Notes:
Laws was the only college defensive lineman to produce 100 or more tackles during the 2007 campaign, earning him a trip to the Senior Bowl and the NFL scouting combine...With a team-leading 112 total stops, Laws ranks second behind only Steve Niehaus for the most tackles by a defensive lineman in Notre Dame history...Laws, a starter in all 12 games this past season, led the Irish with four sacks and seven quarterback hurries and was second with eight tackles for loss...Even more impressive, he recorded three blocked kicks, showing off his quickness and instincts for taking the shortest route to the ball...In his three previous seasons at UND, Laws had a total of 112 tackles, 14.5 TFLs and six sacks...Laws was forced to sit out the 2003 season due to injury, but has made a name for himself the last two seasons with impressive efforts that have helped mask the fact that he is slightly undersized for his position.
