Description: Clippers center DeAndre Jordan will play Wednesday against Portland but not for very long. SOURCE: Arash Markazi, ESPN Los Angeles
Insight: He's just trying to keep his games played streak alive. Ryan Hollins (2.3 ppg) and Big Baby Davis (9.5 ppg, 5.1 rpg) should see most of the playing time at center Wednesday in the regular season finale.
Description: Nets center Kevin Garnett won't be in the lineup Wednesday for the regular season finale. SOURCE: Rod Boone, Newsday
Insight: Garnett barely played in the second half, sitting out 19 games because of back spasms. Mason Plumlee (7.4 ppg, 4.4 rpg) and Andray Blatche (11.1 ppg, 5.3 rpg) are both better fantasy options than KG at this point.
Description: Boston PF/C Jared Sullinger will sit Wednesday versus the Wizards. SOURCE: Gary Washburn, Boston Globe
Insight: He's missed the last two games with a sprained ankle. Sullinger (13.3 ppg, 8.1 rpg) took major steps in 2013-14 and could be in for a breakout season if Kris Humphires leaves in free agency as he's expected to.
Description: Nuggers center Timofey Mozgov went to the locker room with a right knee injury during Tuesday's game, according to ESPN.com.
Insight: The Nuggets have been crushed by injuries this season. Mozgov entered Tuesday's game having averaged 15.5 points, 9.5 rebounds and 1.4 blocks over his previous 10 games. He's questionable to return.
Description: Indiana center Roy Hibbert will start the regular season finale Wednesday against the Magic, but he is only expected to play the first half, according to Scott Agness of pacers.com.
Insight: Paul George, Lance Stephenson and David West will rest tomorrow, but the Pacers need Hibbert to have a positive performance going into the playoffs. He went 2-for-22 from he field over his last three games and averaged 8.6 ppg on .356 shooting his last 17 games. That's unacceptable for a 7-foot-2 player.
Description: Cole Aldrich was New York's top performer Tuesday in a win over Brooklyn.
Insight: He netted 13 points to go with 13 rebounds. Both totals were season-highs. Aldrich played 25 minutes for the Knicks and should see a similar workload in tomorrow's season finale against the Raptors.
Description: Warriors center Andrew Bogut (fractured rib) said he has been advised that the rib is too close to the right lung to play through the pain, according to Rusty Simmons of the San Francisco Chronicle. That means he may have to miss the entirety of the postseason.
Insight: Bogut (7.3 ppg, 10.0 rpg, 1.8 bpg) took a shot to the ribs in overtime Sunday night and sustained a fracture. If he plays with the injury there's a risk he'll suffer a punctured lung. The Warriors are going to have to get more out of Jermaine O'Neal and Draymond Green than expected in the playoffs.
Description: Warriors center Andrew Bogut is out indefinitely due to a fractured rib, according to Marc J. Spears of Yahoo Sports.
Insight: Bogut (7.3 ppg, 10.0 rpg, 1.8 bpg) took a shot to the ribs in overtime Sunday night and he'll miss the last two games of the regular season. Jermaine O'Neal and Draymond Green will see more minutes as a result of Bogut's injury.
Description: Kings center DeMarcus Cousins will be suspended for Wednesday's game against the Suns without pay for receiving his 16th technical foul of the season, according to Marc J. Spears of Yahoo Sports.
Insight: Cousins has averaged a monstrous 27.9 points, 12.3 rebounds, 1.6 steals and 1.4 blocks over his last eight games, but he let his temper get the better of him again on Sunday and he'll miss the season finale. That 23-year-old will finish with averages of 22.7 points, 11.7 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.3 blocks in 71 games this season.
Description: Lakers center Chris Kaman (strained calf) participated in a light practice on Saturday and could possibly make an appearance in the final two games.
Insight: He didn't play Sunday, his sixth consecutive missed game. His absence has allowed Jordan Hill (two straight double-doubles) and Ryan Kelly to start in the frontcourt with Pau Gasol (vertigo) also still sidelined.
Description: Bulls center Joakim Noah missed a triple-double by one assist Sunday at New York, picking up 13 points, 17 rebounds and nine dimes in the loss.
Insight: Noah had the tougher two legs of a triple-double Friday with 12 rebounds and 10 assists but he shot only 2-of-10 for six points. Meanwhile, Lance Stephenson had a triple-double Sunday to take back the NBA lead, which Noah tied with his fourth of the seson on Wednesday.
Description: Boston C/PF Kelly Olynyk poured in 25 points Saturday in a 111-99 victory over the Cavs.
