Description: Zach Randolph has agreed to a two-year, $20 million extension with Memphis. SOURCE: Adrian Wojnarowski, Yahoo Sports

Description: The Grizzlies are working on a contract extension with power forward Zach Randolph. SOURCE: Marc Stein, ESPN
Insight: Randolph (17.4 ppg, 10.1 rpg) is scheduled to become a free agent on July 1st. Though other teams will definitely be interested, we're betting Randolph stays put.
Mike Conley, G5/2/2014 6:47:00 PM
Description: Memphis guard Mike Conley reported soreness in his hamstring after Thursday night's loss to Oklahoma City. SOURCE: Rob Fischer, Fox Sports

Zach Randolph, F5/2/2014 6:34:00 PM
Description: In a surprise move, the league has suspended Memphis power forward Zach Randolph for Saturday's Game 7 versus OKC. SOURCE: NBA.com
Insight: The ban is for punching Thunder center Steven Adams during Game 6. Memphis has gone 6-3 without Z-Bo over the last two seasons but this is certainly not an ideal situation.
Mike Conley, G5/1/2014 10:47:00 PM
Description: Memphis guard Mike Conley left Thursday's game with a hamstring strain but returned later on. SOURCE: Memphis Commercial Appeal
Insight: He finished with five points, four rebounds and six assists as the Grizzlies lost by 20. The five points was easily Conley's lowest total of the series. We're expecting him to play Saturday in Game 7.
Marc Gasol, C4/30/2014 9:28:00 AM
Description: Marc Gasol paced the Grizzlies with 11 points, 15 rebounds and two blocks Tuesday in a thrilling win over OKC.
Insight: This series has been nothing short of incredible with each of the last four games requiring at least one overtime period. Gasol has been very effective throughout the series, generating 16 ppg, 9.4 rpg and 4.2 apg over that span. Memphis can advance to the Western Conference semi-finals with a win Thursday in Game 6.
Tayshaun Prince, F4/21/2014 10:08:00 AM
Description: Memphis small forward Tayshaun Prince (illness) is probable for Game 2 of Western Conference Quarterfinals Monday against Oklahoma City.
Insight: Prince (6.0 ppg, 3.1 rpg, 1.6 apg) practiced on Sunday and is expected to play on Monday, but has little fantasy value.
Nick Calathes, G4/18/2014 8:27:00 PM
Description: Grizzlies guard Nick Calathes has been handed a 20-game suspension effective immediately for violating the league's drug policy. SOURCE: Sam Amick, USA Today
Insight: He tested positive for Tamoxifen, a drug commonly associated with steroid use. Unless the Grizzlies make it to the finals, we won't be seeing Calathes (4.9 ppg) during this year's postseason.
Mike Conley, G4/15/2014 2:08:00 PM
Description: Memphis point guard Mike Conley injured his right hamstring in Monday's win, but played through the pain.
Insight: Conley has averaged just 17.1 ppg, 2.9 rpg, 6.1 apg this season. The hamstring could tighten before Wednesday's regular season finale as the Grizzlies clinched a playoff spot with Monday's win over the Suns.
Tayshaun Prince, F4/10/2014 5:54:00 PM
Description: Memphis small forward Tayshaun Prince (ankle) will not play Friday, according to Ronald Tillery of the Commercial Appeal.
Insight: Prince (6.0 ppg, 3.0 rpg, 1.6 apg) suffered a sprained left ankle on April 4 and hasn't returned to the lineup. His absence has opened up more playing time for James Johnson.
Zach Randolph, F4/4/2014 10:35:00 PM
Description: Grizzlies forward Zach Randolph totaled 20 points, 15 rebounds, four assists, three blocked shots and two steals Friday in a win against Denver.
Insight: Z-Bo shot just 7-of-22 from the field but offset that by knocking down all six free throw attempts. Randolph's scoring average (17.3 ppg in 73 games) is his highest since 2011.
Tayshaun Prince, F4/4/2014 9:24:00 PM
Description: Memphis small forward Tayshaun Prince exited Friday's game with a sprained left ankle. SOURCE: Grizzlies on Twitter
Insight: He's done for the night. With Prince out, Mike Miller will see some extra minutes at small forward.
Tony Allen, G3/24/2014 7:43:00 PM
Description: The Grizzlies will be without Tony Allen Monday against Minnesota. SOURCE: Rob Fischer, Fox Sports
Insight: He's battling a stomach bug. Fantasy owners might want to give Courtney Lee a look. He averaged 33.1 mpg when Allen (9.8 ppg) missed time with an injured wrist last month.
Marc Gasol, C3/22/2014 10:51:00 PM
Description: Grizzlies center Marc Gasol played 39 minutes and had 10 points, nine rebounds, two assists, two blocks and a steal Saturday against the Pacers.

