Description: According to the San Diego Union-Tribune, Chargers receiver Vincent Brown has stood out this spring.
Insight: "He’s not quite 6 feet tall, not quite 200 pounds, not a guy who would win a foot race against almost any cornerback," according to Union-Tribune beat writers. "But he plays tall, plays big, plays fast." Brown was impressive last preseason before breaking his ankle and missing the entire year. He could have a big year in coach Mike McCoy\'s short-passing offense.

Description: According to the L.A. Times, trade talks between the Clippers and Celtics are dead. The proposed swap would have sent Kevin Garnett and head coach Doc Rivers to Los Angeles for DeAndre Jordan and a pair of first round picks.
Insight: The cost of signing Rivers and having to pay $3 million for the trade kicker in Jordan\'s contract was what caused the Clippers to back out of the deal. Now the Celtics face an uncertain future with Rivers likely to return to broadcasting and Garnett again contemplating retirement.
