Description: Bulls center Joakim Noah nearly triple-doubled in Los Angeles Thursday night, pulling down 17 rebounds to go along with nine assists, nine points and blocked shot.

Pau Gasol, PF/C1/30/2015 9:24:00 AM
Description: Bulls center Pau Gasol posted more good numbers as he thrives in Chicago.
Insight: He had 20 points, 10 rebounds, six assists and four blocks, but it wasn't enough as his Bulls fell to the Lakers Thursday night. He's the Bulls inside game and with Jimmy Butler and Derrick Rose on the outside he has plenty of room to operate.

Nikola Mirotic, F1/29/2015 10:40:00 PM
Description: Bulls forward Nikola Mirotic is starting at small forward versus the Lakers on Thursday.
Insight: Mirotic has not been good at small forward this month, but he is getting another chance. We really like Mirotic, so we advise giving him a look in daily leagues.

Description: Bulls shooting guard Jimmy Butler (illness) did not play on Tuesday night and is questionable for Thursday's game against the Lakers.

Description: Bulls center Joakim Noah did not play the entire fourth quarter on Sunday versus the Heat.
Insight: Noah finished with four points, five rebounds, two assists and two blocks. Coach Tom Thibodeau said after the game that he liked the group that started the fourth quarter, so Noah stayed on the bench. Thibodeau said Noah was healthy, but he did want to watch his minutes. Insight: How much he'll play is another story. McDermott wasn't doing very much before the injury (3.2 ppg, 1.6 rpg), so this news isn't going to send anyone scrambling to the waiver wire.

Description: Bulls center Pau Gasol recorded another double-double on Saturday night.
Insight: He had 22 points, 15 boards, three assists, one block, and three turnovers. Gasol keeps improving and is now a top 10 option.

Description: Bulls guard Derrick Rose continued his strong play of late.
Insight: He had 23 points, 10 assists, eight boards, four 3-pointers, and three turnovers. This could be a time for owners to sell high on Rose, but there is also a solid chance he has returned to form for good.

Joakim Noah, C1/14/2015 10:22:00 PM
Description: Bulls center Joakim Noah suffered a right ankle injury on Wednesday and will not return according to the Chicago Tribune Review.
Insight: At this time, it is unclear how serious the injury is. With Noah out, Taj Gibson and Nikola Mirotic will have more fantasy value and are worth picking up if Noah misses any time.

Derrick Rose, G1/11/2015 10:23:00 AM
Description: Bulls guard Derrick Rose (bruised right hip) did not play Saturday and is questionable for Monday's game against Orlando
Insight: As always the this injury-prone player, fantasy owners must check just before tipoff to make sure he hasn't injured something new.
Kirk Hinrich, G1/10/2015 10:24:00 PM
Description: Bulls guard Kirk Hinrich was the only other Chicago player in double figures besides Pau Gasol on Saturday.
Insight: Gasol went crazy with 46 points and 30 shots versus the Bucks. With that kind of production from Gasol, there weren't many other opportunities for other Bulls players, but Hinrich managed to scored 16 points. He is averaging 7.4 ppg and 2.8 apg this season.