Description: Grizzlies center Marc Gasol sprained his left ankle Friday versus the Heat and is questionable, at best, for Saturday's game against Indiana.

Zach Randolph, F3/21/2014 10:29:00 PM
Description: Memphis power forward Zach Randolph went ballistic Friday in a loss to Miami.
Insight: He torched the Heat for 25 points, 14 rebounds and four assists. He's been solid all season for the Grizzlies and should have another strong game Saturday against Indiana.
Marc Gasol, C3/21/2014 9:59:00 PM
Description: Grizzlies center Marc Gasol won't return after spraining his left ankle Friday versus the Heat. SOURCE: Jason Jackson, Heat TV
Insight: He'll end the night with 14 points on 6-of-11 shooting. If Gasol misses time, Kosta Koufos (6.9 ppg, 5.6 rpg) will see more minutes at center.
Marc Gasol, CHot3/12/2014 10:45:00 PM
Description: Memphis center Marc Gasol has scored in double figures in 11 consecutive games.
Insight: Gasol has averaged 16.3 points, 7.9 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.8 blocks and 1.1 steals in that span. He had 15 points, nine rebounds and four assists Wednesday against the Pelicans.
Mike Conley, GCold3/12/2014 7:48:00 PM
Description: Memphis point guard Mike Conley is feeling under the weather but will play Wednesday, according to Ronald Tillery of the Commercial Appeal.
Insight: Conley has averaged just 13.9 ppg on 35.9 percent shooting in 11 games since he returned from an ankle sprain, though he has been better in his last six with 15.5 ppg on .398 shooting.
Tony Allen, G3/11/2014 10:31:00 PM
Description: In 10 games since he returned from a fractured wrist, Memphis guard Tony Allen has averaged 22.7 minutes, 10 points, 4.6 rebounds and 0.8 steals per game.
Insight: He saw 26.6 minutes per game and put up 10.2 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.0 steals per game prior to the injury, but the Grizzlies picked up Courtney Lee while Allen was out of the lineup. His steals were the only thing keeping his fantasy value afloat earlier this season and now that he's not even getting one a game he's not worth owning.
James Johnson, F3/8/2014 4:47:00 PM
Description: Memphis power forward James Johnson picked up a DNP-Coach's Decision Friday at Chicago.
Insight: He missed Monday's game with a sprained ankle and played just 14 minutes in his return to action on Wednesday. Johnson helped the Grizzlies on the wings when Tony Allen was out but he can be dropped in all leagues.
Marc Gasol, C3/7/2014 9:54:00 PM
Description: Memphis center Marc Gasol led the way with 18 points, ten rebounds and three blocks Friday in a win against Chicago.
Insight: Gasol put up similar numbers in Wednesday's loss to Brooklyn (18 points, seven rebounds on 7-for-14 shooting). He's looked sharp since the All-Star break, averaging 15.4 ppg over his last nine appearances.
Mike Miller, G3/7/2014 7:01:00 PM
Description: Grizzlies swingman Mike Miller is in the lineup Friday against Chicago. SOURCE: Memphis Commercial Appeal
Insight: Miller (6.9 ppg) took a shot to the face Wednesday against the Nets and needed six stitches to close the wound. He's been held without a point in two of his last three games. Fantasy owners should be looking elsewhere.
Zach Randolph, F3/7/2014 6:08:00 PM
Description: Grizzlies forward Zach Randolph will be active for Friday's contest against Chicago. He sat out Wednesday's game because of an illness.
Insight: We reported earlier that Randolph was probable to play so this shouldn't come as a surprise. Randolph (17.3 ppg, 10.3 rpg) played poorly the last time these teams met, shooting just 4-for-15 with five turnovers. We'll see if he has better luck this time around.
Zach Randolph, F3/7/2014 2:26:00 PM
Description: Memphis power forward Zach Randolph should be upgraded to probable for Friday's game against Chicago, according to Grizzlies beat writer Ronald Tillery.
Insight: Stick Kosta Koufos, who amassed 12 points and eight rebounds in just 19 minutes against Brooklyn with Z-Bo sidelined back on the bench and make sure Randolph is back in your lineup.
Mike Miller, G3/7/2014 11:35:00 AM
Description: Memphis guard Mike Miller is questionable for Friday's game against Chicago after taking a hit to the head which caused a cut over his left eye.
Insight: Miller has been held scoreless in two of his last three games and should not be anywhere near a fantasy lineup these days.
Zach Randolph, F3/7/2014 11:32:00 AM
Description: Memphis power forward Zach Randolph is questionable for Friday's game against Chicago with an illness that kept hi, out of Wednesday's game.
Insight: Ed Davis got the start, but has proven he can't put up numbers. Kosta Koufos amassed 12 points and eight rebounds in just 19 minutes against Brooklyn and would seem to be the guy to use if Z-Bo can't go on Friday.
Zach Randolph, F3/5/2014 6:40:00 PM
Description: Memphis will likely be without forward Zach Randolph Wednesday against Brooklyn. SOURCE: Ronald Tillery, Memphis Commercial Appeal
Insight: Randolph is feeling a bit under the weather. James Johnson (8.5 ppg, 3.9 rpg), who is returning from a sprained ankle, could start in Z-Bo's place.
James Johnson, F3/5/2014 6:33:00 PM
Description: Memphis power forward James Johnson will return to action Wednesday against the Nets. SOURCE: Memphis Commercial Appeal
Insight: He missed Monday's game with a sprained ankle. Johnson (8.5 ppg, 3.9 rpg) is owned in fewer than five percent of fantasy leagues.
Mike Conley, G3/3/2014 10:13:00 PM
Description: Memphis point guard Mike Conley shot just 23-of-76 (.303) from the field in his last six games of February, but he's scored at least 20 points in each of the first two games this month.

