Insight: Ray Emery will start in Mason's place. Mason went 33-18-7 with a 2.50 GAA and a .917 SV% this season. He was shelled in his only career postseason appearance as a rookie in 2008-09, giving up 17 goals in four games against the Red Wings.

Insight: Zetterberg will skate with his teammates early in Tuesday's practice. He underwent back surgery for a herniated disc in late February and is very iffy for the entirety of Round 1.

Insight: Palat didn't miss a game all season until Sunday. The 23-year-old had 23 goals, 36 assists (59 points) and a +32 rating. In a typical season that production would have won him the Calder Trophy, but Nathan MacKinnon was slightly better.

Insight: Harding finished with an 18-7-3 record, a 1.66 GAA and a .933 SV% in 29 games (26 starts). It's unclear if he'll be able to return for the postseason.
Tuukka Rask, G, BOS4/14/2014 4:46:00 PM
Description: Boston goalie Tuukka Rask led the league with seven shutouts in 2013-14. He went 36-15-6 with a 2.04 GAA and a .930 SV% and should be a finalist for the Vezina Trophy.
Insight: Rask benefited from having one of the NHL's best possession teams in front of him and had to make just 1,526 saves, 14th-most in the NHL and 341 behind leader Semyon Varlamov. That may hurt him in the Vezina competition. Still, it was another excellent season for the 27-year-old.
Carey Price, G, MON4/14/2014 4:44:00 PM
Description: Canadiens goaltender Carey Price had a career-high .927 SV% this season. He tied for third in the NHL with Semyon Varlamov in that statistic.
Insight: Price went 34-20-5 with a 2.32 GAA and six shutouts. The 26-year-old has recorded a .920 SV% or better in three of his seven NHL seasons.
Cory Schneider, G, NJD4/14/2014 4:40:00 PM
Description: Devils netminder Cory Schneider finished third in the NHL was a 1.97 GAA and tied for 13th with a .921 SV%, but he won only 16 of his 43 starts.
Insight: Schneider lost 15 games in regulation and 12 in overtime. The 28-year-old is expected to be the unquestioned No. 1 goaltender next season after splitting time with Martin Brodeur for most of 2013-14.

Insight: Kopitar scored 29 goals, had 41 assists (70 points), attempted 200 SOG and recorded a +34 rating. He was the only non-Bruin in the top five in plus/minus.

Description: Washington right wing Alex Ovechkin finished with an NHL-high 51 goals this season.
Insight: Ovechkin reached 50 goals for the first time since 2010 and the fifth time in his career. He also had 28 assists, 386 shots on goal and 48 penalty minutes, so fantasy owners were able to overlook his -35 rating (third-worst in NHL).
Semyon Varlamov, G, COL4/14/2014 4:30:00 PM
Description: Avalanche goalie Semyon Varlamov led the NHL with 41 wins this season.
Insight: Varlamov finished third in save percentage (.927) and also led the NHL with 1,867 saves, 132 more than second-place Kari Lehtonen.

Description: Wild right winger Jason Pominville needed three points in the regular season finale to hit 60 for the season and he got them.
Insight: Pominville had a goal and two assists to end up with two nice round numbers -- 30 goals and 30 assists in 82 games.

Insight: Josi scored 13 goals and added 27 assists in 72 games this season. The 23-year-old was able to provide a capable complement to Shea Weber after the Predators lost Ryan Suter prior to last season.

Insight: He beat out captain Claude Giroux's 28. Simmonds was an excellent fantasy option in 2013-14, providing 106 PIM and 209 SOG to go with the 29 goals and 31 assists.

Description: Carolina center Eric Staal ended a disappointing season on a high note with two goals Sunday at Philadelphia.
Insight: It was Staal's first multi-goal game since Jan. 27. The center had 61 points (21 goals, 40 assists) in 79 games this season, his least for a non-lockout season since his rookie year in 2003-04.

Description: Hurricanes winger Jeff Skinner's two goals on Sunday gave him a career-high 33.
Insight: The 21-year-old Skinner had 31 goals as a rookie in 2010-11 and came into Sunday's finale with 31. He'll finish with 54 points and 274 SOG in 71 contests.

Insight: Zidlicky finished with 12 goals, his most since 2008-09 and just one less than he had in the previous three seasons combined. He also had 30 assists.

Insight: Miller gave up 18 goals in his last five starts of the season and lost all five. He ended up going 10-8-1 with a 2.47 GAA and a .903 SV% in 19 starts with the Blues after starting out 7-0-1 following the trade from Buffalo.

Insight: The 2010 first-rounder ended the regular season with nine goals and 15 assists (24 points) in 42 games. He'll try to stay hot against the Bruins in the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Description: Red Wings center Pavel Datsyuk (knee) had his first multi-point game since Dec. 28 Sunday in the regular season finale against the Blues.
Insight: Datsyuk missed 30 games due to knee inflammation from January-April. He put up four points in six games since he returned to action and finished the regular season with 17 goals and 20 assists (37 points) in 45 games.

Insight: Benn didn't miss a game all season so the Stars gave him Sunday off to rest for the playoffs. The 24-year-old benefited from Dallas' addition of Tyler Seguin in 2013-14 and had a career-high 79 points (34 goals, 45 assists) and 279 SOG.