Description: Bulls shooting guard Jimmy Butler led the team with 24 points as Chicago defeated Minnesota, 105-104, on Saturday.
Insight: Butler made 6-of-12 field goals and 11 free throws. He also grabbed four rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block.
Derrick Rose, G11/1/2014 11:44:00 AM
Description: Bulls guard Derrick Rose (ankle) is questionable for Saturday's game against the Timberwolves.
Insight: The injury seems like it is minor, but Chicago will not take any chances. Questions will continue to persist however, if Rose continues to miss games throughout the season. Consider him day-to-day.
Pau Gasol, PF/C11/1/2014 10:16:00 AM
Description: Bulls center Pau Gasol continued his solid start with Chicago.
Insight: Gasol added 20 points and six rebounds against the Timberwolves on Saturday. He also had four blocks. Gasol is averaging 18.7 points per game and 8.7 rebounds in the first three games of the regular season.
Pau Gasol, PF/C10/31/2014 10:58:00 PM
Description: Bulls center Pau Gasol had a solid game in Friday's overtime loss to Cleveland.
Insight: He had 13 points, nine rebounds, and impressive six blocked shots. While Gasol won't be getting six blocks per game, numbers close to a double-double will please fantasy owners.
Kirk Hinrich, G10/31/2014 10:56:00 PM
Description: Bulls guard Kirk Hinrich stepped up in the absence of Derrick Rose.
Insight: With Rose leaving in the fourth quarter, with a sprained ankle, Hinrich hit some big shots down the stretch, and finished with 20 points. His season-high last season, was 19.
Derrick Rose, G10/31/2014 10:20:00 PM
Description: Bulls guard Derrick Rose left Friday's game with a sprained ankle, and is questionable to return.
Insight: Doris Burke gave the report with about three minutes left in the fourth quarter, so it is unlikely that Rose returns. Hopefully the injury does not keep him out long, as Rose was having a productive night (20 points, four assists, four rebounds in 25 minutes). However, questions contiue to linger if Rose can stay healthy.
Jimmy Butler, G/F10/31/2014 7:55:00 PM
Description: Bulls shooting guard Jimmy Butler (thumb) is not in the starting lineup Friday against Cleveland.
Insight: It is looking like Butler will need at least one more game, before he makes his season-debut.
Jimmy Butler, G/F10/31/2014 4:17:00 PM
Description: Bulls shooting guard Jimmy Butler (thumb) took part in Friday's shootaround, but is still a game-time decision.
Insight: Check back closer to tip-off, to see if Butler is ready to roll versus the Cavaliers.
Taj Gibson, PF10/31/2014 12:20:00 PM
Description: Bulls forward Taj Gibson played very well coming off the bench in the season opener and given a chance can certainly repeat those numbers.
Insight: Gibson played 28 minutes, scoring 22 points and pulling down eight rebounds, but that was against a weak Knicks team. Let's see what kind of role and output he posted Friday night against Cleveland.
Derrick Rose, G10/31/2014 12:17:00 PM
Description: Bulls guard Derrick Rose wasn't huge in Chicago's opening night win over the Knicks, but then again he only played 21 minutes.
Insight: Rose was 3-for-7 for 13 points, while adding five assists, three rebounds and two steals. We hope to see him play 30 minutes down the road so that he can get the numbers we expect from him.
Derrick Rose, G10/29/2014 10:29:00 PM
Description: Bulls guard Derrick Rose did not need to do much in Chicago's opening night win over the Knicks.
Insight: He was 3-for-7 for 13 points, while adding five assists, three rebounds and two steals. Look for Rose to get his numbers up, next time out.
Pau Gasol, PF/C10/29/2014 10:28:00 PM
Description: Bulls center Pau Gasol had a fantastic team debut.
Insight: Him and backup power forward Taj Gibson led the Bulls on Wednesday, with Gasol going for 21 points and 11 rebounds. Gibson chipped in 22 points, eight rebounds, one steal, and one block as well. It is early, but it is looking like Chicago is extremely deep.
Jimmy Butler, G/F10/24/2014 11:32:00 AM
Description: Bulls shooting guard Jimmy Butler is dealing with a sprained left thumb which has him questionable for Wednesday's game against New York.
Insight: Butler was a breakout star last season as we saw his scoring jump from 8.6 ppg to 13.1 ppg. Although he had a solid preseason, he'll have to fight for his points because of the return of Derrick Rose and the acquisition of Pau Gasol.
Kirk Hinrich, G10/20/2014 6:43:00 PM
Description: Bulls guard Kirk Hinrich has very little fantasy value with the return of point guard Derick Rose this season.
Insight: There is always a chance that Rose suffers yet another injury to his knee, but even without Rose last season, Hinrich averaged just 9.1 points per game with a 39 percent shooting percentage. He is not worth targeting in standard drafts.
Doug McDermott, F10/20/2014 6:41:00 PM
Description: Rookie Doug McDermott will have to earn his playing time with hard-noised coach Tom Thibodeau.
Insight: That being said, Chicago traded up to draft McDemott because of his raw talent and ability to score. McDermott will take minutes away from veteran Mike Dunleavy, and owners should expect McDermott to shoot a tremendous percentage playing on such a great passing team.
Taj Gibson, PF10/20/2014 6:36:00 PM
Description: As far as drafting bench players goes, Bulls forward Taj Gibson should be one of the top bench players taken in fantasy drafts.
Insight: Gibson averaged 19.3 PPG, 2.8 APG, 9.8 RPG, and 1.8 BPG in seven starts last season. The front court is crowded in Chicago, but should Joakim Noah or Pau Gasol go down, Gibson will start and Chicago shouldn't miss a beat. He will be a great sixth man as well, which makes him a late value pickup in fantasy.
Joakim Noah, C10/20/2014 6:23:00 PM
Description: Bulls center Joakim Noah is the top fantasy player in Chicago this season.
Insight: The hype will likely surround the return of Bulls point guard Derrick Rose, but Noah is the best fantasy asset in Chicago. He averaged 12.4 points, 11.3 rebounds and 5.4 assists while shooting nearly 48 percent from the floor last season. It will be extremely hard for Noah to repeat those numbers with Rose back and with the addition of Pau Gasol, but there is still plenty to like about Noah.
Pau Gasol, PF/C10/20/2014 6:17:00 PM
Description: Bulls center Pau Gasol is a solid big man to target in the middle rounds.
Insight: With the position so thin, Gasol has quite a bit of value in fantasy drafts this season. Gasol may not score as much as he did in Los Angeles, but he will likely average close to a double-double per game with 15.7 points and 9.2 rebounds. He is also one of the best passers at the center position. We expect 3.7 assists per game.
Mike Dunleavy, G/F10/20/2014 6:10:00 PM
Description: Bulls forward Mike Dunleavy has very little upside in fantasy basketball this season.
Insight: Dunleavy averaged 32 minutes per game last season, but we expect that to take a tip with rookie Doug McDermott in the rotation. Dunleavy can provide a boost in leagues with 3-pointers, but that is about it.
Jimmy Butler, G/FHot10/20/2014 6:05:00 PM
Description: Bulls shooting guard Jimmy Butler is averaging 18 points on 60 percent shooting from the field this preseason.
