Description: Rays starter Chris Archer pitched 5 2/3 innings, giving up just one unearned run on seven hits versus the Red Sox on Tuesday.

8/7/2013 10:47:00 PM
Description: Tampa Bay starter Chris Archer left Wednesday's game against Arizona with right forearm tightness, the team announced.
Insight: That's bad news, as forearm tightness is often indicative of an elbow issue. Archer was both the AL Rookie of the Month and the AL Pitcher of the Month for July and had gone 5-1 with a 1.80 ERA in his last eight starts prior to Wednesday.
