San Antonio, TX (Sports Network) - Leury Garcia hit a three-run homer to help the Texas Rangers take a 5-2 win over the San Diego Padres in the spring training finale for both clubs on Saturday.

Jeff Baker drove in the other two runs for the Rangers, who got four scoreless innings from starter Derek Holland. The left-hander gave up just four hits and struck out six for the win.

Texas opens its 2013 season on the road in Houston on Sunday night.

Chris Denorfia went 3-for-4 with a pair of solo home runs for the Padres, who saw starter Jason Marquis give up five runs on three hits with six walks over 3 2/3 innings of work.

San Diego starts its regular season Monday in New York against the Mets.
