Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) -
Back in time for the final handful of games is San Antonio Spurs point guard Tony Parker. It couldn't come at a better time for the Spurs, who will be without the services of George Hill for tonight and probably tomorrow.
Parker missed 16 consecutive games with an injury to his shooting hand (fractured fourth metacarpal), so keep that in mind as you consider putting him back in your lineup.
He was having another fine season, though not quite up to last year when he averaged career-highs in points (22.0 ppg) and assists (6.9 apg). In 2009-10 Parker is averaging 16.5 ppg, 2.4 rpg, and 5.7 apg. He's likely playing at the same level as in 2008-09, it's just that last year Parker had to pick up the pace to compensate for an injured Manu Ginobili and this year Ginobili is back and playing well.
Parker will end up the year having disappointed fantasy owners who drafted him in the fourth or fifth round (ADP 65). Still, for those who have missed Parker in their fantasy lineup, he could give you one final week's worth of production.
