.
Emmanuel Sanders, WR, DEN11/16/2014 7:52:00 PM
Description: Broncos wideout Emmanuel Sanders did not return on Sunday against the Rams.
Insight: The medical staff ruled him out after he suffered a concussion in the first half. Despite missig time, he finished with five catches for 102 yards and caught Peyton Manning's only touchdown pass.
Kenny Britt, WR, STL11/16/2014 7:51:00 PM
Description: Rams wide receiver Kenny Britt caught a 64-yard touchdown pass versus the Broncos.
Insight: Britt had four catches for 128 yards and led the Rams with seven targets. He is the best fantasy receiving option on the Rams.
Demaryius Thomas, WR, DENHot11/16/2014 7:49:00 PM
Description: Broncos receiver Demaryius Thomas caught seven passes for 103 yards to lead the team in receiving.
Insight: Thomas was Manning's only big target left after Emmanuel Sanders and Julius Thomas left with injuries. Thomas eclipsed the 1,000 yard receiving mark for the season, but his fantasy owners would like him to find the end zone more often.
Vincent Jackson, WR, TAM11/16/2014 7:33:00 PM
Description: Buccaneers wide receiver Vincent Jackson had three catches for 43 yards versus Washington on Sunday.
Insight: With Mike Evans breaking out, Jackson isn't left with much with Josh McCown under center. Jackson will remain the second-best receiving option for McCown going forward as we expect Evans to continue to dominant.
DeSean Jackson, WR, WAS11/16/2014 7:31:00 PM
Description: Redskins receiver DeSean Jackson caught four passes for 35 yards.
Insight: Jackson just missed a big play a couple times with the pass just out of his reach. He is the epitome of a boom-or-bust player, who will have these kind of weeks from time-to-time. The boom, however, is worth plugging him in the lineup every week.
Mike Evans, WR, TAM11/16/2014 7:30:00 PM
Description: If fantasy owners were smart enough to pickup Mike Evans the last few weeks, hopefully they were also smart enough to start him in Week 11.
Insight: Evans had seven catches for 209 yards and two touchdowns. He has surpassed Vincent Jackson for the No. 1 target in the Tampa Bay passing offense, and is a great WR2 option in fantasy.
Brandin Cooks, WR, NOS11/16/2014 7:16:00 PM
Description: Saints rookie wideout Brandin Cooks gained a total of 55 yards on offense against the Bengals.
Insight: Cooks led the wide receivers with five catches and also had 50 yards. Cooks added a five-yard run. He is a WR3.
Mohamed Sanu, WR, CIN11/16/2014 7:15:00 PM
Description: Bengals receiver Mohamed Sanu had just three catches for 23 yards.
Insight: Sanu had six targets, but A.J. Green returned to be Andy Dalton's favorite receiver. Sanu is a low-end WR2.
Marques Colston, WR, NOS11/16/2014 7:14:00 PM
Description: Saints wide receiver Marques Colston led the team with 56 receiving yards versus the Bengals.
Insight: Colston also led the team with eight targets, but the fact the leading receiver for the high-powered Saints offense had 56 yards says how much it struggled in Week 11.
A.J. Green, WR, CIN11/16/2014 7:11:00 PM
Description: Bengals receiver A.J. Green had his biggest fantasy day of the season in Week 11.
Insight: Green caught six passes for 127 yards and a score. He gained 80 yards on one drive, which ended in a 24-yard touchdown catchf for Green. He is obviously a WR1 moving forward.
Anquan Boldin, WR, SFX11/16/2014 6:56:00 PM
Description: 49ers wideout Anquan Boldin had five catches for 53 yards versus the Giants.
Insight: Boldin caught all but one of his targets. Boldin is the most reliable fantasy option in the San Francisco receiving core, but Michael Crabtree has the biggest upside, hence Crabtree's 48-yard touchdown.
Odell Beckham Jr., WR, NYGHot11/16/2014 6:53:00 PM
Description: Giants receiver Odell Beckham Jr. caught six passes for 93 yards against the 49ers.
