Notes:
Named to the watch lists for the Bronko Nagurski Trophy and both the Chuck Bednarik and Ted Hendrick Awards heading into the 2007 campaign...A two-time All-SEC First Team selection while at Auburn, Groves finished his career tied for the school's all-time record with 26 sacks...Just as important Groves, who missed a couple of games in 2007 with a foot injury, also logged an incredible 23 quarterback hurries which means he was in the backfield on a regular basis...As a junior, Groves made almost one-third of his 37 tacklesbehind the line of scrimmage and was ranked third in the league in sacks with nine and a half, more than enough to get him onto the AP's All-SEC First Team...Third on the team in 2005 with six sacks, which means he dropped off from his 2004 performance when he tied for third in the conference and was first on the squad with 7.5 sacks and was subsequently named to a number of Freshman All-America teams...Has true talent and seems to be all over the field, which at times can count against him when he is out of position...Groves also had some off-the-field issues during his college experience that bring in the question of his character.