Insight: He made 8-of-11 from the field (2-3 3PT) and 3-3 from the free-throw line for 21 points with six rebounds and a steal Monday. Prince's previous season-high was just 16 points on Nov. 25, and he is averaging just 6.3 ppg this season despite starting 56 games.

Marc Gasol, C3/2/2014 9:35:00 AM
Description: Grizzlies center Marc Gasol had a busy night Saturday against Cleveland.

Zach Randolph, F3/2/2014 9:30:00 AM
Description: Grizzlies power forward Zach Randolph looked terrific Saturday in a win against Cleveland.
Insight: Z-Bo tormented the Cavs for 23 points, 14 rebounds and four steals. Randolph ranks third among power forwards in rebounding (10.3 rpg) this season and is ninth in scoring (17.3 ppg). He's one of 11 players in the league averaging a double-double.

Description: The Grizzlies have claimed point guard Beno Udrih off waivers from the Knicks, according to Marc Stein of ESPN.
Insight: Udrih averaged just 19 minutes per game over 31 games with the Knicks this season and won't have any fantasy value as Memphis' third point guard behind Mike Conley and Nick Calathes.
Tony Allen, G2/21/2014 3:34:00 PM
Description: Memphis guard Tony Allen (wrist) said he'll return Friday against the Clippers after getting through a Wednesday practice.
Insight: The guard hasn't been able to play since Jan. 3 because of a fractured wrist. Aside from his 2.0 steals per game he isn't a great fantasy option. His return will hurt Courtney Lee value.
Tony Allen, G2/19/2014 3:06:00 PM
Description: Memphis guard Tony Allen (wrist) said he'll return Friday against the Clippers barring a setback, according to Ronald Tillery of the Memphis Commercial Appeal. Allen says he doesn't mind coming off the bench. "I really don't want to be disruptive," he said.
Insight: Allen also might be traded before Friday. The guard hasn't been able to play since Jan. 3 because of a fractured wrist. Aside from his 2.0 steals per game he wasn't a great fantasy option to begin with, and now he'll have to deal with competition from Courtney Lee, James Johnson and Nick Calathes when he returns from his injury.
Mike Conley, G2/18/2014 10:37:00 PM
Description: Memphis point guard Mike Conley only made 6-of-15 from the field Tuesday in his return from a seven-game absence, but he hit 10-of-12 from the foul line and finished with 22 points.
Insight: Conley played 31 minutes and appears to be fine after sitting out with a sprained ankle. Nick Calathes was successful with Conley out but he played just 19 minutes Tuesday. He still had 11 points and five assists but he's going to have a hard time contributing fantasy-worthy numbers most games now that he's back on the bench.

