Description: Arizona catcher Miguel Montero is 6-for-12 with a home run versus Phillies starter Kyle Kendrick.
Insight: Montero hasn't homered since June 28, but he's still knocking in runs and has 58 RBI for the season. If the top of the order can get on base Friday, Montero should be able to add to his total.

Insight: Ruiz (.261, 2 HR, 14 RBI) is just back from a stint on the disabled list (concussion), but this is a routine day off after a night game.

Insight: Gattis was dealing with a bulging thoracic disc in his back. He's 5-for-7 (.714) versus Miami starter Henderson Alvarez. Gattis has a .286 average, 16 homers, 39 RBI and a .884 OPS this season.

Insight: The 27-year-old Posey's numbers are down a bit this season, but he's still an top-tier fantasy catcher batting .284 with 11 home runs and 53 RBI.

Insight: Perez is dealing with minor groin soreness. He had a terrific June (.347, 4 2B, 5 HR, 16 RBI) but has been subpar in the other three months. In July, Perez has batted .259 with one extra-base hit.

Insight: Ruiz (.257, 2 HR, 14 RBI) suffered a concussion on June 26 when he was hit in the head by a pitch. He should be back early next week at the latest provided he doesn't have a recurrence of symptoms.

Insight: Gattis is dealing with a bulging thoracic disc in his back. He's expected to play 3-4 games in the minors before returning to the Braves' lineup. Gattis has a .290 average, 16 homers, 39 RBI and a .900 OPS this season.

Insight: Perez already has 11 homers this season after hitting just 13 last year and although he has just 36 RBI and 38 runs on the year, he's driven in 24 and scored 24 in his last 40 games.

Insight: No injury, just a routine day off after a night game. Rosario has been a disappointment, hitting .246 with nine homers, 35 RBI and a .709 OPS in 232 at-bats. He hit .282 and averaged 24 homers and 75 RBI per season the past two years.