Insight: Beckham was behind Rueben Randle in targets, yards, and catches, but there was plenty to go around with Eli Manning's 47 pass attempts. Unfortunately for the wide receivers, the tight end Larry Donnell caught Manning's only touchdown.
Michael Crabtree, WR, SFX11/16/2014 6:51:00 PM
Description: 49ers wide receiver Michael Crabtree caught three passes for 85 yards and scored against the Giants.
Insight: It was Crabtree's first touchdown since Week 6 against the Rams. He scored on a 48-yard catch. This will likely just further confuse fantasy owners with Michael Crabtree on their bench.
Rueben Randle, WR, NYG11/16/2014 6:49:00 PM
Description: Giants receiver Rueben Randle had his best day receiving on Sunday versus the 49ers.
Insight: Just when fantasy owners were likely giving up on Reuben Randle, he posted seven catches for 112 yards. Randle led the Giants with 15 targets. He is a risky FLEX play with upside moving forward.
Taylor Gabriel, WR, CLE11/16/2014 6:32:00 PM
Description: Browns receiver Taylor Gabriel tied fellow receiver Andrew Hawkins for a team-high 13 targets.
Insight: Gabriel caught five targets and went for 92 yards. Fantasy owners would like to have seen more catches with the amount of targets.
Andre Johnson, WR, HOU11/16/2014 6:30:00 PM
Description: Texans receiver Andre Johnson caught seven passes for 68 yards versus the Browns.
Insight: Johnson led the team with nine targets in Ryan Mallett's first game. His fantasy owners should be happy with the change under center.
Andrew Hawkins, WR, CLE11/16/2014 6:28:00 PM
Description: Browns wide receiver Andrew Hawkins scored the lone Cleveland touchdown on Sunday against the Texans.
Insight: Hawkins caught six passes for 97 yards and scored. He received a team-high 13 targets. It will be interested to see how Josh Gordon fits in with Hawkins and company next week.
DeAndre Hopkins, WR, HOU11/16/2014 6:26:00 PM
Description: Texans receiver DeAndre Hopkins had just four catches but gained 80 yards through the air on Sunday.
Insight: Even though Hopkins was not able to find the end zone again, he still turned in a good fantasy day. Ryan Mallett targeted Hopkins eight times and Andre Johnson nine.
Harry Douglas, WR, ATL11/16/2014 6:16:00 PM
Description: Falcons wide receiver Harry Douglas played on Sunday and caught four passes for 46 yards.
Insight: Douglas caught all four of his targets. He is only viable in very deep fantasy leagues.
Larry Fitzgerald, WR, ARI11/16/2014 6:15:00 PM
Description: Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald missed some time in the first half due to a knee issue, but has returned for the second half.
Insight: Fitzgerald has just one receptions for 22 yards. John Brown and Michael Floyd are carrying the load against the Lions, at least in the first half.
Julio Jones, WR, ATL11/16/2014 6:13:00 PM
Description: Falcons receiver Julio Jones caught six passes for 59 yards against the Panthers.
Insight: Again, Jones did not find the end zone. He has not scored since Oct. 12. Jones, however, remains a WR1.
Kelvin Benjamin, WR, CAR11/16/2014 6:11:00 PM
Description: Panthers receiver Kelvin Benjamin caught nine passes for 109 yards and a touchdown versus the Falcons.
Insight: Benjamin had another slow start, but he caught fire with a touchdown and several more catches in the fourth quarter. He is a solid WR2 and low-end WR1 in deep leagues going into the playoffs.
Roddy White, WR, ATL11/16/2014 6:09:00 PM
Description: Falcons receiver Roddy White led the team with eight catches, 75 yards and caught a touchdown against the Panthers in Week 11.
Insight: White led the team with 12 targets as well. It continues to be anyone's best guess as to whether Julio Jones or White will lead the Falcons in receiving any given week.
