Notes:
A semifinalist for the 2011 Butkus Award as a senior at NC State, even after he moved from the SAM linebacker spot to middle linebacker during spring drills...Started all 13 games at the position in his final year, leading the Wolfpack in tackles with a total of 132, posting a career-high with 16 takedowns versus both Cincinnati and Georgia...Also logged career bests with both 14 tackles for loss and six sacks in his final year...Tied for the team-lead with 97 stops in 2010, his 10.5 stops behind the line of scrimmage ranked third on the team...Started all 12 games in 2009 and led the Pack with 85 tackles after appearing mostly on special teams in his first year with the program...Played quarterback, safety and linebacker in high school so he definitely has the ability to tailor his game to whatever a coaching staff might ask of him at the next level.