Insight: NBA.com reported Butler is crediting his great play this preseason to his rigorous offseason training. He came in 10 pounds lighter and more focused than last season. That's what fantasy owners love to hear.
Derrick Rose, G10/20/2014 5:59:00 PM
Description: Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau said he wants his star point guard to improve upon his defense this season according to the Chicago Sun-Times.
Insight: Rose said he is used to that kind of criticism from his coach. Fantasy owners likely don't care much about Rose playing better defense. In his last full season, he averaged 1.0 steals and 0.6 blocks per game, which owners would love to take with his 7-plus assist average and 20-plus points per night.
Mike Dunleavy, G/F10/11/2014 1:44:00 PM
Description: Bulls forward Mike Dunleavy will not play in Chicago's preseason game on Saturday.
Insight: Dunleavy has soreness in his knee, but it does not sound serious. Doug McDermott will start in Dunleavy's place on Saturday. It will be fascinating to see how McDermott does in his first start, but Dunleavy clearly has the better fantasy value at this point.
Derrick Rose, G9/3/2014 12:31:00 PM
Description: Bulls point guard Derrick Rose is planning on playing in three games over three days for Team USA.
Insight: This is a nice test for fantasy owners for whether Rose will be able to withstand an NBA schedule or whether he'll need off games in back-to-backs like Dwyane Wade did last season.
Derrick Rose, G8/21/2014 11:48:00 AM
Description: Bulls point guard Derrick Rose said he will play in Team USA's exhibition game against Puerto Rico on Friday.
Insight: Rose did not suit up for Wednesday's game against Dominican Republic but he told CBS Sports there's northing to worry about. "Just trying to protect myself, just knowing that this is a long, long schedule and this is the most basketball I'll be playing in two years." Rose has played in just 10 games the past two seasons, so fantasy owners who have stuck with him should be pleased Rose is not pushing himself too early.
Derrick Rose, G8/2/2014 9:56:00 AM
Description: Bulls point guard Derrick Rose looked very good during the Team USA Showcase event in Las Vegas Friday night.
Insight: Rose missed most of last season with a torn meniscus after sitting out all of the previous season while recovering from a torn ACL, but appeared to have his explosive speed back. We expect his shot will be a bit rusty, but if he continues to play like this, he'll be selected within the first two rounds at fantasy drafts.
Derrick Rose, G7/29/2014 9:35:00 PM
Description: Syracuse coach and Team USA assistant coach Jim Boeheim said Bulls point guard Derrick Rose has been "the most impressive guy" at Team USA's training camp, according to ESPNChicago.com.
Insight: Rose missed most of last season with a torn meniscus after sitting out all of the previous season while recovering from a torn ACL. Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau, another Team USA assistant, also praised Rose. "The same (speed and explosiveness). The strength in his leg is great. His explosion is back. That's all there," Thibodeau said.
Derrick Rose, G7/28/2014 12:16:00 PM
Description: Bulls guard Derrick Rose will compete for a Team USA roster spot without any restrictions based on past injuries.
Insight: Rose missed most of last season with a torn meniscus. It will be pretty tough competition to make the final roster as Rose will be going up against Stephen Curry, Damian Lillard, John Wall, and Kyrie Irving. If he can beat any of those guys, it bodes well for his fantasy value next season.
Carlos Boozer, F7/16/2014 3:57:00 PM
Description: The Bulls have used their amnesty provision on Carlos Boozer.
Insight: Chicago shopped Boozer around the league first but couldn't find any team interested in taking on his $16.8 million salary. He averaged 28.2 minutes, 13.7 points, 8.3 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game last season, but he was rarely used in fourth quarters and was no longer needed after the team signed Pau Gasol.
Pau Gasol, PF/C7/13/2014 3:49:00 PM
Description: Pau Gasol is finalizing a contract with the Chicago Bulls.
Insight: The acquisition of Gasol, who averaged 17.4 points, 9.7 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.5 blocks last season, to pair with Joakim Noah will give Chicago the best passing frontcourt in the NBA. It will also keep Taj Gibson on the bench.
Derrick Rose, G6/18/2014 11:20:00 AM
Description: Bulls guard Derrick Rose has declared himself game-ready. SOURCE: K.C. Johnson, Chicago Tribune
Insight: Rose missed most of last season with a torn meniscus. He's still relatively young (25) but after so many surgeries, it's doubtful Rose will ever play at an MVP level again.
Taj Gibson, PF5/24/2014 3:52:00 PM
Description: Taj Gibson has been told he'll be the Bulls' starter at power forward next season. SOURCE: Chicago Sun-Times
Insight: The implication is that Carlos Boozer is on his way out of Chi-Town. Boozer could be tough to trade given his gigantic $16.8 million salary but Gibson (13.0 ppg, 6.8 rpg) has certainly earned his place in the starting lineup.
Joakim Noah, C5/2/2014 8:11:00 PM
Description: Chicago center Joakim Noah has already undergone arthroscopic surgery on his left knee. SOURCE: NBA.com
Insight: He'll need 8-to-12 weeks of recovery time. Noah was the NBA's Defensive Player of the Year in 2014. He'll be fine by the time the regular season opens in late October.
Taj Gibson, PF/C4/30/2014 9:33:00 PM
Description: Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau said that Taj Gibson sprained his ankle Tuesday night, according to K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune.
Insight: Gibson exited Game 5 of Chicago's playoff series against the Wizards with the injury and never returned. Washington eliminated the Bulls despite Gibson averaging 18.2 points, 6.2 rebounds and 2.4 blocks per game in the series. The 28-year-old had his best season in 2013-14 (13 ppg, 6.8 rpg, 1.4 bpg).
Joakim Noah, C4/30/2014 9:32:00 PM
Description: Bulls center Joakim Noah underwent an MRI on his knee Wednesday, according to K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune.
Insight: Noah needed to have the knee drained as well. He won the Defensive Player of the Year award this season after averaging 12.6 points, 11.3 rebounds, 5.4 assists, 1.5 blocks and 1.2 steals in 80 games. The Wizards eliminated the Bulls from the postseason Tuesday night.
Joakim Noah, C4/30/2014 9:31:00 AM
Description: Chicago's season ended in disappointing fashion Tuesday against Washington but that didn't stop center Joakim Noah from grabbing 18 rebounds and handing out seven assists.
Insight: Noah also contributed three blocked shots in the losing effort. The series win was Washington's first since 2005. Noah averaged 10.4 ppg, 12.8 rpg, 4.6 apg and 1.4 bpg for the series.
Taj Gibson, PF/C4/29/2014 10:09:00 PM
Description: Bulls PF/C Taj Gibson rolled his left ankle on John Wall's foot during Tuesday's game and was helped to the locker room, according to K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune.
Insight: The Bulls are trailing 3-1 in the series and 68-62 with 6:03 left in the fourth quarter in Game 5 Tuesday. Gibson averaged 19.8 points, 6.8 rebounds and 2.3 blocks over the first four games of the series and had 12 points, four boards and three blocks before exiting Tuesday.

