Description: Lamar Odom is officially a New York Knick. SOURCE: NBA.com
Insight: For now at least, His contract includes an option for next season. Odom averaged 4.0 ppg for the Clippers last season and probably won't fare much better in New York in 2014-15.

Description: The Knicks are considering signing former Lakers and Clippers forward Lamar Odom before the end of the regular season. SOURCE: Marc Stein, ESPN
Insight: They'll have to hurry. New York's last game is on Wednesday (the Hawks officially eliminated them on Saturday). Odom last played for the Euroleague Laboral Kuxta in Spain about two months ago. Teams have been hesitant to sign Odom because of his recent off-court issues including a drunk driving arrest in August.

Description: The Lakers and Clippers would both be open to reuniting with troubled forward Lamar Odom. SOURCE: ESPN Los Angeles
Insight: Odom's bizarre behavior this past summer led to speculation that he might have a drug problem. The good news is, that "dark time" as Odom has referred to it, appears to be over. He's back on the court and looking for another chance to play in the NBA. If these reports are accurate, he should get it sooner rather than later.

9/1/2013 3:36:00 PM
Description: Former Lakers and Clippers forward Lamar Odom continued his downward spiral by getting arrested for DUI on Friday morning.
Insight: According to TMZ, he failed multiple sobriety tests and declined to take any chemical tests. Odom hasn't attracted much interest as a free agent this offseason and this probably won't help matters.

Description: The Clippers appear to be moving on without Lamar Odom. SOURCE: L.A. Daily News
Insight: Rumors have circulated about Odom using drugs, though the reason for the Clippers moving on has more to do with Antawn Jamison than any of Odom's off-court issues. Jamison, who signed for the veteran's minimum on Tuesday, plays the same position as Odom and brings more to the table than he does.

Description: Lamar Odom's agent Jeff Schwartz has refuted a report that Odom is missing. SOURCE: ESPN.com
Insight: TMZ reported Sunday that Odom had been missing for 72 hours but apparently that isn't the case. The website also reported that Odom may be battling drug addiction. Odom is not currently under contract by an NBA team.

7/7/2013 10:14:00 AM
Description: The Lakers are interested in bringing back Lamar Odom. SOURCE: Ramona Shelburne, ESPN Los Angeles
Insight: Odom spent seven seasons with the Lakers from 2004 to 2011 before being traded to Dallas. In 82 games for the Clippers last season, he averaged 4.0 ppg while playing a career-low 19.7 minutes per game. Wherever he ends up this offseason, Odom won't be able to help fantasy owners much in 2013-14.

2/24/2013 9:39:00 AM
Description: Los Angeles Clippers forward Lamar Odom had 18 points with six rebounds, one steal and two threes in 23 minutes Saturday against Utah.
Insight: Believe it or not, the 18 points are a season high for Odom. In fact, Saturday was just the second time this season Odom has scored in double figures.

2/18/2013 12:12:00 PM
Description: Los Angeles Clippers forward Lamar Odom is probable for Thursday's game against San Antonio with a scratched eye.
Insight: Odom plays the same position as superstar Blake Griffin so hasn't seen a ton of minutes this season (19 mpg) and that's not going to change except for an injury. He's averaging 3.7 ppg, 5.9 rpg, 1.9 apg and won't have fantasy value unless he sees 30 minutes a game.

12/25/2012 1:00:00 PM
Description: Los Angeles Clippers forward Lamar Odom is questionable for Tuesday's game against Denver with a sprained left ankle.
Insight: Odom plays the same position as Blake Griffin so hasn't seen a ton of minutes this season (16 mpg). He's averaging 3.2 ppg, 4.6 rpg, 1.2 apg and won't have fantasy value unless he sees a lot more minutes.

