Description: Houston rookie receiver DeAndre Hopkins will still have to share targets with Andre Johnson in Week 3 as it appears the Texans' No. 1 receiver will be ready to play.
Insight: Hopkins broke out with seven receptions for 117 yards and a touchdown on 13 targets Sunday against the Titans doing a lot of damage after Johnson was sidelined. His fantasy value drops a bit from early-week expectations of him being the primary target for quarterback Matt Schaub.

Description: Texans rookie receiver DeAndre Hopkins, who broke out with seven receptions for 117 yards and a touchdown on 13 targets Sunday against the Titans, could be in for another big game in Week 3 if star Andre Johnson can't play due to his concussion.
Insight: Hopkins looked like a legitimate No. 1 receiver during overtime while Andre Johnson was in the locker room last week and if Johnson has to miss any time, Hopkins would be a must-start.

Description: Texans rookie receiver DeAndre Hopkins (concussion) is listed as probable for Monday's season opener at San Diego.
Insight: Hopkins finally passed his final concussion test Tuesday. He'll serve as the No. 2 receiver across from Andre Johnson and should be owned in all fantasy leagues, but owners should avoid playing him early this season until the Texans show that they are willing to break from their conservative passing offense. Of Houston's 354 completions last season, 212 went to backs or tight ends.

Description: Texans receiver DeAndre Hopkins finally has passed his concussion test, according to ProFootballTalk.
Insight: Hopkins should be ready to go for the season opener, but rookies who miss a lot of practice time don't get big roles in the offense. He'll likely be eased into the slot opposite Andre Johnson and should have a much better second half of the season.

Description: Texans receiver DeAndre Hopkins hasn't passed his final concussion test yet, according to Tania Ganguli of ESPN.com.
Insight: However, coach Gary Kubiak thinks if Hopkins would have been tested Friday he would have passed. The rookie has a little more than a week before the season opener.

Description: Texans wideout DeAndre Hopkins suffered a concussion in Saturday's win against the Dolphins. SOURCE: John McClain, Houston Chronicle
Insight: Hopkins made two catches for 22 yards prior to the injury. He'll likely be kept out as a precaution next week against the Saints though we wouldn't expect the injury to carry over into the regular season.

Description: Houston rookie wideout DeAndre Hopkins caught four balls for 52 yards, including a 34-yard touchdown, in the Texans' exhibition opener.
Insight: Hopkins had a huge season at Clemson, putting up 82 receptions for 1,405 yards and 18 touchdowns. He's not super fast, but a good route runner who can separate from the defender. He'll see a lot of one-on-one coverage opposite Andre Johnson and he could produce decent fantasy statistics if he continues to play well.

Description: Texans' rookie wideout DeAndre Hopkins should eventually grab the starting job opposite Andre Johnson, but according to receivers coach Larry Kirksey he's not there yet.
Insight: He has to beat out second-year guys Keshawn Martin and Lestar Jean. We think it's mostly coach speak. Hopkins had a huge season at Clemson, putting up 82 receptions for 1,405 yards and 18 touchdowns. He's not super fast, but a good route runner who can separate from the defender. By Opening Day he will be a starter.

Description: With Kevin Walter agreeing to a deal in the offseason with Tennessee, the Texans used their first-round pick (27th overall) to select Clemson standout DeAndre Hopkins.
Insight: Hopkins had a huge season at Clemson, putting up 82 receptions for 1,405 yards and 18 touchdowns. He's not super fast, but a good route runner who can separate from the defender. He's also a solid blocker for a receiver, which Arian Foster will appreciate. Hopkins should end up being a low-end WR3 by the end of his rookie season.
