Nationals minor leaguer Bynum suspended

New York, NY (Sports Network) - Washington National minor league infielder Seth Bynum was suspended 50 games after testing positive for an amphetamine, a performance-enhancing substance, in violation of the Minor League Drug Prevention and Treatment Program.

Bynum has been playing for Triple-A Syracuse and was batting .248 with four homers and 17 RBI in 29 games.