Insight: Olynyk's 12 rebounds were a career-high. Jared Sullinger and Kris Humphries were both absent on Saturday, which is probably why Olynyk was able to log 39 minutes. He's overachieved as a rookie, leading all first-year big men in points (8.2 ppg) and rebounds (5.1 rpg) despite being the No. 13 pick in the draft.
Description: Bobcats center Al Jefferson muscled his way to 29 points and 12 rebounds Saturday against Philadelphia.
Insight: The wins give Charlotte its first .500 season since 2010. Jefferson has been the most dominant center in professional hoops since the All-Star break, leading all NBA big men with 25.0 ppg in 27 second half appearances.
Description: Kings center DeMarcus Cousins notched 32 points, 12 boards, five assists, two blocks and a pair of steals Saturday in a loss to the Clippers.
Insight: Don't get too excited. The 32 points came on just 12-of-27 shooting (44.4 percent). Still, you have to respect Boogie's consistency. That was the 23-year-old's seventh consecutive double-double.
Description: Houston center Dwight Howard will be active for Saturday's game against New Orleans. SOURCE: Jenny Dial Creech, Houston Chronicle
Insight: It's the first time he's played since March 27th. The Rockets are also getting Patrick Beverley back from a torn meniscus. Head coach Kevin McHale hinted that he would be cautious with both players in their first games back so don't expect Howard (18.5 ppg, 12.3 rpg) or Beverley (9.9 ppg) to see their usual minutes.
Description: Houston center Dwight Howard (ankle) has missed the past eight games and is questionable for Saturday's game against New Orleans.
Insight: Howard has a right ankle strain and hasn't been available since March 27. Omer Asik has been a solid replacement and fantasy worthy averaging 11.1 ppg and 15.3 rebounds over the past six contests.
Description: Brooklyn center Andray Blatche missed his third straight game Friday.
Insight: Nets coach Jason Kidd said before the game that Blatche was available after he missed the last two games due to illness, but he didn't end up using the center. Mason Plumlee has moved ahead of him on the depth chart.
Description: Warriors C/PF Jermaine O'Neal (knee) will not play Friday against the Lakers, according to Rusty Simmons of the San Francisco Chronicle.
Insight: O'Neal has been solid lately with Andrew Bogut and David Lee dealing with injuries but the Warriors will have both players in the lineup Friday. He's missing Friday's game with left knee soreness.
Description: Minnesota center Nikola Pekovic (ankle) will not play Friday, according to Kent Youngblood of the Star Tribune.
Insight: It's looking more and more like the season is over for Pekovic. Rookie Gorgui Dieng has averaged 11.2 points, 8.8 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per game in April and 11.8 points, 10.9 rebounds and 1.4 blocks over his last 14 games.
Description: Pero Antic will play for the Hawks on Friday after missing Wednesday's game with ankle soreness, but Elton Brand will start, according to the Hawks on Twitter.
Insight: Brand had 13 points, 13 rebounds, three assists, three steals and one block in 33 minutes Wednesday. However, he hadn't scored double-digit points or grabbed double-digit rebounds in the previous five games.
Description: Atlanta center Pero Antic (ankle) is probable for Friday's game, according to Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Insight: Antic is dealing with soreness in his right ankle. The center missed more than a month with a stress fracture in the same ankle earlier this season. Elton Brand had 13 points, 13 rebounds, three assists, three steals and a block Wednesday with Antic out but he has less value with Antic active.
Description: Magic center Nikola Vucevic is expected to miss Friday's game against Washington.
Insight: He's still bothered by a sore Achilles. At this point, it's probably safe to assume that Vucevic won't play again this season, though he is traveling with the team. That leaves Kyle O'Quinn (5.8 ppg, 5.2 rpg) is getting about 28-30 minutes per game.
Description: Hawks center Elton Brand started Wednesday against Boston and had 13 points, 13 rebounds, three assists, three steals and one block.
Insight: Pero Antic was out with ankle soreness, allowing Brand to get the start. The veteran played 22+ minutes in each of the previous five games but didn't have double-digit points or rebounds in any of them.
Description: The Bucks activated PF/C Larry Sanders Wednesday so he could begin serving his five-game suspension. SOURCE: Bucks on Twitter
Insight: Sanders, who is done for the year with a facial fracture, was suspended for testing positive for marijuana. He'll get his suspension out of the way and be ready to go at the start of next season.
Description: Atlanta center Pero Antic (ankle) will miss Wednesday's game against Boston, according to Gary Washburn of the Boston Globe.
Insight: Antic is dealing with soreness in his right ankle. The center missed more than a month with a stress fracture in the same ankle earlier this season. Elton Brand and Mike Scott will see extra playing time.
Description: Minnesota center Nikola Pekovic (ankle) won't be available Wednesday.