10/27/2012 6:16:00 PM
Description: Los Angeles forward Lamar Odom is questionable for Wednesday night's season opener against Memphis. Odom has been bothered by a bruised foot.
Insight: Odom plays the same position as Blake Griffin so he probably won't see a ton of minutes this season. It probably doesn't help that he supposedly reported to training camp out of shape.

10/25/2012 9:49:00 AM
Description: Clippers coach Vinny Del Negro said he hopes forward Lamar Odom (knee) can play in the season opener, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Insight: Odom came into camp out of shape and overweight and has been dealing with a bone bruise in his left knee. He has a lot to prove before we recommend him in fantasy.

10/18/2012 4:55:00 PM
Description: Clippers forward Lamar Odom is reportedly out of shape and overweight, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Insight: "He's got to work through some conditioning things and some health things right now, which he's doing," Clippers coach Vinny Del Negro said. "Yeah, I wish he was in a little bit better conditioning, and he wishes he was. But he's just got to continue to work every day and I'm sure he'll get there eventually." We're not so sure after Odom lost his desire to play once he was traded to Dallas last season. If a move back to Los Angeles isn't going to motivate him, nothing will.

6/29/2012 9:08:00 PM
Description: Dallas has dealt forward Lamar Odom to the Los Angeles Clippers as part of a four-team trade. Odom spent one season in Dallas, where he averaged 6.6 ppg.
Insight: The forward now moves back to the team that drafted him fourth overall in 1999, and the city where he thrived for seven seasons prior to 2011-12. Odom in Dallas was never a good fit, as the 6-foot-10 New York native has made it clear that he needs to live by a beach. Now that he's back in Los Angeles, he should be able to recapture some of his past success.

4/9/2012 2:22:00 PM
Description: Lamar Odom and the Dallas Mavericks have parted ways.
Insight: Odom is not available to another team as he has not been released and will be paid through the remainder of the season. The 2012 version of Odom was not fantasy worthy (6.6 ppg, 4.2 rpg, 1.7 apg) and played nothing like the 2010-11 Sixth Man of the Year (14.4 ppg, 8.7 rpg, 3.0 apg).

4/3/2012 4:42:00 PM
Description: Lamar Odom was back at practice Tuesday but is still questionable for Wednesday night's game against Memphis. Odom has been sick since Friday.
Insight: Odom only scored in double figures twice in March so we're not expecting much, even if he is in the lineup Wednesday.

4/2/2012 7:58:00 PM
Description: Lamar Odom will miss Monday night's game against the Clippers with an illness.
Insight: Odom has had a high fever since Friday, when he left the game after playing just 13 minutes. Brandan Wright (6.4 ppg, 3.1 rpg) might get a few more minutes with Odom out of the lineup tonight, but probably still not enough to be considered fantasy relevant.

4/1/2012 3:49:00 PM
Description: Lamar Odom was sent home from practice with a fever. It's the same illness that forced Odom to exit Friday's game against the Magic after playing only 13 minutes.
Insight: Odom has not been particularly helpful in fantasy this season (6.9 ppg, 4.3 rpg). For now, he's questionable for Monday night's game against the Clippers.

5/8/2011 7:36:00 PM
Description: Lamar Odom committed a flagrant-2 to end his day that included 10 points and two boards in 18 minutes.
Insight: Odom hacked Dirk in the fourth quarter and he certainly deserved to be ejected. He had a very nice season this year even as Gasol and Bynum stayed fairly healthy. He'll probably slide in your draft, which makes him a value pick in the late-middle rounds.

5/3/2011 2:30:00 AM
Description: Lamar Odom showed Jason Terry and Co. a thing or two about being a productive sixth man with 15 points and 12 boards in 31 minutes.
Insight: Odom, Bynum, and Gasol are going to drive the Mavericks insane in this series and keeping them all in check seems like a futile effort. Sure, they got a lot better than previous years with the addition of Tyson Chanlder, but it is far from a strength. No other Laker besides Kobe scored more than 15, so the Mavs picked the right poison.
