Bears terminate WR Knox's contract Lake Forest, IL (Sports Network) - The Chicago Bears terminated the contract of wide receiver Johnny Knox on Tuesday. Knox spent the 2012 season on the PUP list due to a back injury, which he suffered during a game against the Seahawks in December 2011. He underwent spinal fusion surgery. The 26-year-old Knox played in 45 career games (27 starts) with the Bears, hauling in 133 receptions for 2,214 yards and 12 touchdowns.