Insight: This will be Pekovic's fifth straight absence and his 24th since Jan. 29 due to a right ankle injury. Rookie Gorgui Dieng has averaged 12 points, 11.1 rebounds, 1.2 blocks and 1.1 steals over his last 13 games and should be added in all leagues.
Description: Magic center Nikola Vucevic won't be in action Wednesday versus Brooklyn. SOURCE: John Denton, OrlandoMagic.com
Insight: He's been bothered by a sore Achilles. At this point, it's probably safe to assume that Vucevic won't play again this season. That leaves Kyle O'Quinn (5.7 ppg, 5.2 rpg) and Andrew Nicholson (5.4 ppg, 3.3 rpg) as the team's best low post options.
Description: Minnesota center Gorgui Dieng is quietly becoming a fantasy super-hero. Tuesday was his fourth 15-rebound game in his last 11 appearances.
Insight: Certainly none of this would be possible if Nikola Pekovic were healthy. But because he's not, the opportunistic Dieng (12 points, 15 rebounds on Tuesday) is quickly approaching must-start status. Give him a look Wednesday against Chicago.
Description: Jazz center Enes Kanter collected 15 points and 19 rebounds Tuesday in a loss to Dallas.
Insight: That's Kanter's highest rebounding total of the season. While many teams will be resting their starters down the stretch, Utah's rotation shouldn't see any sweeping changes over the final four games of the season. Make sure to have Kanter (12.1 ppg, 7.3 rpg) in your starting lineup Friday against Portland.
Description: Boogie Cousins paced the Kings with 24 points, 14 rebounds and two blocks Tuesday in a loss to OKC.
Insight: Cousins (22.3 ppg, 11.6 rpg) is pretty much a guaranteed double-double any time he steps on the court. He's certainly deserving of making the All-NBA team, though voters might pass over him because Sacramento hasn't had a good season (27-51, third-worst record in the Western Conference).
Description: Brooklyn will be without center Andray Blatche Tuesday against the Heat. SOURCE: Andy Vasquez, The Record
Insight: He's battling an illness. It's a shame because Blatche (11.3 ppg, 5.3 rpg) really could have exploited Miami's lack of size in the low post. Rookie Mason Plumlee (6.8 ppg, 4.1 rpg) should see a heavy workload at center.
Description: Thunder center Kendrick Perkins (groin) will play Tuesday and Wednesday, according to Darnell Mayberry of The Oklahoman.
Insight: Perkins returned from a groin injury last Thursday but sat out Friday and wasn't expected to play in back-to-backs the rest of the season. However, he'll be available for the next two. He's not a good fantasy option.
Description: Rockets center Dwight Howard (ankle) is expected to miss Tuesday's game against the LA Lakers.
Insight: So much for Howard visiting Los Angeles and all the fun that could come from that meeting. Howard's goal is to be ready for playoff time. Omer Asik has grabbed 84 rebounds over the past five games (16.8 rpg). Asik posted 18 points and 23 boards last time out.
Description: Boston C/F Jared Sullinger expects to play Wednesday against the Hawks despite sitting out Monday's practice with a quad injury. SOURCE: Gary Washburn, Boston Globe
Insight: Sullinger has had his moments this season, averaging 13 points and 7.8 rpg since the All-Star break. He should get more playing time in 2014-15 after Kris Humphries (8.5 ppg, 5.9 rpg) inevitably leaves in free agency.
Description: Houston center Omer Asik contributed 18 points, 23 rebounds, three steals and three blocked shots Sunday in a win against Denver.
Insight: Asik has been marvelous over the last five games, averaging 12.0 ppg, 16.8 rpg and 1.2 bpg during that stretch. His Achilles heel continues to be poor free throw shooting (59.3 percent for the season) but that's easy to overlook when you're getting a double-double every night.
Description: Indiana center Roy Hibbert was benched for the second half of Sunday's loss to Atlanta.
Insight: Hibbert had no points or rebounds in nine minutes of action. The Pacers have fallen apart, losing five out of six by an average of 16 points. They trail Miami by one game with four games remaining.
Description: Hawks center Pero Antic (sore right ankle) will be a game-time decision Sunday, according to Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Insight: He's dealing with soreness in his right ankle, the same ankle he had a stress fracture in earlier this season. The center has averaged 9.5 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.5 threes in 22 starts this season. If he can't go, Elton Brand will start in his place.
Description: Heat PF/C Chris Anderson (knee, back) will not play Sunday, according to Ira Winderman of the Sun Sentinel.