Description: Memphis center Marc Gasol (knee) is in head coach Dave Joerger's starting lineup.

Insight: Allen hasn't been able to play since Jan. 3 because of a fractured wrist. Lee has averaged 13.9 ppg on 50.5 percent shooting in 19 games since joining the Grizzlies.

Description: An MRI on Marc Gasol's injured knee didn't show any structural damage. SOURCE: Ronald Tillery, Commercial Appeal
Insight: Gasol suffered the injury Wednesday against the Magic. The encouraging MRI results suggest Gasol (13.2 ppg, 6.4 rpg, 1.1 bpg) could be back in the lineup as soon as Tuesday against New York.
Courtney Lee, SGHot2/12/2014 9:52:00 PM
Description: Grizzlies guard Courtney Lee scored 17 points and recovered six boards Wednesday at Orlando.

Marc Gasol, C2/12/2014 8:40:00 PM

The 26-year-old is averaging a career-high 18 ppg, 6.3 apg and 1.6 spg this season. Replacement Nick Calathes has been excellent with averages of 15.2 points, 4.7 rebounds, 4.7 assists, 2.3 steals and 1.5 threes during Conley's absence.

Nick Calathes, GHot2/11/2014 10:32:00 PM
Description: Memphis guard Nick Calathes had another fantastic game Tuesday against the Wizards, scoring 18 points with seven rebounds, six assists, two steals and a three in 36 minutes.

Conley's backup, Nick Calathes, has averaged 11.0 ppg, 4.2 rpg, 4.4 apg and 2.4 spg as a starter over the past five games.

Mike Miller, G2/5/2014 1:13:00 PM
Description: Memphis guard Mike Miller (illness) missed shootaround and will be a game-time decision Wednesday night against the Mavericks, according to Grizzlies sideline reporter Rob Fischer.

Nick Calathes, GHot2/3/2014 11:46:00 AM
Description: Memphis backup guard Nick Calathes saw the most benefits from the absence of Mike Conley (ankle sprain), playing 40 minutes.
Insight: Calathes should get about four more chances to prove whether his 22-point outing Saturday night was a fluke or for real. Still, when Conley returns he'll go back to playing his 13 minutes per night.
Nick Calathes, G2/2/2014 7:29:00 PM
Description: Nick Calathes started at shooting guard for the Grizzlies Saturday night and had 22 points, five rebounds, four threes, three assists and one steal over 40 minutes.