Doug Baldwin, WR, SEA11/16/2014 5:51:00 PM
Description: Seahawks receiver Doug Baldwin caught a touchdown in the, 24-20, loss in Kansas City.
Insight: Baldwin caught six passes for 45 yards in addition to the touchdown. He was tied for the team lead with nine targets. Of all the Seattle wide receivers, he is the most reliable in fantasy.
Dwayne Bowe, WR, KAN11/16/2014 5:49:00 PM
Description: Chiefs wide receiver Dwayne Bowe had just two catches for 18 yards against the Seahawks.
Insight: The Chiefs have now gone 11 weeks into the season without throwing a touchdown to a wide receiver. Bowe led all receivers with four targets. Kansas City only had 16 passes, so considering that, the lack of targets isn't a big surprise.
Brandon Marshall, WR, CHI11/16/2014 5:36:00 PM
Description: Bears wideout Brandon Marshall caught seven balls for 90 yards and two touchdowns against the Vikings.
Insight: Marshall "boxed-out" the Vikings defenders on both his touchdowns. Even with the uneasiness at quarterback for Chicago, Marshall is having a fine fantasy season.
Alshon Jeffery, WR, CHI11/16/2014 5:34:00 PM
Description: Bears wideout Alshon Jeffery caught 11 passes for 135 yards and a touchdown.
Insight: Jeffery received 17 targets, which all fantasy owners love to hear. If Cutler can steady himself under center, Jeffery is a borderline WR1 for the rest of the season. However, that's a big if.
Greg Jennings, WR, MIN11/16/2014 3:33:00 PM
Description: Vikings wideout Greg Jennings left Sunday's game against the Bears with a rib injury.
Insight: He is questionable to return. Jennings had one catch for four yards on two targets before he exited.
Emmanuel Sanders, WR, DEN11/16/2014 3:15:00 PM
Description: Broncos wideout Emmanuel Sanders headed to the locker room to be checked out for a concussion after a hard hit he took on the first drive of the third quarter and is not expected to return
Insight: Sanders had five receptions for 102 yards and a touchdown so fantasy owners will still have solid numbers today, but next week will be a huge question mark.
Jarius Wright, WR, MIN11/16/2014 2:44:00 PM
Description: Vikings receiver Jarius Wright is questionable to return on Sunday due to a hamstring injury.
Insight: As the No. 3 wide receiver in Minnesota, Wright isn't in too many fantasy lineups. He had one target and did not catch it before he left.
Emmanuel Sanders, WR, DEN11/16/2014 2:42:00 PM
Description: Broncos wideout Emmanuel Sanders is headed to the locker room to be checked out for a concussion after a hard hit he took on the first drive of the third quarter.
Insight: Sanders already has five receptions for 102 yards and a touchdown.
Kenny Britt, WR, STL11/16/2014 2:08:00 PM
Description: Rams wide receiver Kenny Britt, who limped off the field, has returned.
Insight: With two catches for 96 yards and a touchdown in barely a quarter of play it would have been a shame if he couldn't continue. he's up to 4-128-1 with three minutes to go in the second quarter.
Kenny Britt, WR, STL11/16/2014 1:50:00 PM
Description: No long after catching a 63-yard touchdown pass, Rams wide receiver Kenny Britt limped off the field.
Insight: With two catches for 96 yards and a touchdown in barely a quarter of play it would be a shame if he couldn't continue.
Harry Douglas, WR, ATL11/16/2014 11:41:00 AM
Description: Falcons wide receiver Harry Douglas is active for Sunday's game against the Panthers.
Insight: So is Devin Hester, but neither player isn't expected to have much of a fantasy impact. If owners are forced to start either of these players, at least they will be active.
Santana Moss, WR, WAS11/16/2014 11:33:00 AM
Description: Washington wide receiver Santana Moss is inactive for Week 11.
Insight: Moss has yet to catch a pass this season.
Tavon Austin, WR, STL11/16/2014 7:54:00 AM
Description: Rams receiver Tavon Austin had two catches for 10 yards.
