2013: Selected by Dallas in 1st round (13th overall) of the NBA Draft; Traded to Boston, June 27th...2014: NBA All-Rookie Second Team.

Burst on to the scene in 2012-13 after playing a reserve role as a freshman (3.8 ppg) and sophomore (5.8 ppg), earning West Coast Conference Player of the Year honors as well as First Team All-America by averaging 17.8 ppg and 7.3 rpg...Poured in a career-high 33 points on 12-of-15 from the floor in a Jan. 5, 2013 win over Santa Clara...Great variety of shots around the basket and from the outside, resulting in an outstanding field goal percentage last season (.629)...Uses size and strength to his advantage, creating opportunities on the low block...Excellent free-throw shooter for a big man (.776)...Good mid-range shooting touch...Terrific footwork...Very polished offensively...Plays tough on defense, but lacks the leaping ability to be an effective shot-blocker...Production came in mid-major conference, limiting his experience against NBA-caliber talent...Below-average athleticism, quickness and explosiveness by NBA standards, which limits ceiling.
