Insight: Mesoraco has only been able to pinch hit with his hip issue, so he isn't really fantasy relevant. If owners used him on Tuesday, at least they got an extra-base hit and RBI.

Description: Reds catcher Devin Mesoraco hit his 23rd home run of the season on Tuesday as the Reds went on to beat the Cardinals, 9-5.
Insight: Mesoraco slumped at the end of August as his batting average dropped to .273. The catcher has been back on track this month though and has raised his average to .287. He also has 24 doubles, 73 RBI and 50 runs in just 345 at-bats.
