Alex Smith, QB, KAN9/30/2014 9:22:00 AM
Description: Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith at his best Monday night, throwing for 248 yards and three scores. Insight: Smith was 20-of-26 on the evening. That\'s about as good as you are going to get from him because of the Chiefs\' weak receiving corps.
Knile Davis, RB, KAN9/30/2014 9:19:00 AM
Description: Even with Jamaal Charles returning to the starting lineup, Chiefs running back Knile Davis produced for fantasy owners. Insight: Davis rushed 16 times for 107 yards and caught one pass for 12 yards. It\'s not last weekend\'s total, but still double-digit fantasy points.

Corey Hart, DH, SEA9/29/2014 9:56:00 PM
Description: Mariners designated hitter Corey Hart for assignment on Monday. Insight: Seattle had to make space for Jesus Montero, who came off the suspended list on Monday. Hart will be a free agent this winter.
 Alex Rodriguez, 3B, NYY9/29/2014 9:40:00 PM
Description: Yankees manager Joe Girardi told ESPN New York on Monday that he expects Alex Rodriguez to be the team\'s third baseman next season. Insight: Girardi went on to say A-Rod doesn\'t automatically have the job, but he should be able to be the everyday third baseman if healthy. Even though this news likely makes Yankee fans want to puke, the team could really use a power right-handed bat. That\'s if Rodriguez can be somewhat of his old self. Reality seems to have set in for Rodriguez, who must have figured out he stood almost no chance of winning this case in federal court. A-Rod will sit out the entire 2014 season as he serves a 162-game PED suspension. Rodriguez will not be reporting to spring training later this month.

 Kobe Bryant, G, LAL9/29/2014 10:22:00 PM
Description: Lakers guard Kobe Bryant expects to play in the team\'s preseason opener on Oct. 6 after recovering from a fractured lateral tibial plateau in his left knee according to Yahoo Sports. Insight: Los Angeles still expects Bryant to average 23 points per game. Head coach Bryon Scott said he expects Bryant to be healthy all 82 games, and if that happens, Bryant could be a fantasy steal based on where he will be picked this year.
Paul George, SF, IND9/29/2014 10:01:00 PM
Description: Pacers forward Paul George said he is hoping to return for the playoffs as long as Indiana makes it according to Insight: George fractured his leg while playing for Team USA on Aug. 1. He was walking around without a walking boot on Monday, which is encouraging, but it is still very unlikely he plays at all this year. Do not draft him in any fantasy leagues.

 Marek Zidlicky, D, MIN9/29/2014 6:52:00 PM
Description: Devils defenseman Marek Zidlicky is a high-end No. 3 defenseman in fantasy this year. Insight: Zidlicky will start the year playing the point on the Devils power play. Eventually, we expect youngster Eric Gelinas to take that role sometime this year, but Zidlicky should produce on the power play and put up solid plus/minus numbers with D-partner Bryce Salvador.
 Adam Henrique, C, NJD9/29/2014 6:47:00 PM
Description: Devils center Adam Henrique\'s biggest obstacle to taking his fantasy game to another level is fellow centerman Travis Zajac. Insight: Henrique proved last year that he can score 20 goals with Michael Ryder and Ryane Clowe as linemates, but Henrique would be far more productive if he received playing time with Jaromir Jagr and Mike Cammalleri. Henrique is a handcuff that fantasy owners hope will see more playing time on the top line.
