Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - The Texans defense has been on quite a fantasy tear with double-digit points in the last four games. In fact, Houston has scored at least seven fantasy points in every game since Week 8.

Against the Jacksonville Jaguars, who allow the most-points to opposing defenses in the league, Houston comes in as the No. 1 defense for Week 16.

If Houston is No. 1, Seattle's defense is "1A."

The Seahawks have allowed 33 total points during their five-game winning streak. In each of those games, the Seattle defense has at least 11 fantasy points. Going all the way back to Week 8, the Seahawks have at least six points in every game.

It doesn't matter that in Week 7, the Seattle defense scored just one fantasy point versus the Rams. It is a different Seahawks defense at this point in the season, and they are home this time.

The Patriots defense has played very well lately too, but with the team already wrapping up home field advantage throughout the playoffs, New England has nothing to play for this week. The Patriots could be sitting starters in the second half, so the defense's fantasy value takes a slight hit.

Conversely, the Bills defense sees an increase in value due to the Patriots maybe resting some players. Buffalo has been one of the best fantasy defenses this year anyway and against Peyton Manning and Aaron Rodgers, the Bills defense scored an average of 12 fantasy points.

The Lions have also been one of the best fantasy defenses this season and have played well lately, however, it wouldn't be a wise choice to start them versus the Packers in Lambeau. Detroit hasn't won in Green Bay in 24 years, and Rodgers hasn't thrown an interception at home since December of 2012.
