|2/9/2011 11:03:00 PM||Description: The latest in a string of injuries for right-handed reliever Luis Vizcaino apparently will cost him at least another season on the sidelines. The 36-year-old pitcher, who signed a Minor League contract with the Yankees in December, had the deal voided by the organization on Wednesday, according to the New York Post.
||Insight: Vizcaino tore his Achilles tendon during the Winter League season and is not expected to pitch in 2011. He also missed all of the '10 season and almost all of the '09 campaign because of arm trouble. At age 36 and after 3 consecutive injury-plagued seasons, it might be difficult for him to make another comeback.|
