Description: Kansas City second baseman Miguel Tejada faces a 105 game suspension for violating the league's drug program, according to Yahoo Sports.
Insight: Tejada (.288, .695 OPS) claims that Adderall was the drug he tested positive for. This likely marks the end of Tejada's 16-year major league career. Tejada's suspensions is the third-longest in major league history.

Description: The Kansas City Star reports that infielder Miguel Tejada has finally arrived at the Royals' spring training facility in Surprise, Arizona.
Insight: Tejada hasn't appeared in a major league game since 2011. The 38-year-old carries very little fantasy relevance at this stage of his career.

6/25/2012 8:26:00 PM
Description: The Orioles have released minor league third baseman Miguel Tejada.
Insight: Tejada was hitting just .259 with no homers and 18 RBIs for Triple-A Norfolk at the time of his release. Seeing as Tejada wasn't even doing well in the minor leagues this season, it appears his days of fantasy significance are long past.

5/6/2012 10:50:00 PM
Description: Miguel Tejada has agreed to a deal with the Baltmore Orioles. The deal will become official when Tejada passes his physical on Monday.
Insight: No need to rush to the waiver wire. Tejada will begin the season in extended spring training and will probably endure some type of minor league stint similar to what Andy Pettitte has gone through this season before he plays in the majors again.

3/25/2011 5:32:00 AM
Description: Miguel Tejada - struggling through the spring with a .220 batting average, hit his first home run yesterday.
Insight: The news this week that he may bat eighth for the Giants put a big damper on his fantasy relevance. He is a declining player who will have a significantly reduced at-bat total this year and much less production in the process. Avoid him in mixed leagues.

Description: The Giants plan on giving Miguel Tejada regular rest this season. SOURCE: SFGATE.COM
Insight: He is the most durable player in baseball but he is aging and the Giants don't want to wear him out. If he misses 15 games it will obviously cut into his production - there isn't too much production left in him in the first place.