Insight: Knee and back injuries will ground the Birdman, who has averaged 8.1 points, 7.1 rebounds and 1.9 blocks over his last 16 games. Miami will spread his minutes out to several players, including Chris Bosh, Shane Battier, Michael Beasley, Udonis Haslem and Rashard Lewis.
Description: Toronto center Jonas Valanciunas has averaged 33.8 minutes, 16.6 points, 9.9 rebounds and 0.9 blocks over his last seven games.
Insight: Valanciunas had 17 points, 13 rebounds, three assists and one block Saturday against the Bucks. Toronto played the 21-year-old only 27.2 minutes per game over his first 63 games but has given him 32.4 per contest over the last 13.
Description: Bucks center John Henson put up 23 points, nine rebounds, six assists, three blocks and one steal in 39 minutes Saturday against Toronto.
Insight: Henson hadn't played that many minutes since Feb. 8 and he only saw that many because Zaza Pachulia picked up four personal fouls in nine minutes. For some reason, the Bucks have been reluctant to turn Henson loose (probably because they are trying to lose every game at this point), even with Ersan Ilyasova and Larry Sanders done for the season . Henson has averaged just 23.9 minutes per game over his last 24 games.
Description: Magic PF/C Kyle O'Quinn scored 14 points, grabbed 13 rebounds and blocked four shots Saturday against the Timberwolves.
Insight: The Magic were without Nikola Vucevic (Achilles) for a second straight game. O'Quinn has rejected 2.2 shots per game over his last 18 games despite playing just 22 minutes per game in that span.
Description: Minnesota center Nikola Pekovic (ankle) will miss Saturday's game, according to Andy Greder of the St. Paul Pioneer Press.
Insight: This will be Pekovic's third straight absence and his 22nd since Jan. 29 due to a right ankle injury. Rookie Gorgui Dieng has averaged 12.4 points, 12.1 rebounds, 1.4 blocks and 1.3 steals in eight starts this season and should be owned in all leagues.
Description: Rockets center Dwight Howard (ankle) missed Friday's game against OKC and is expected to miss Sunday's game against Denver.
Insight: Howard had his ankle drained recently and will need more time to heal. The Rockets know its more important that Howard is healthy for playoff time. Omer Asik has grabbed 61 rebounds over the past four games (15.2 rpg).
Description: Detroit center Andre Drummond racked up 23 points and 18 rebounds Friday in a loss to Brooklyn.
Insight: Drummond has produced 14 or more rebounds in each of his last three games. He's one of three players in the NBA averaging at least 13 ppg and 12 rpg this season (Dwight Howard and Kevin Love).
Description: Minnesota center Nikola Pekovic will take a seat Friday against the Heat. SOURCE: Jerry Zygoda, Minneapolis Star Tribune
Insight: Ankle issues have limited Pekovic to just ten games since the All-Star break. At this point in the season, there's no reason for Pekovic to come back and risk getting hurt again. Gorgui Dieng (3.6 ppg, 4.1 rpg) is the guy you want to own in fantasy.
Description: Cavs center Anderson Varejao is active for Friday night's game against the Hawks. SOURCE: Cleveland Plain Dealer
Insight: He missed a game earlier this week with a shoulder injury. It's unknown if Varejao will be on any kind of minutes restriction. Either way, it's hard to trust him with Spencer Hawes averaging 30 mpg.
Description: Golden State center Andrew Bogut will miss Friday's game with Sacramento.
Insight: He'll still nursing a bruised pelvis. Jermaine O'Neal (7.7 ppg, 5.4 rpg) has gotten the start at center these past few games with Bogut sidelined. However, O'Neal played just four minutes against the Spurs.
Description: Timberwolves center Nikola Pekovic (sore right ankle) did not play Wednesday and is doubtful Friday's game against Miami.
Insight: Pekovic missed 13 games in February, six more in March and the first game in April for the same reason. Gorgui Dieng has averaged 12.7 ppg, 14.0 rpg as a starter and should be added in all leagues.
Description: Rockets center Dwight Howard (ankle) will miss Friday's game against OKC, according to the Houston Chronicle.
Insight: Howard had his ankle drained and will need more time to heal. The Rockets know its more important that Howard is healthy for playoff time. Omer Asik has put up quality fantasy number in Howard's absence averaging 11 ppg and 16.3 rpg over his last three contests.
Description: Cleveland center Anderson Varejao has a chance to play Friday against Atlanta. SOURCE: Cleveland Plain Dealer
Insight: Varejao (8.6 ppg, 10.0 rpg) missed Wednesday's game after suffering a sprained AC joint in his right shoulder. He hasn't been as useful to fantasy owners since the team acquired Spencer Hawes from Philadelphia at the trade deadline (7.8 ppg, 8.8 rpg for Varejao since the All-Star break).
