The home run was the first of Norris' major league career. | Insight: It took Norris 12 at bats to hit his first homer, a feat Kurt Suzuki still has yet to accomplish in 213 at bats for the A's this season. Norris will split time behind the plate with Kurt Suzuki. | Insight: Norris hit .273 with eight homers in 236 plate appearances at Triple-A this season. He was one of the pieces acquired from Washington in the Gio Gonzalez trade last December. He doesn't have much immediate fantasy value, however. | | |