Description: Memphis guard Mike Conley (right ankle sprain) is questionable for Saturday's game against Milwaukee.
Insight: Conley rolled his ankle when he stepped on Minnesota guard J.J. Barea's foot late in Friday's game. Courtney Lee handled the point and Mike Miller played most of the minutes at shooting guard. Expect that to be the case on Saturday.
Mike Conley, G1/31/2014 11:03:00 PM
Description: Memphis guard Mike Conley was diagnosed with a right ankle sprain and he will be reevaluated Saturday, according to Chris Vernon of 92.9 FM ESPN Memphis.
Insight: Conley rolled his ankle when he stepped on Minnesota guard J.J. Barea's foot in the third quarter Friday. He couldn't put any weight on his ankle and was helped to the locker room. He has been carrying Memphis this month and would be a devastating loss for a very thin Grizzlies team. Description: Grizzlies power forward Zach Randolph has scored at least 21 points in four straight games.
Insight: He has pulled down double-digit rebounds in five straight. He only averaged 12.6 points and 8.1 rebounds over his first eight games but has those averages up to 16.5 points and 9.4 rebounds after going off in the last four.
Marc Gasol, CHot11/21/2013 3:58:00 PM
Description: Grizzlies center Marc Gasol has produced 19.2 points, 9.2 rebounds, 6.6 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.4 blocks per game over his last five games.
Insight: Memphis has won four games in a row after a 3-5 start, and Gasol's play has been a big part of the winning streak. He's one of the top centers in fantasy.
Tony Allen, G11/19/2013 5:33:00 PM
Description: Memphis guard Tony Allen has been suspended one game for kicking Los Angeles PG Chris Paul in the face Monday night.
Insight: Allen kicked up his leg when Paul was driving in the line and caught him in the face. Several players, including Jerryd Bayless, Mike Miller, Quincy Pondexter and Tayshaun Prince, will absorb Allen's minutes, but none have fantasy value.
Marc Gasol, C11/16/2013 9:23:00 AM
Description: Memphis big man Marc Gasol had another excellent all-around game Friday night against the Lakers.
Insight: He put up 18 points, eight boards, three blocks, three steals and eight rebounds. The 2013 NBA Defensive Player of the Year is off to a great start (16.2 ppg, 6.9 rpg), though the same can't be said of his 4-5 Grizzlies.
Quincy Pondexter, SF11/15/2013 10:53:00 AM
Description: Grizzlies guard-forward Quincy Pondexter is questionable for Friday's game against the LA Lakers due to a broken nose.
Insight: Pondexter has no fantasy value at his current production level which is 4.1 ppg, 1.1 rpg, 1.3 apg. Mike Miller and Tayshaun Prince should absorb his 14 minutes per game.
Jerryd Bayless, G11/13/2013 8:42:00 PM
Description: Memphis guard Jerryd Bayless returned Wednesday after missing two games with a sprained knee. SOURCE: Memphis Commercial Appeal
Insight: Bayless' return probably won't have fantasy owners jumping out of their seats but for the Grizzlies, it will be good to have some depth behind starters Tony Allen and Mike Conley.
Quincy Pondexter, SF11/13/2013 3:43:00 PM
Description: Grizzlies guard-forward Quincy Pondexter (nose) will miss Wednesday's game, according to Ronald Tillery of the Commercial Appeal.

Insight: Pondexter came in averaging 17 mpg as part of a three-headed small forward rotation with Mike Miller and starter Tayshaun Prince.
Jerryd Bayless, G11/11/2013 1:59:00 PM
Description: Grizzlies backup point guard Jerryd Bayless is questionable for Monday's game against Indiana while dealing with a sprained right knee.
Insight: Bayless really hasn't produced anything noteworthy this season. Tony Allen may play a little point guard if Mike Conley needs a rest if Bayless can't go.
Jerryd Bayless, G11/9/2013 7:55:00 PM
Description: A sprained knee will keep Grizzlies backup point guard Jerryd Bayless out of the lineup Saturday against Golden State. SOURCE: Ronald Tillery, Commercial Appeal
Insight: Bayless netted 15 points in Monday's win over Boston, but other than that, he really hasn't produced anything noteworthy this season. Tony Allen may play a little point guard if Mike Conley needs a rest tonight.
Jerryd Bayless, G11/7/2013 5:16:00 PM
Description: Grizzlies guard Jerryd Bayless left Wednesday's game and is day-to-day with a right knee sprain.
Insight: Bayless is averaging 21 minutes and 8.6 ppg this season, nearly identical to what he accomplished in 2012-13. He's not a fantasy option.
Mike Conley, G11/6/2013 11:11:00 PM
Description: Grizzlies point guard Mike Conley scored a season-high 26 points Wednesday against the Pelicans.
Insight: Conley took on more of a scoring role following the Rudy Gay trade last season and he has kept it up to start this season. He's averaging 20.2 ppg and has had three games with at least 22 points.
Zach Randolph, F11/6/2013 9:08:00 PM
Description: Grizzlies power forward Zach Randolph left Wednesday's game after his fiance went into labor.
Insight: Randolph played just eight minutes and scored two points before departing for the hospital. Memphis has off Thursday and Friday before playing Saturday against the Warriors. Z-Bo should be back Saturday.