Taj Gibson, PF/C4/27/2014 3:38:00 PM
Description: Bulls PF/C Taj Gibson netted a game-high 32 points Sunday in a Game 4 loss to Washington.
Insight: Gibson scored 20 of those points in the first half. He shot an incredible 81.3 percent from the floor (13-of-16) and spent most of the game manhandling Trevor Booker in the low post. Of course, things will be a lot harder for Gibson Tuesday when Nene returns from his one-game suspension.
Mike Dunleavy, G/F4/27/2014 3:12:00 PM
Description: Chicago swingman Mike Dunleavy may have hyperextended his elbow Sunday against Washington. SOURCE: K.C. Johnson, Chicago Tribune
Insight: Dunleavy went off for 35 points in Game 3 but today he only has six. With Dunleavy sidelined, the Bulls will use Jimmy Butler at the three with Kirk Hinrich at shooting guard. D.J. Augustin has been handling the point guard duties for Chicago.
Taj Gibson, PF/CHot4/23/2014 10:05:00 AM
Description: Chicago PF/C Taj Gibson recorded his fourth career postseason double-double Tuesday against Washington.
Insight: He finished with 22 points, ten boards and three blocked shots. Despite Gibson's efforts, the Bulls are down 0-2 and will have to win the next couple on the road to have any chance of coming back in this series.

