Notes:
On 2009 watch lists for the Hendricks Award, Chuck Bednarik Award, Bronko Nagurski Trophy, Lott Trophy and Lombardi Award heading into his senior season with Northwestern...Wootton was slowed at the start of 2009 because of a knee injury that he suffered during the 2008 Alamo Bowl against Missouri...Nevertheless, he set a school record with 49 career starts and finished his career with 38 tackles for loss and 18.5 sacks, placing him fourth and third on the Wildcats' all-time lists, respectively...Showed a lot of promise when as a freshman he became the first player since 1995 to record at least one tally in every major defensive stat category...Invited to take part in the 2010 Senior Bowl, but decided to pass in order to work on strengthening his knee and that's what will get most of the attention leading up to the draft.
