Reno, NV (Sports Network) - Colin Kaepernick threw for 251 yards and two touchdowns and also ran for a score to help No. 19 Nevada crush New Mexico State, 52-6, at Mackay Stadium.

During the ensuing kick off, a holding call put the home team's offense back on its own 21 yard line. After a 44-yard completion to Rogers, the Aggies stalled out on the 28-yard line and Tyler Stampler missed a 46-yard field goal.

Nevada took advantage of the miss and moved ahead 10-0 with an Anthony Martinez's 36-yard field goal with 6:38 left to play in the first quarter.

The Wolf Pack continued to roll in the second, finding the end zone when Kaepernick hit Virgil Green for a 22-yard touchdown, then going up 24-0 on Kaepernick's nine-yard run.

New Mexico State finally got on the board with a 47-yard field goal by Stampler with under a minute to play in the half, but Nevada answered back quickly with a score of its own when Kaepernick completed a pass to Taua, who rumbled 79 yards to make the halftime score 31-3.

The second half scoring was started by Stampler, who made a 39-yard field goal with 9:08 left to play in the third.

Taua collected his third touchdown of the game on a seven-yard run with 4:44 left in the third quarter and Nevada took a 45-6 lead with just over 10 minutes left to play after Lampford Mark broke free for a 57-yard touchdown run.