Description: Bulls center Joakim Noah collected 20 points, 12 rebounds and two blocks in Tuesday's loss to Washington.

D.J. Augustin, G4/14/2014 7:43:00 PM
Description: Bulls point guard D.J. Augustin (personal) will not play Monday against Orlando.
Insight: Augustin has been a superb fantasy option since he joined the Bulls and has averaged 17.6 points on .454 shooting, 4.2 assists and 2.1 rebounds over his last 22 games.
D.J. Augustin, G 4/14/2014 6:20:00 PM

Description: Bulls center Joakim Noah tied Lance Stephenson for the NBA lead with his fourth triple-double of the season Wednesday night.

Insight: Boozer led the Bulls in scoring and rebounding with 16 points and 12 rebounds, while Gibson had 13 points and 10 boards. Boozer has averaged just 10.9 ppg in March, his lowest monthly output of the season, due in large part to the emergence of Gibson.

Description: Bulls shooting guard Jimmy Butler has scored 16 or 17 points in three straight games.
Insight: Butler had 17 points, eight rebounds, six assists and a steal Saturday against the 76ers. He has been good for 15 ppg, 5.3 rpg, 2.7 apg, 2.3 spg and 1.1 3pg his last 14 games. The guard has played at least 45 minutes in four consecutive games.
Tornike Shengelia, F3/21/2014 10:26:00 AM
Description: Bulls forward Tornike Shengelia is questionable for Friday's game against Indiana due to flu-like symptoms.
Insight: Averaging less than seven minutes a night, Shengelia has no fantasy value. Lets just hope he doesn't give his cold to any fantasy-worthy players.
Taj Gibson, FHot3/19/2014 10:23:00 PM
Description: Bulls forward Taj Gibson was the man Wednesday in an eight-point win over Philadelphia.

Description: Bulls center Joakim Noah had 13 points, 10 rebounds, nine assists and two steals in 35 minutes Thursday against the Rockets.

He's tied for second in the NBA with three, all of which came since Feb. 11. Noah has thrown up 13.3 ppg, 12.2 rpg, 5.6 apg, 1.6 bpg and 1.1 spg his last 43 games and averaged seven-plus assists per game over his last 15.

Insight: Playing with a sprained thumb, Noah went off for 20 points, 12 boards, seven assists and five blocked shots. No fantasy center offers as wide a skill set as Noah. Joakim Noah, CHot3/5/2014 10:05:00 PM
Description: Joakim Noah's triple-double Wednesday against the Pistons was his third of the season.