Insight: Kenny Britt stole the show in the Rams passing game, and St. Louis ran the ball 33 times in an attempt to keep Peyton Manning off the field. Austin remains a WR4.
Calvin Johnson, WR, DET11/14/2014 5:02:00 PM
Description: Lions receiver Calvin Johnson (ankle) is probable for Week 11.
Insight: He is ready to roll, and will be a WR1 against Arizona.
Josh Gordon, WR, CLE11/14/2014 4:54:00 PM
Description: Browns receiver Josh Gordon will be able to resume all football activities "without restriction" according to the NFL.
Insight: Gordon will be ready to roll for Week 12, and all owners who have hung onto him throughout the season, should load him up as a WR1 upon his return.
Donnie Avery, WR, KAN11/14/2014 2:43:00 PM
Description: Wide receiver Donnie Avery (groin) practices, but has once again been ruled out for the weekend.
Insight: Avery join A.J. Jenkins on the sidelines which should make Frankie Hammond the starter opposite Dwayne Bowe.
Marquess Wilson, WR, CHI11/14/2014 2:35:00 PM
Description: Bears receiver Marquess Wilson (collarbone) has been activated from the injured reserved/designated for return list.
Insight: Wilson's collarbone broke in two places and he was given a 12-14 week timetable after his Aug. 5 surgery, so he came back on schedule. He'll replace Santonio Holmes at the No. 3 spot behind Alshon Jeffery and Brandon Marshall, but is unlikely to produce fantasy-worthy numbers.
Harry Douglas, WR, ATL11/14/2014 1:45:00 PM
Description: Falcons backup wide receiver Harry Douglas is questionable for Week 11
Insight: he has just three receptions since Week 3 and has no fantasy value at this time..
Jarvis Landry, WR, MIA11/14/2014 9:39:00 AM
Description: Dolphins receiver Jarvis Landry had five catches for 46 yards and a touchdown against the Bills Thursday night
Insight: Landry has caught at least five balls in the last three contests. He fumbled a punt after the safety, but made up for it with his second touchdown reception in three weeks. He's a low-end option in league which include return yardage.
Mike Wallace, WR, MIA11/14/2014 9:38:00 AM
Description: Dolphins receiver Mike Wallace was dull Thursday night, catching four of seven targets for 38 yards.
Insight: Ryan Tannehill threw a lot of short passes and that left Wallace with little production.
Chris Hogan, WR, BUF11/14/2014 9:33:00 AM
Description: With Sammy Watkins blanketed by Brent Grimes, Bills wide receiver Chris Hogan was a major factor again this week.
Insight: Hogan caught seven of nine targets for a team-leading 74 yards. He's caught five or more balls in four of the last five games.
Sammy Watkins, WR, BUFCold11/14/2014 9:29:00 AM
Description: Bills receiver Sammy Watkins caught only three passes for 32 yards.
Insight: He was targeted seven times, but Dolphins cornerback Brent Grimes basically took him out of the game. Watkins is still dealing with a groin issue.
Brandon Marshall, WR, CHI11/13/2014 3:39:00 PM
Description: Bears wideout Brandon Marshall (ankle) was back at practice Thursday and should be ready to go Sunday.
Insight: The ankle he injured was not the same one from earlier this season and we've been optimistic all week that he's be ready to go, but it is obviously still worth monitoring.
Dexter McCluster, WR, TEN11/13/2014 3:27:00 PM
Description: Titans RB/WR Dexter McCluster missed Thursday's practice due to a knee bruise.
Insight: McCluster is the team's passing-down back, but should not be considered anything more than an RB4.
Leonard Hankerson, WR, WAS11/11/2014 11:11:00 PM
Description: Washington receiver Leonard Hankerson is expected to play Sunday for the first time this season.
Insight: Hankerson isn't likely to make much of an impact behind DeSean Jackson, Pierre Garcon and Andre Roberts.
